I think when Rosalee put her hand on Trubel's shoulder that was the first time a wesen had shown her kindness, she said it herself when it was revealed she was a Grimm that 'It's [Grimm] just something they say before they try & kill me.' Also given what's been revealed of her life (Hank reading her rap-sheet when they arrested her), in trouble with the law, locked up for being crazy, etc that she hasn't known much kindness at all up until that point.
It's this episode that really drives home that Nick is actually starting what could amount to a pretty extreme societal change for both Wesen and Grimms. The best part is I'm not sure he even realizes that. He's just trying to do what he thinks is right. Monroe and Rosalee sure realize it, though.
When GRIMM ran out I had high hopes for a time jump and a story line about a Detectiv " TROUBLE " maybe also as a Tutor for Nicks and Hanks children. But since to much water ran through the Creek meanwhile a ! remastered GRIMM - Show would be very different. Especially since most of the actors will not be available anymore.
Found your channel 2 days ago and am already up to date on this reaction series now haha. Your reactions are amazing from the jump scares to the heart warming reactions to monroe and rosalee to the shipping of nick and monroe haha its all absolutely amazing keep up the great work really looking forward to the rest of this series as it is my fave TV show of all time
A good episode for sure. Although it never would have gone to trial. Using an unofficial informant, who's a family member, to get information during an official police investigation is inadmissible in court. It's a good thing they fought and got caught.
It's a deliberate misquote or even just straight up quoting someone misquoting it, if you search for it you'll find a Office clip, but I've heard it somewhere else as well (can't remember where).
This episode needs some work. The shoplifting ring should be run out of the group home for problematic teen foster girls. As the first of the girls in the ring is aging out of the system the woman running the home offers to take her to a friend who has a studio apartment for rent. the girl is happy with the apartment until confronted by the landlord and the woman in their Wesen forms attacking and killing her. Due to a disagreement about splitting the girl's money the landlord does not dispose of the body well and it is discovered quickly. Since this involves foster girls is would be really personal to Truble. Nick is trying to keep her out of sight since he is trying to train her to go undercover into the GRIMM organization. While Nick and Hank talk with the woman Truble enters the group home and finds some of the places the girls involved in the ring are hiding their money. Given the amounts of money Truble has found Nick and Hank begin looking into criminal activities in the area arriving at an increase in shoplifting incidents. Truble sneaks out and hides in the vehicle of the woman when she brings a load of shoplifted items to the landlord. Nick and Hank make the connection between the landlord and the woman as brother and sister. Nick finds Truble at the landlord's and gets her out of there before they arrest the woman and the landlord. Evidence is found of the murder in the studio apartment. At the end we see a dying man with a key like Nick's.
