Howdy Brother- nice job framing the roof in. I’ve had to splice hips before. One in particular l remember the length was 29’ 9 7/8” to be plate. I’ve always felt a hip roof is more stable than a gable roof. Take care and God bless

That is massive! Mine is about 25' to the finished eve at 1 ft overhang.
