When you two retire it would be so cool if you had a travel group! So many of us would love to travel with you. I love NYC and would love to go back with people like you who know all the best places to eat. We have just discovered you on UA-cam and you're making life during this pandemic bearable.
Wow I went to school one block away from Scarrs Pizza at 7:27 on this video at P.S. 42. I can't believe you were there !! I lived there in the lower east side of Manhattan my entire childhood. Then at 8:37 right behind you on the other side of the street is where I used to work for Smith Barney years ago before they moved, right next to the Hilton Hotel. OMG !! P.S. At Wah Fung No.1 you said you wanted the BBQ pork but you ended up with the duck instead. You should have ordered the combo dish that has pork, chicken and duck. Oh well, maybe next time.
Hey Bill and Lisa that hotel you stayed at shown at 2:09 is next to the Manhattan Bridge. City Hall where the NYC mayor works is right behind your hotel and the court where TVs Martha Stewart and mafia boss Al Capone from the 1940s were both in court trials and convicted in the court that is on the same block of your hotel !!
I'm so glad you guys were able to go to shake shack ..do you know that that line is usually so long they have an app for your phone where you can check and see how long the line is to see if you dare to get in it that's how popular it is and of all the burgers that are so delicious here in Las Vegas shake shack is still my favorite it doesn't look like much but it's very filling and the fries with the cheese on them are wonderful to I'm not sure if you guys got cheese next time definitely get that.. and they also have a portobello mushroom burger with cheese in the middle and you take a bite and its cheese just oozes out it is so delicious.. also next time you're in Vegas if you go to Naked City Pizza they have a square pizza... Is expensive because it was on the food Network but it's really really good, it's inside of a bar at spring mountain near Decatur I think
absolutely correct I worked at the MGM and they have a Nathan's there and I would go and get just an order of fries they're so delicious and they hand make their honey mustard dipping sauce too... Bill that means they make it by hand 😂🤣😂🤣😂
Hey guys! I've watched your Vegas and cruise videos and was so excited to see that you have NYC videos as well! I'm hoping to plan a weekend trip soon, can you recommend some hotels? It's a little overwhelming to figure out a convenient area to stay that is also affordable, I will also have my 11 year old daughter so somewhere safe and child friendly too. Help! Lol!
Hi Brittany! We usually stay in the Lower East Side (Chinatown) area. For us, it's close to the subways and great food. When we went this past time during Christmas, we stayed in Times Square, just a block away from all the action. We felt safe, stayed in the touristy areas, just a few aggressive street sellers that you just politely say no thank you and keep walking (unless of course you're interested in that product). Midweek hotel stays will always be cheaper than weekends so keep that in mind. Have a great time when you and your daughter go!
Love your videos! Growing up in Northridge, Ca we ate pizza at Morigis pizza on Reseda Blvd. It became the pizza against which all others were compared. I can still remember the smell.....(sigh). Anyway next time in Vegas I recommend Studio B buffet at M resort!
I grew up in Canoga Park and I miss a lot of the places to eat in the valley that aren't there anymore whenever I go back I always have to go to Cupid's hot dogs that was the best ever there's only a couple left 🌭🌭🌭
Bill and Lisa do you guys like yaki s oba and gyoza i never seen you guys eat yakisoba why dont people. Go to okinawa too expensive..love your las vegas trips and hotels...love your voice. Bless you
I grew up in nyc and moved to Houston in 2000. Tomorrow wife and I traveling to nyc(6 days) to visit family and act like tourists...lol I copied list of the places you visited. Thanks. How was the weather?
That bagel with the smoked salmon would have been more than twice as much in Vegas and not nearly as good. Next time you are in Vegas, go to the Mirage and review the "Bagelicious" from the Carnegie Deli. It's 29.99 and basically what you had without the fresh "pick your own flavor" Lox.
Did you try Totonno's Pizza on Neptune Ave. in Coney Island? Also famous for best pizza by Food Network, James Beard, food celebrities and critics, etc. Founded in 1924.
I can not put in words how hungry you have made me for pizza. Ordering now. On a different note, noticed people wearing coats other than yourselves. Maybe give a short temp report when making your vlog. ty jmo
Sorry for the pizza cravings, Jerome! lol Yes, we could've dressed more warmer for sure, but we only carry backpacks for our travel. Coming from New Orleans the day before in the low 80's, it just wasn't practical to lug around winter jackets, so we roughed it in our zippered hoodies. lol
did you notice when they were in Coney island there was a place called Paul's daughter maybe they're trying to get people confused and get Russ and daughters business LOL
Agh, you put ketchup on your hotdog so I have to grade this a 98.5/100. //The best part of the corn dog is the bottom where the fried batter meets the stick. If you ever get a chance to go on the Wonder Wheel, do the inside cars, not the outside (there are two options). //18:01 Flat Iron Builiding, 3 years ago I made cab driver stop and wait 2 minutes so I could run and touch the Flat Iron Building and go back in car (so I can say I've been there lol). Have a great long weekend.
I think Halal is way overrated. White sauce is forgettable, and their hot sauce has no flavor... just hot for the sake of being hot. Good sized portions, however.
I just found your channel the other day when I was looking for Hells Kitchen Lake Tahoe and I haven't stopped watching since I found you
Welcome to our channel! Lots more food and travel videos to come, stay tuned!

