Speaking of food halls, check out The Hugh next time which opened last year. You were just around the corner from it when you went to Ess-a-Bagel. Thank you for another wonderful video. I am heading to NYC for Christmas (my daughter lives in Williamsburg) so the timing of this one is perfect for me. NYC at Christmastime is magical! I moved to Boston recently from LA and one benefit is being closer to NY which is awesome. I love your LA videos although they make me a bit homesick...Your content is always so good and you two obviously have fun and it is infectious. On a side note, my son and I met Lisa at Downtown Disney this summer right before we moved and she was so nice and it was great to meet her!! We are heading to Las Vegas in Feb so watching those videos is terrific for tips and places to eat.

Yum, next time consider ordering a knishwich …knish sliced in half stuffed with pastrami, mustard is the condiment of choice and elevates a pastrami sandwich, can be ordered as a Ruben as well…Sarges is not under the radar with New Yorkers, and their pastrami is preferred by many. Glad you tried it. Consider hopping on a metro north train when in NY to check out some of the River Towns, Rhinebeck is enchanting at Christmas time, there’s the Culinary Institute of America (need reservations for restaurants in advance) in Hyde Park and and Red Hook just north of Rhinebeck …all wonderful and historic Thanks for bringing us along on your adventures

I love my bagels toasted and that is one of my favorites with the lox, another is toasted everything with Taylor ham and yellow American Cheese.

It’s part of my surprise we are trying to get Phantom of the Opera tickets since I found out the Broadway show will be ending on Broadway. So I have a whole page of places to eat already…going to find all the Mom and Pop old places to eat. But we will extend our trip another 2-3 days to explore the city…CA girl here does not own a snow jacket…lol! What an amazing NYC adventure! It’s been years since I’ve been to NY, I really need to go back and experience it esp at Christmas time! That pastrami sandwich looks super legit, so yummy! This video made me want to get out and at least go to the mall and downtown Fort Worth, TX where I'm from to see the lights etc...I literally purchase everything online and work from home. I don't really like being around too many people unless I'm actually on vacation. Funny Hawaii and Las Vegas is very comfortable for me regardless of the crowd.

I know I'm late to this one also as I'm going through the 2.2 million videos you guys have :D But as a New Yorker living in Florida (ugh) this brings back so many memories to watch. First off, I don't care if Joe's Pizza is a tourist trap (because it is) but the pizza is damn good (usually, sometimes if it sits it gets soggy/hard and it's meh) and their sicilian pieces are really good. Secondly, that new "hawker" area and mini-market area are awesome to see! Obviously, since I moved to Florida in 1998, none of that was there. Macy's is iconic. As are places like the Krispy Kreme and Radio City and, oh man I could keep going. I still remember the first year we went to see the Rockerfeller tree lit up, I think it was 1982 or something - and it was just after a snowstorm. It was SO beautiful.

I’ve always wanted to go to New York City, I see so many videos on UA-cam and note all the great food trucks that there are there. New York looks beaueprkl at night time, I hope to go,there one day.
if you are thinking of visiting Hawaii to watch the volcano make sure you bring warm clothes because it gets cold up there and prepare for a lot of traffic and people up there. An idea is to take the road to Mauna Kea visitor center and watch the volcano from there much better view from there. You can get information at USGS Hawaii Volcano Observatory or road condition at Hawaii County Civil Defense.
Been a little down as this is the first holiday without my Mom. Thank you for helping us get into some holiday spirit. New York is a bucket list city for me. Maybe next year for the holidays. It is so beautiful this time of year. You are near the Winter Garden Theater!!! May have to stay at that hotel and see a show. Music Man is playing there now with Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster. Go see the show then go have a drink at the rooftop bar. Getting some ideas for my 1st trip. Re: the bagels being cut 60/40 vs 1/2. Thinking it gives you the option to eat 40 portion as a snack and the 60 portion as a meal. Another long video but it didn't seem that long. It just flew by. Can't wait to see the other videos. I’m a native New Yorker who resides in Brooklyn and one thing I love to do with my sister is to go into the city and see all the beautiful lights and decorated department stores, Rock center, St Patrick’s cathedral and have a great meal. Halal Guys and Ess-A-Bagel have been on my forever bucket list…but this CA girl may be going on her first trip to NY not for New Years Eve though but something more special. It’s part of my surprise we are trying to get Phantom of the Opera tickets since I found out the Broadway show will be ending on Broadway. So I have a whole page of places to eat already…going to find all the Mom and Pop old places to eat. But we will extend our trip another 2-3 days to explore the city…CA girl here does not own a snow jacket…lol! How do you pack a snow clothes in a carry on? 😂😢extra luggage needed…😅Going in Jan or Feb…only the coldest time ever there. Thank you for sharing! Take care and be safe!

What an amazing NYC adventure! It’s been years since I’ve been to NY, I really need to go back and experience it esp at Christmas time! That pastrami sandwich looks super legit, so yummy! Thanks so much for posting. I didn't want to go anywhere this year. This video made me want to get out and at least go to the mall and downtown Fort Worth, TX where I'm from to see the lights etc...I literally purchase everything online and work from home. I don't really like being around too many people unless I'm actually on vacation. Funny Hawaii and Las Vegas is very comfortable for me regardless of the crowd.

I know I'm late to this one also as I'm going through the 2.2 million videos you guys have :D But as a New Yorker living in Florida (ugh) this brings back so many memories to watch. First off, I don't care if Joe's Pizza is a tourist trap (because it is) but the pizza is damn good (usually, sometimes if it sits it gets soggy/hard and it's meh) and their sicilian pieces are really good. Secondly, that new "hawker" area and mini-market area are awesome to see! Obviously, since I moved to Florida in 1998, none of that was there. Macy's is iconic. As are places like the Krispy Kreme and Radio City and, oh man I could keep going. I still remember the first year we went to see the Rockerfeller tree lit up, I think it was 1982 or something - and it was just after a snowstorm. It was SO beautiful.
Thanks for watching this! We really want to go back to NYC this year for the Christmas Market at Bryant Park. Really depends on open seats since we fly stand-by.

I’ve always wanted to go to New York City, I see so many videos on UA-cam and note all the great food trucks that there are there. New York looks beaueprkl at night time, I hope to go,there one day.

if you are thinking of visiting Hawaii to watch the volcano make sure you bring warm clothes because it gets cold up there and prepare for a lot of traffic and people up there. An idea is to take the road to Mauna Kea visitor center and watch the volcano from there much better view from there. You can get information at USGS Hawaii Volcano Observatory or road condition at Hawaii County Civil Defense.

Been a little down as this is the first holiday without my Mom. Thank you for helping us get into some holiday spirit. New York is a bucket list city for me. Maybe next year for the holidays. It is so beautiful this time of year.
You are near the Winter Garden Theater!!! May have to stay at that hotel and see a show. Music Man is playing there now with Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster. Go see the show then go have a drink at the rooftop bar. Getting some ideas for my 1st trip.
Re: the bagels being cut 60/40 vs 1/2. Thinking it gives you the option to eat 40 portion as a snack and the 60 portion as a meal.
