In Australia most our tractor front end loaders come standard with a 4 in 1 and self leveling loader the self leveling is handy for fork work but does limit what U can do in some situations the 4 in 1 is fantastic I would never change to a standard bucket
I was reluctant to take a chance on a 4in1 on my compact tractor. But I wouldn't change a thing. The convenience of having the grapple right there when need it, and not have to return to base, and not have to take time to swap implements. So worth it.
After using this for a while, how do you like it? I have a L2501 and was going to add a bucket and a separate grapple. I process a lot of firewood so the grapple will come in handy moving logs and cutting logs off the ground. I was wondering if you feel the 4-1 would be a better choice instead? I use my 2501 mostly for bush hoggin and firewood and occasionally for moving material. Thanks
For firewood a grapple would do a better job, and depending on the one you buy it might weigh less thus more loader power. As a general tool a combo bucket is awesome but it's not the best at anything.
@@lukedaoutdoorguy7639 The weight. I didn’t think about that. You’re probably right, the 4 in 1 would most likely weigh more than the grapple. That would give me more weight for logs instead on the bucket
I just placed an order for a BX tractor. I'm debating on whether I should asked for a 4-1 bucket instead of a regular bucket, box blade, and a possible future grapple. I initially need to spread out about 100 yards of soil.. and seed it.. but beyond that I may not have need for the box blade. And a grapple might only get used very occasionally. Would this bucket make more sense? I wonder if the dealer will give me a credit on the bucket that comes with the tractor in exchanges for this.
Thanks for the post, Questions, can you close the bucket and move the bucket at the same time with the same controls? (I have owned several 4-1 buckets but on larger machines and all I had to do was twist the lift control. How much extra is the cost of this compared to a standard bucket? Thanks
Hey man, been watching your vids. You still use it to mow your lawn? You liking that vs a zero turn? Also can you comment or maybe do a video on the hst whine and how it really affects in cab comfort. Like does it require ear plugs or does the camera make it sound worse? Thanks.
Sorry I am late to your comment. Yes I still use it to mow. I love it. I am clean and comfortable while I mow my arces. The hst whine is a real thing. I wear wireless ear buds that I listen to music and deaden the sound. It is loud in the cab.
I want to put a grapple arm on my loader in place of the bucket for grabbing small logs. But l don’t know how I should plumb the hydraulics. It would be like installing a backhoe in place of the loader bucket. But with very light materials.
your man , 4 in 1 bucket / the top part of the bucket , good for raking 99% of the time / an the bottom for pushing or for loader bucket / IN THE years to come u want like it / u will be replace pin all the time / they are not cheap ? ? ? ? .
i just cant get over how loud that tractor is ...

That hydrostatic wine is the one and only reason I traded off my LX unbearable after a while
Have you ever tried picking up logs with it?
How much does the bucket cost?
Thanks for the review , I have been shopping for one of these for my L2501 ?

They did for me
Why do you have that loud constant hydraulic whine? My kubota doesnt have that
Listening to other youtubers it seems it happens alot on this model
Lol this is how my L sounds if try to drive with the parking brake on.

Yes, but your GPM will move to a slow crawl. The pump just doesn't have enough flow to make it work good.

Nope the sound is pretty honest.

Take it out of medium-range you will have lot more push... First thing to know operating
DOES NOT WORK MUCH WELL U CANOT HARDLY SEE WHERE U ARE GOING / LOADER BUCKET WORK GREAT
Lack of vision is why people buy skid steers.
Idk what you are talking about. It is the same size as the loader bucket that it replaced.
