The MeToo movement managed to equate harassment with rape and assault, and then defined harassment as anything that makes someone uncomfortable. People now lose their jobs over asking someone out on a date or saying someone looks pretty.

The problem with Louie is that in some of the cases there was still a power imbalance where he could potentially ruin their careers etc.

There is such a thing as progress, but it is usually incremental - not absolute, "problem solved, move on"-type stuff, particularly with social/attitudinal problems. Hell, we have "awareness" about physical problems like climate change and people's "awareness" hasn't resulted in a solution.
Your view of progress is unrealistic and detached from reality...
Progress would be for us to embrace our biological roles within the greater organism known as humanity...

Me2 and feminism isnt about equal rights, it’s about power. That’s a line from the film full disclosure with Michael Douglas and Demi Moore. It was made in the 90s, but has a lot of relevance today.
There are so many problems with me2, too many to list. The good news is most people realize it’s a lot of nonesense regardless of how hard cnn and others try to push it on us.
Me2 was never a movement. It was the media calling it that over and over until it caught on. That’s all that’s happened. How many ways can we plug in the idea of a victim and oppressor without facts backing up allegations. That’s what me2 is.

Ironically, a metoo-activist herself is said to have sexually harassed/abused/assaulted (or whaterver the fuck it's called), someone, and that victim happen to be male, and underage. The hypocrisy is obvious and metoo didn't break with her. Women are excused doing things more so than men. I hate identity politics, and metoo is included in that category.
