I'm from Manila, Philippines, not Cebu, but I bought a small one today for 100 pesos or less than $2! Excited to get it. It will look like a monstera deliciosa when it matures.
I have been dying over this plant for over a year now, but they are soooo hard to get your hands on in australia. This video could not be better timed though because I finally bought one a couple of days ago! So excited for it to arrive so I can start growing it up a pole too !
Cebu blue is pretty hard to come by in the UK but I finally managed to get a cutting a few weeks ago that wasn’t a crazy price. It’s already one of my favourite plants 🪴💙
I recently purchased a Cebu from Walmart and the leaves were completely yellow and the plant was root bound. Now it’s repotted and tucked away in my low light room for rehab.
I’m still wondering why this plant isn’t readily available. Like you said it grows extremely fast and is very easy to propagate. There most be some grower that is mass producing this right? I happened to find one at Walmart about two years ago but haven’t saw them since. Two measly cutting of this plant is so expensive it’s shocking. The horror of online plant shopping 😔
Costa farms grows it but there's some reason they haven't produced many. I really don't think they grow that fast. I have cuttings that put out one new leaf and nothing for several months.
nice cebu blue's you have! The bluish colour actually fades into more green the maturer the leaf gets (so when you let it climb) .. not depending on the amount of light.
Cebu blue is a bit hard to find an Ontario London but I have one that put out a couple sets of leaves since I got it and very interesting to see the colour when you look at it against the regular process. It is blue Ash.
I found one today in a Kroger gro store for $13 and was so happy and shocked because they are very hard to find here and expensive also. So I hit the jackpot on this one.
/seh-BOO/ with stress on the last syllable I bought my Cebu Blue in 2019 for the insane price of 1,500 pesos (about 26 US Dollars) which is expensive for a plant that's endemic to my country. It has now grown huge. I noticed that its silvery bluish hue pops when grown with bright indirect light. I prefer pothos plants like Cebu Blue grown as bushy trailing in hanging pots than climbers but I am now propagating some cuttings to fenestrate on climbing planks.
I was lucky enough to get an 8" hanging basket for $13.96 in 2019 it loves to be in a North facing window. I have had great success with propagation. This is one of my favorites as well.
Nice video thankyou wildfern👍 i got a cebu blue in the uk before christmas, ive allready given cuttings away to a friend. I'm growing mine up a wooden panel the ariel roots stick to the timber really well! Its attaching much more readily than the micans which still requires sticky tape

Are you still a private investigator? Did you ever get back with that older news journalist?
