    /seh-BOO/ with stress on the last syllable
    I bought my Cebu Blue in 2019 for the insane price of 1,500 pesos (about 26 US Dollars) which is expensive for a plant that's endemic to my country. It has now grown huge. I noticed that its silvery bluish hue pops when grown with bright indirect light. I prefer pothos plants like Cebu Blue grown as bushy trailing in hanging pots than climbers but I am now propagating some cuttings to fenestrate on climbing planks.

    Such a cool plant, great video!
    Also I'm asking for help with a plant, I have a red maranta and it grows extremely fast, too fast. When I first got it not even a month later it needed to be repotted. Even the cuttings root very very quickly. I recently had to throw out the plant because it had a terrible fungus gnat infestation and I found out it was very root bound and had starting growing three whole new plants in the soil. But these plants dont look normal, two if them are all white and the biggest one has a white stem with faded white leaves. I had noticed it started growing darker tiny stems and tiny leaves with a root outside the plant. The plant looks healthy tho. If anyone knows what might be happening please help! Thank you!

    @wildfern....How wonderful that you have two beautiful Cebu Blues from cuttings! I am just starting to grow a 4-ich Cebu Blue. My problem is that I am too heavy-handed with watering. So, although I prefer plastic pots so that I can hang them, I did kill some cuttings a friend sent to me by over-watering. (So sad but I got over it). Now, I am trying to grow one in a Terra-cotta pot. However, today I noticed three limp yellow leaves on my small Cebu Blue, which made me sad. I am looking forward to the day when I can have a full one like yours! Do you think it is a good idea to keep it in a Terra-Cotta pot? I use a well-draining mix that includes Orchard Bark and Perlite, and I keep in about 3 feet from a South-facing glass Patio door. Any suggestions to help mine to grow more healthy? Thanks so much!

    I just got a marble queen pothos from Home Depot and it was left in the car while running errands. It was in the sun and it was hot so it got brown and it looks sad. It a little better now but any tips? I just want my new baby to be better again. 😢💗

    I think its Sea Boo Blue. Its named after the Philippines city, so however they pronounce it is proper name for the plant.

    • @starkprincess9906
      @starkprincess9906 2 роки тому +2

      We don’t pronounce it as “Sea boo” here in the Philippines. We pronounce it as se-boo, the same way you pronounce the first syllable in ‘sentry’ or ‘seldom’.

      If you let it trail up, leaves grow bigger then fenestrate as they mature.

    Cebu is in the Philippines. So there is a correct and incorrect pronunciation. Kind of like the word "mukbang" that is commonly mispronounced

    I have a young golden pothos at work that has really taken off. I've been told (and know) I need to cut it's long vine and propagate it. It's just so beautiful and consistent with it's growth, I'm hesitant to do so. Will taking cuttings change the growth pattern of the existing vine? Or will it continue to grow strong and regularly in the same beautiful pattern?

    • @jimicook86
      @jimicook86 3 роки тому

      It will continue to grow the same way! It is very good for plants to be trimmed because it encourages new growth and will make the plant look better and healthier:)
