Nice collection. I started collecting VHS tapes not too long ago. Not sure what it is but collecting and watching VHS tapes is just so fun. I don't know why but I actually have more fun watching a VHS tape more than a DVD or blu ray. I think it's because of it's imperfect picture quality. Gets me nostalgic for my childhood days back in the 90s watching VHS movies on my big ass CRT TV. It's just comfy too. I have a somewhat small collection compared to this but I'm proud of it. Still on the hunt for some others I'm looking for.

The real collect, is horror movies from 1979, there were so many independent horror movies made , that never made it to dvd. I collect VHS movies also, you have every nice collection. I own three differ old VHS players, they do differ things, one, you can take VHS movie and transfer into DVD and also three DVD players. I collect both VHS and DVD's, I just love movies of all kinds. 😀

The horror corner VHS looks marvelous. With all of them faced out, it really feels like an old rental store. I like the rainbow Dawn. Watchers needs a good bluray or maybe box set. That is quite a collection - never enough room though is there?

I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of this VHS movie, The Butcher, i couldn't find anything on this movie anywhere on the internet.. weird, no date on movie, couldn't find that either. it called, "The Butcher" Premiere Entertainment International Ltd, Rare Horror
Is it worth collecting all these vhs tapes tho? I keep reading online that they begin to deteriorate after 10-15 years and eventually become unplayable. Just seems not worth it to me.. unless people collect them for the box and Artwork? Again for me I wouldn't be too keen if the tape itself doesn't work
@@thedaiglerreviews9460 Some information on Google when I was asking questions. Also some videos uploaded on UA-cam by people explaining how some of their tapes don't work anymore ect. That's positive news tho if yours continue to work after all these years! Maybe it has something to do with how you keep them? I actually ordered the scream trilogy (UK Versions) from ebay yesterday for a nice price. I haven't got a working VCR player anymore but hopefully I can find one sooner or later and try them out :) I will let you know how that goes
Ya I’ve always kept my movies in great condition, if u keep it in a box in a damp basement it might effect the film over time and maybe if you watch a vhs 200 times the film will get worn down. I always have a back up vcr just in case lol, you can find them cheap at garage sales👍👊
There’s some I still watch regularly because I don’t have a dvd or bluray copy like dr giggles or Jack the bear I still watch on vhs there’s some like the halloweens or Friday the 13th i don’t watch on vhs cause I upgraded but I have checked them all within the last 2 years and I lend some out to my friends once and a while, and a film like evil dead I prefer to watch on vhs the grainyness adds to the horror👍👊

I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of this VHS movie, The Butcher, i couldn't find anything on this movie anywhere on the internet.. weird, no date on movie, couldn't find that either. it called,

Is it worth collecting all these vhs tapes tho? I keep reading online that they begin to deteriorate after 10-15 years and eventually become unplayable. Just seems not worth it to me.. unless people collect them for the box and Artwork? Again for me I wouldn't be too keen if the tape itself doesn't work
Not sure who told you that but all my vhs still work and most are 30+ years old, if you keep them in good condition they’ll work just fine👍
@@thedaiglerreviews9460 Some information on Google when I was asking questions. Also some videos uploaded on UA-cam by people explaining how some of their tapes don't work anymore ect. That's positive news tho if yours continue to work after all these years! Maybe it has something to do with how you keep them? I actually ordered the scream trilogy (UK Versions) from ebay yesterday for a nice price. I haven't got a working VCR player anymore but hopefully I can find one sooner or later and try them out :) I will let you know how that goes
Ya I’ve always kept my movies in great condition, if u keep it in a box in a damp basement it might effect the film over time and maybe if you watch a vhs 200 times the film will get worn down. I always have a back up vcr just in case lol, you can find them cheap at garage sales👍👊

There’s some I still watch regularly because I don’t have a dvd or bluray copy like dr giggles or Jack the bear I still watch on vhs there’s some like the halloweens or Friday the 13th i don’t watch on vhs cause I upgraded but I have checked them all within the last 2 years and I lend some out to my friends once and a while, and a film like evil dead I prefer to watch on vhs the grainyness adds to the horror👍👊
