Lot of vegas coming your way, great content 👌
hi how can i find the short on voltage rail i think mine has that problem it works but when i install drivers screen goes black and pc restarts
I’m leaving the comment here because it refers to this card. I’m getting Zero Ohms from the back 5v LDL I’m currently looking up what exactly this means since the front 5v LDL is 3.5 when tested for resistance. No power shorts
When holding the card in the same manner as the video shows with the three ldl prongs on top, the left most prong and transistor don’t sound during continuity testing but the middle prong to the right transistor does sound off and beep
Seems to be the 1st foot in on the 5v LDL is connecting when it shouldn’t? Beeping during continuity mode
GREETINGS CAN YOU INDICATE ME WHAT IS THE CHIP CODE U201 OF THE RX VEGA 64
Messaged this guy a million times. Been two weeks. No reply.
Did you check your spam folder?. I replied to all your Radeon VII repair requests.
@@TechCemetery nothing shows, i will email you again with a different email
Once again, a comprehensive step to fix a graphic cards...i ever did the same thing with old Gigabyte R9 290. There was no voltage on memory controler, and after changing the resistor near driver memory controller, the card alive again..
Thanks
Now it is 5k maximum resolution ,we can clearly saw it on zoom .You are great Tech cemetery deserving a million subs!
Great job. I have a pity vega64 card like you. I would like to understand what you are saying and what you have been done. May I know where to start with? Any advice?
Good job techie. This seems to make this card whole again. It could have a lot more work making the hot point fall to sixty degrees thus making the card last and last. If my personal card I would do this to improve it's ability to last. But good work techie for straightening out Eli's card.
Hi friend, I have a question, I have a sapphire nitro+ radeon rx vega 56 graphics card, but there is a component that says AEAH 018 but I try to find it and I can't find it, I need to measure the pins to validate that the correct voltage is input, don't worry come across something similar?
Your videos are incredible, greetings from Costa Rica!
I was thinking about dead core... Looks like I have hope, until it get artifacts and core 43...
Looks like there are more rails to be observed other than the 0.900V rails
okay i did the same thing you did. 12v didn't beep not on the 3rd but the 4th, on the 3.3 volt the 4th didn't beep but the 5th did.... so what does that mean? but i get power and it detect the cards in window, fan spin, cards heats up.. just black screen
sir, 3,3volt in row 4 pci port, where this part in board for check? because my vega 56 short in 3,3volt. thanks for your help.
Its hilarious that I watch most videos on UA-cam at 1.2 to 1.5 play speed because people talk so frikkin slow to be able to get a video over 10 mins.......this guy talks like he's on fast forward naturally.
does anyone have something similar? I have all the correct voltages, it seems to me 1.2v for the memories, .900 for the VRM, 1.8v, 5v, 12v even the core gets hot, but it is still not detected by windows
Hi, I have a vega 64 with a short on 0.8v inductor. I removed the mosfet, inductor and large capacitor but the right pad of the inductor (gpu side) reads 0 ohms. Would that be a dead core?
Just beginning to learn repairs. Rx 580 when plugged in the core gets really hot pretty soon. I’m assuming a short in the core. Any comments of knowledge appreciated.
Hi, great video! A question: I have an Asrock Radeon Vega 64 which doesn't give any image, in the measurements all its sources and regulators are working (measured with an oscilloscope) but some of the core's sources DO NOT pulse in their buck, others do. And after 15 seconds, all sources except 5V, 12V and 3V are deactivated. Any advice?
On the motherboard it shows a code "97"
i'm not a technician but i love how this guy explains everything.
if the pex rail is shorted to gnd , like really low R to gnd but still works ? when powered up it gives 0.8V what do i do? all other rails are fine
How do you know the component values and correct resistances when measuring the rails? Do you have an identical and working video card for comparison?
He's worked on lots of cards, so most likely he's had others to compare. If not, he can also check with other folks who work on cards as well.
Display rail is not showing any voltage. What is next 😳?
Very well explained analisys failure ! :)
Pardon me?
