    Chris. Nice review. But if you’re looking for a little more distance from your wall. Add a 2x4 behind the bar, attach 2x4 to wall first.

      Hey Jeff where can I buy a 2x4 at? Not familiar with it but I’d like to purchase this pull-up bar for my basement but I’d like more room

    I live in a 116 year old apartment building. Wanted something that’s renter friendly and can be patched when I move out. It’s either something like this or a door frame type. Any suggestions?

    Def a great review. And helps in my decision. Me personally i dont would mount the same as you did. I will say that con2 can also be a pro bc it does force you to do strict pullups which for me is a benefit. All in all great job

    How far do you think it would need to stick out more from the wall for your legs/body too not rub up and down the wall? Great video mate👍

    This looks amazing, too bad I live in a third world country that doesn't ship premium products.
    100 bucks for this bar is quite a bargain in my opinion.

    Chris - what is the distance from the bottom of the rack (bottom edge of the bracket that is fastened to the wall) to the top of the pull-up bar itself? I have 15" from the ceiling to the bottom stud and want to make sure I won't hit my head on the ceiling. Great video - thank you! Bob

    I didn't see the rogue video explaining how to put it up. What tool or tools do you need to put it up?

    Question for you:
    Does your Jammer pull up bar flex at all when using it? I have one and I find that the there is some flex in the actual bar itself.

    • @ChrisPinedo
      @ChrisPinedo  3 роки тому +2

      No flex on my jammer pull up bar. You may want to contact rogue or double check that you assembled it correctly!

      Mine is rock solid. No flex. 170lbs and I am not gentle with it.

    I have one. Built like a tank, it fell and almost put a hole in my wall... that’s not an exaggeration, it hit my wall outlet and destroyed it.
    My only complain is that the bar is too thin and feels like it’s cutting into my hand. I prefer the standard 1.25” pull-up bar rogue uses on racks over this one.

    • @ChrisPinedo
      @ChrisPinedo  3 роки тому +2

      It's built like a tank for sure. LOL be careful now.

      Did it fall off the wall?? Or did it fall when you were trying to install it? My place doesn't have trim around my doors so I'm trying to figure out if I can install on still.
      The main thing I'm nervous of is it ripping out of the wall when I'm doing pullups

    Did you get a textured or gloss bar? Does it matter?

    • @ChrisPinedo
      @ChrisPinedo  3 роки тому +2

      I got the textured bar because I like the feel of it. I feel like you get a better grip and it looks better IMO but up to you. Doesn't make a HUGE difference.
