One of the best things I did in Hoi An was attending the mesmerizing Hoi An Memories Show. It was an immersive experience that transported me back in time. Combining this with a stay at a nearby resort allowed me to fully immerse myself in the town's rich history.
Note for myself: 1. Hoi Ans Old Town 2. Japanese Bridge 3. My Son Ruins 4. Hoi An Night Market 5. Cham island 6. Latern Market 7. Hoi An Memories show 8. Tra Que vegetable village 9. Fujian assembly hall 10. Basket boats 11. Marbel Mountains (Da Nhang) Thank you for the tips!! Great video:))
You didn't mention the main thing Hoi An is famous for! Tailors! There are hundreds/thousands of tailors. They will measure you for a suit, a shirt, a skirt, coat, even a bikini and have it ready the next day, sometimes just a few hours later! Any style, any fabric, really cheap. It's incredible. They will also post it home. I've re-newed my entire wardrobe!
Experiencing the lively Sweet Candy Festival was an absolute highlight. The festival was a burst of colors and flavors, offering a range of delightful treats. It's a must-do activity that added a unique twist to my time in Hoi An.
One of the top activities during my stay was witnessing the breathtaking Hoi An Memories Show. This immersive experience brought history to life. Combining this with my stay at a resort in the heart of Hoi An made it a well-rounded and memorable journey.
Hoi An is a food lover's paradise. In addition to its cultural attractions, I had the pleasure of attending the lively Sweet Candy Festival. Moreover, the delectable offerings at Nón Lá Restaurant, representing the country's three culinary regions, took my taste buds on an unforgettable journey.
Note to self: Hoi An Memories Show Fujien Assembly Hall (8-6am) Basket boat ride in Cambodia Thanh Coconut Village Da Nang (see same youtuber's Da Nang video)
Videos like your's will overcrowd these historical sites. It's terrible to see so many tourists there distroying the site. STOP producing such films. Thanks
Though the landscape is beautiful, the mentality of the people makes it a third world slum. Indiscriminate littering, scamming and stealing make Vietnam a slum country for generations to come. Sad.

So informative.. Thanks
Thanks for the advice!
Thank you! The Japanese bridge is under reconstruction now, unfortunately
Thanks for the update!
Renovating, not rebuilding. Renovation still keeps all the old of the bridge
It is an ancient bridge, only repaired and no one rebuilt
The bridge is not visible anymore unfortunately. 😢