Sent a request for repair for mine 🙂
Hi , very interesting videos. thank you. i've some issue with a vega sapphire 64 nitro+, i've checked the two indoctors wih are close to the pcie power, one of the seems to send 12v and the second one just 0.8v, i don't know if it's normal or nor. my card don't even boot and not detected by the motherboard. Thanks
Normal, you should check the other inductors. I have other Vega videos.
after using MATs the report show me this
Read Error Count: 0
Write Error Count: 33
Unknown Error Count: 0
Failing Bits:
B000 B001 B002 B003 B004 B005 B006 B007 B008 B009 B010 B011 B012 B013 B014 B015
its normal or i have to change my b0 memory?
anyway my gpu crash sometimes and after restart resolution stuck in 640x480 and windows cannot recognise gpu driver
sadly im living in iran and i cant send u my gpu :(
33 errors is a known software fault. MATs doesn't tell you anything in this case.
@@TechCemetery thanks for respond
Thanks for this video, it's really informative. I have a faulty Vega 56 card here and I checked it following your video. The core and HBM receives no voltages at all when plugged into a PC. When I checked for continuity, the APL78L05 was shorted and the IR3598 was blown. I hope that I can get this card fixed soon.
Did you fix it?
@@level8473No, I haven't gotten both of them fixed yet but I would probably try getting them both fixed.
@@NikkoRelox1999 Where are you located, maybe I can fix them, should be a pretty simple fix
Hello Tech Cemetery! I have a dead RX 580 8gb, When I power the card on I get no display output but the core becomes warm, when I measure the resistance between ground and the inductors I get 0 ohm, does that mean the chip is dead or how could I repair it? do you have any ideas? Thanks!
The resistance of the core is very very low, 0 ohms is the expected value for an RX 580 if using a cheap multimeter.
@@TechCemetery then what could I check next
@@TechCemetery do you have discord, then I can contact you on that, your discord link is invalid
@@TechCemetery I will send you some crypto if you can help me bring this card back to life :)
Wooow. excellent informative video. thanks for great explanation of the fundamentals of the electronics. best regards.
Brilliant
Díky!
Hi everyone, i need a help about sapphire rx560 4gb. Card working but, when measure with oscilascope gpu inductor pwm shaking. There re no clear shape and not stable. Card has rt8880c and mosfets driving by it there is no buck converter. Rt8880c has 5v vcc, 2v enable and 3.3powerok. And they re stable. İs there any short circuit to parasite?
Hello, can you share how we can find out if a memory has burned out or is working? How to test Memory DDR5 from RX 580 8GB, Hinyx. I have a few downloaded memories from video cards, some are working but others are burned, I want to know who are working. thanks
YES THE GREAT GPU DOCTOR ACKNOWLEDGE ANOTHER GREAT GPU DOCTOR! Tech Cemetery know about Eli Tech channel😁 Still sad that Eli no longer active.
anyways
Great video man! Where did you find the pcb schematic for this card? My reference saphire vega 64 is randomly black screening and failing to start more often than not and i have a feeling its power related.
So you accept repair shipment from Israel now
very good job I hope that you making theoric explanation about values supposed to test to be reference for me please on paper
I don't know why but the close up of the cap in the tweezers made me laugh. Great troubleshooting as always.
hi Tech Cemetery, where can i buy parts like resistor , capasitor or driver ?
it's like you're in Las Vegas! hahahaha, I hope you only have good memories
I am guessing if that cap is a common problem it may have been rated at too low a voltage. Providing physical size does not become a problem fit the highest voltage possible and it may prevent the same thing happening a few years down the line.
love your work! good explanation, and now we can see with your microscop
Excellent video for the repair community
Very good explanation, your videos are very enjoyable, hope you continue making them.
Awsome as allways keep them videos coming ❤️ 💯
lol, half of the vegas that they sold is already broken
Love the new pov camera
great work .... but damn are you taking double shots of espresso? your speaking so fast that I have a hard time understanding you
Play the video @.5x speed. I played it @.75x speed.
I like it lol for me when people talk slow I lose focus pretty fast
this channel is the only channel i watch that i dont speed up the videos. great pace!
Good morning. How you can manage to get so much information (e. g. voltages and resistances in every coil, what coil does what e.t.c.), for every card you are dealing with ???
With a lot of pain and patience.
very nice new cam and microscopic too !
you definitely deserve more subs
Hotspot of 100C 😂
Great job !!
this fellow fixed my vega 64, was just a fan controller or something apparently, but he got it up and running again for me for a good price & quickly as well. has been mining ever since i got it back. thanks again buddy. a+++++ rating
