I dont mind her doing sponsored videos when she still delivers quality content. She earns a living that way. This is her job. How can we expect people pouring a lot of hardwork on something and not getting reward for it? She needs to eat and pay bills too. We are lucky enough to have a job and not being criticized publicly like her. Be nice, be open minded, stay positive.

I know you made this a while ago but girl. I am honestly so grateful for this video. I have the ROUNDEST face and for so long I’ve been following tutorials that don’t contour for my face shape and I always show up to events looking so dumb. 🤦‍♀️. ALSO! I’ve been applying my foundation with a sponge and I always look so blotchy. I have the worst rosacea and it looked so cakey and I was literally embarrassed to show my face. Today I decided to follow this tutorial and use a brush, and properly contour (the tip of the bronzer with the contour is BOMB) and oh my god I am so happy. This video truly showed me how to properly do my face makeup and now I am so excited to go out. Thank you so much! You’re an amazing UA-camr who caters to all groups. You’re such a life saver. Thank you.

How do you wear your hair? Long and straight looks best for a round face. Longer straight hair adds vertical dimension to your look giving your face a more oval look.

Jaki Garcia translucent setting powder= a setting powder without color and it isn’t supposed to provide additional coverage. Just set your makeup so it doesn’t move and get oily faster. Banana powder= a type of setting powder with a yellow undertone meant to slightly highlight/warm up the skin (it’s really complimentary on darker skin whereas some translucent setting powders can look ashy on dark skin). It provides more coverage than a translucent powder since there is actual color to it, but it won’t completely cover things like acne and discoloration, etc

I am a beginner and I spent $400 on Fenty. Don’t speak for all beginners people pay for what they want or can afford. If I’m going to wear make up it’s going to be expensive cause I want to look expensive. Not saying drugstore make up don’t look good but it’s just not for me even as a beginner. When I see cheap looking makeup I figure cheap drugstore lol. I didn’t know what I was doing with this expensive make up but with videos and coworkers who wear makeup I got it so quickly and glad I got this high end looking makeup. Glad I came across this UA-cam channel I love her makeup eyeshadow tutorials. I don’t come here for what products she’s using I come here to learn and get inspired by different looks.

honestly I've been watching you for over a year now and idk why ppl say you've changed, your personality is still the same from what I remembered. and just because you're doing sponsored videos doesn't mean its a bad thing lol. this video was literally just to teach beginners on how to do their face make up and you found the right time to sponsor the sigma products. yet of course there are always those people who are impossible to make happy.
but if people love make up and they claim to be an artist with it, then they should be able to compromise using these techniques with other make up brands too. whether they're high end or drug store, YOU make it work NOT the youtuber.
thank you for this great detailed video, I'm looking forward to using some of these techniques! 💗

Lately you have been doing so many sponsored videos and I feel like you have really changed.. the whole reason you were my favorite UA-camr is because you were genuine and you actually used products that people can AFFORD. And now you’ve just let everything get to your head and you’re like every other UA-camr. If it’s a “beginners” look you should use beginner products

The products she used are definitely for useable for beginners, she said beginner palette/technique not a drugstore look. If you can't afford a $40 contour palette (which will last a long time) then stick with a $10 one from aliexpress.

I absolutely loved this tutorial! Over the years my skin has changed a lot & I lost my way with how to do my make up! As I was watching this video I was going through my make up & brushes & I have basically everything to complete this look minus the eye highlighter. I'm excited to do my make up tomorrow & I can watch this video while I'm doing it to guide me! I've gotten excited about my make up routine again so I thank u kindly for posting this for all of us to watch! I was wondering if anyone reading this comment knows of anything I may already have that can act as a eye highlighter temporarily until I get some. I was just thinking maybe my under eye concealer with a bit of the lightest white looking highlighter I have. Thank again & I am looking forward to see if there are any other tutorials you have posted! Take Care and God Bless!

LOL Kendal I am a man, 72, cancer survivor. Fair skin, silver hair. I feel good but didn't like how aged I looked in the mirror. Chemo takes a toll on you. My daughter suggested letting me let her do my eyebrows so I didn't look so washed out. I liked that and then found Roxe's videos. Love her style and techniques and how friendly she is. I toned down her C & H tips for me and add just a hint to try and look a little more youthful. I feel great and the success of doing it right is very rewarding an self satisfying. Good luck with your efforts. I am sure you will look perfect. I wish the had a try on video site where we could post our picture and try on different cosmetics and colors to see what looks best on us.

Love how this turned out-very nice! Also really like your technique of blending your cheek powders. Perfect blend!! Hello Roxette, I'm glad I found you. You seem like a sweet person. I was hoping that you could advise me please? You're far better at me, doing make up and I qualified as a beauty therapist but at the time, we had a useless tutor that never even did one make up demonstration! But those days, my skills were great but the make up looks now are very advanced, cut creases, advanced contouring being the main ones. My problem now is (and I have tonnes of all types and formulas of everything!) I have bone disease and limited dexterity and strength in my hands. I can't be doing the liquid foundation (ages to spread and blend, more time equals more bone pain!), highlighter, bronzer and blusher separately. I have a fair idea (I saw a few you tube videos but never saved them, so I can't locate what stick products they used and I guess that they used the stick contours as the actual foundation, as when all the products ie cream and brown contouring sticks, a bronzer stick and a blusher stick, all blended together?!) where to put the products but I'm asking if you'd please tell me which cream sticks of the above to buy please? I don't mind paying more because I have itchy and very dehydrated skin. I'm 48 and girl, you don't want to know!! Am I right in saying that, some people do use that method - drawing thick stripes on the skin) - in lieu of an actual foundation? It's the same stuff really but that method would be far faster for me, just have to use my blending sponge to blend them. If you have a video of what I'm talking about, please tell me but I'm essentially asking you for what products you'd recommend in stick form please? I'm so depressed lately because not only am I 48 and losing my looks, my skin hurts its so dry and I am 100 % bed bound the past 5 years!! No lie, I haven't left this bed since October 2016. Long story but all I have left is my make up. I'm trying not to give in to despair and negative thoughts too. I just need to find out, faster ways to do my make up, I haven't the energy to do my old, 2 hour make up looks. If you can help me, with advice, ideas, products etc, you'd make my Christmas. Ps. You're beautiful without make up too. Don't hide your youth and beauty :). Merry Christmas from Ireland xxx 23rd of December 2021. Xx love Mathona but I'm called Mattie. I followed you too and look forward to seeing your work on 2022.

I am very impressed of how your skin makeup looks throughout the years on your videos I love how your skin makeup ALWAYS looks so beautiful and flawless like on the skin and blended well and your makeup never looks cakey on the skin it always looks natural and glam and it is so beautiful it takes me a while to know which makeup products I will fall in love with and what works in with my skin better cause I don't even know at this point if my skin is dry oily or needs hydration I think I'm more on the dry skin type and I do get breakouts so yeah! I'm OG subscriber and I hope you see my comment cause I seriously do love you so much and your makeup skills is so BOMB :) :) :)