Thanks so much for watching, Stephanie!
I like this couple! They seem so nice and they are perfect for each other!
Lots of good food ! Love you guys
You guys are so awesome. It's like I get to enjoy your adventures with you, so thank you for bringing me along.
Anytime Trista & Madi! So happy to share our adventures!
So jealous! I live vicariously through you two!
You two are a step above everyone else, I love that you get lots of different varieties. You should have a lot more subs than you do.
Subscribed not because of the places you visit, but because you guys are such a great couple! You guys seem like the best of friends ☺️❤️
Excellent footage of New York.
Thanks Apple!
I on;y found your page a day or so ago and I must have gone through 15 of your videos already. I can't get enough. You are both fun and informative.
Thanks Craig!
I love coming along with you guys. Fun times, and delicious food!
Like the addition of the hotel room tour.
Something new, glad you like it!
Great view!!!! Score... making me hungry.. love the views of the area. Thanks.
Thanks Candyce!

Welcome to NYC. New to the vlog but we live in NYC. Hope you enjoyed our city!!
We had a great time in NYC! A foodies city!! Look forward to visiting again soon!
The fries at Nathan’s are delicious too!

blog loLOVING the Videos.
Spicy Village is awesome!! Great choice. Their big tray of chicken is delicious
Would love to try out their other dishes!
I appreciate you guys love the channel
Wah Fung No 1!! One of the best values in the city. Roast pig with crispy skin, roast duck, roast pork and that ginger scallion sauce!
Agreed! Wah Fung No 1 is the best deal in Chinatown!
Bill & Lisa Hala Guys I have has in Las Vegas in Caesars Palace its AWESOME!!!!! New York luv it!!!!!!!! great vlog Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!
We saw the Halal in Caesars, now we'll have to try it!
Come to Montreal Canada, we have amazing foods from real bagels, poutine and many various restaurants , you would definitely enjoy
I am so jealous! ❤️

Heard good things about the buffet at the M, thanks for the recommendation, Jo!

I loved china town in New York amazing food
So the first 2 pizza places you did not say whether you liked it or not. Nor did you talk about the third. Why?
Hello, nice video blog about Beautiful #NYC... can you share the rate how much you paid for the hotel next to Manhattan bridge ?
What is the bagel store called ? I love corn dog 😁
Russ and Daughters
I grew up in nyc and moved to Houston in 2000. Tomorrow wife and I traveling to nyc(6 days) to visit family and act like tourists...lol I copied list of the places you visited. Thanks. How was the weather?
Weather on the cool side, 50's... cold for us SoCal folks. lol
I think they closed the Carnegie deli recently
Did you try Totonno's Pizza on Neptune Ave. in Coney Island? Also famous for best pizza by Food Network, James Beard, food celebrities and critics, etc. Founded in 1924.
It was on our list to try, but closed on Wednesday, the day we were there. =(
@@billandlisa Bummer.
Minnie C. Thought of that too when seeing Coney Island. Went once many years ago, but have been meaning to go back
I can not put in words how hungry you have made me for pizza. Ordering now. On a different note, noticed people wearing coats other than yourselves. Maybe give a short temp report when making your vlog. ty jmo

@@billandlisa yes but i thought you just might say it is a low 60s here or a fridged 40s etc. jmo
Best corndog I’ve ever had is at Disneyland.
Their corndogs are pretty good!
I hope to see you guys try the pizza in Rome and Naples.
We'll eventually make it to Italy!
Bill thinks he is slick....wanted some Nathans lol
Russ & Daughters - an NYC institution!
Agreed! Bit pricey, but sooo good!
did you notice when they were in Coney island there was a place called Paul's daughter maybe they're trying to get people confused and get Russ and daughters business LOL
You guys always get 2 beds. Nice and comphy
That's because it's the cheaper of bedding options and we have one bed to put our stuff on. lol

Name of hotel?
Leon hotel
Thanks James. In the LES, Chinatown.
Appreciate it James! Thks...nice
💖💞💕😍💞💖💕
Thanks Vonda!
Nathan's is over rated, nothing beats a grilled Dodger dog...
Maybe, but it was pretty cool having a Nathan's at Coney Island. =) That said, go Dodgers!
I think Halal is way overrated. White sauce is forgettable, and their hot sauce has no flavor... just hot for the sake of being hot. Good sized portions, however.
Kay Flip I know... I was referring to Halal Guys.
We have a halal guys here in Vegas ,but I've never been to it might try it sometime
