Hey ,having a car with all the safety features sounds like a plus. Having this around to air up a tire sounds like it is worth the money. Having to drive on a low tire can mess it up and cost more than 100 dollars .It is kind of like insurance, you hope you never have to use it but are glad to have it if you need it

I'll try to remember next time. :) I was at a campground a couple weeks ago, and someone needed a jump. I let him use my jump starter, and it worked great! I had a tire with a slow leak, and I used this often to air up the tire.
Bought one, charged it and the first time I really needed it, it did not work. So mad I spent money on it. Tow truck had to come and use his Booster Pac Brand and it started immediately. Dissapointed, tried calling the company and hung up after holding on 50 minutes. Being in Real Estate, a female and often out in odd places, this was supposed to give me peace of mind. DOES NOT WORK!!
I too ultimately had to try and jump my car with it, it failed... I was able to return it to Walmart and exchange it for a new one (same model) and so far it has worked pretty well... It sucks that they obviously don't have any quality standards.
I purchased an Everstart Maxx 1200 8 months ago used it twice, the battery won't hold a charge. Look at the online complaints from users, these units are garbage. Walmart will no do a warranty exchange and it's virtually impossible to contact Everstart.
I bought one this March along with an Everstart 400 watt inverter for recharging the jumper. Used all the features for 7 months without any problems before the jump start mode stopped working. I can hook up the cables then press START only to get the battery charge level and bars but no cable icons. The icons will appear if I set the cables wrong or after the motor is running. The Walmart store said it only had a 30 day warranty with them so contact the distributor/importer in Florida. They were closed so read reviews about them. Turned out they sell the same stuff with different brands names (Everstart, CAT, Stanley) and make their customers pay the cost of shipping both ways for warranty work. Those that had this top of line jumper had to pay $45 each way for repairs or replacement. Many complained about sending in their brand new jumper only to get one back that was beat up from prolonged use. A good number said they never got it back with the importer ignoring their calls about it. I did get a hold of their customer service to talk with an obnoxious older white woman. Told her that the jump start feature stopped working and everything else. She then said I screwed up the battery by using the inverter to recharge the battery since it puts out a different charge than an 110v wall outlet. Told her that's nonsense since the battery is taking a full charge of 14 volts between use as a jumper. She replied that's too high so the battery is ruined. Told her I had it down to 6 volts once and watched it charge up to 12 volts to 13 volts and on until it quit charging according to the bars at 14 volts. That made her say that I ruined the battery by draining the battery by using a USB port. All they would do would be to test the battery since it has a 2 year warranty and 90 days on everything else. They couldn't provide me with a wiring schematic that showed the various circuits so I thanked her for her assistance and hung up. I've been trying to keep it fully charged for 40 hours by using the inverter before trying it out on my old car battery. I was getting others to jump it off since I keep cables in the car but got tired of waiting so bought a new battery from Wally. I'd like to bypass the START switch and have the jumper cables powered all the time to make the jump feature usable again.
The wrecker driver used one to start my truck couple of weeks ago that had not been started in awhile. It made me want to buy one. Glad you did this review! I don’t know if I can use it on my SUV if ever needed… going to have to check. Would be nice to have with a power outage on charging phone.
Save yourself some money and time don't buy junk. About the same thing didn't even have it a year only used it like three or four times kept it charged and it will not hold a charge now it says it's charged plug your phone up like 2 minutes later is completely dead
And to be honest I wouldn't chance buying one of these Stanley jump packs because it basically the same thing with different stickers I mean they look the same they built the same I'm sure it's the same battery inside
I've had a Schumacher before and loved it my dad ended up getting the same one, but a certain family barrowed it without asking and never returned she said said she didn't know what happened to it..... So yeah hints why I ended up with the Neverstart junk. I bought what I thought was the best they had in stock, wanted another Schumacher like I had before. We used them everyday for a couple years.
I have an air compressor, but not like this one. Seems like a good buy for what you get but year, that outlet looks like you might pull it out some day. Like you said great for camping or something! Just bought one today.We live in a hurricane area and this will come in handy when power goes out or I leave lights on my car and get a dead battery.One thing I missed when we went through hurricane cat 5 Michael was keurig coffee even though we had Coleman gas stove percolator coffee I still prefer keurig drip.5 weeks no electricity only a gas generator and gas Coleman stove and two vehicles to charge mobile devices.
Good overall product BUT the little work light is a pain in the ass and was ALWAYS getting accidentally turned on. REMOVED. Second issue is this unit has a charging adapter. Whatever you do, don't lose the charger for the charger, you'll never find another one. AND Customer service SUCKS

Read the REVIEWS before buying one of these!!!! When they work, they're great. Unfortunately, they don't work for long.

It appears to be fully charged but it is not. The one i bought showed full bars but it was not full charged but did start out of box.
Mine started smoking while using the air compressor to fill my tire. Has anyone had that issue? I’m afraid to use it again.

I think they should make them with 4 gauge cables instead of 8 gauge just my opinion.
They're too greedy for that.

You my want to test that out, I don't believe that the max output could run a coffee maker.
