Rhodey deserves to be treated better in the MCU.
No offense for the actor, but there were so many guys who could portray a better Rhodey than him. This guy seems so fragile and skinny and old, that's not the Rhodey I know.
Especially if you go by the comics he does appear to be more built or bulkier.
Secret invasion really mess things up glad this happened.
So for me this deleted scene means Rhodey doesn't get taken until after Endgame which means the Rhodey at the funeral for Tony is James Rhodes.

Rhodey is still wearing the braces at the funeral, and if the Skrulls were already planning the takeover before Endgame, why would they have given Fury the dna samples they collected after the Battle? It makes much more sense that when they decided to do it, they just replaced Rhodey's Dr, and had him come in for the "upgraded procedure". He gets put under, and the expected time for it is plenty to replace him, thus he is in the hospital gown. Besides, if they had him on sedatives in that highly radioactive zone for the YEARS since Civil War, he would have died from radiation poisoning long ago.
It was after endgame. When thanos blew up the headquarters the first time rhodey had to get out his suit and he was damn near crawling.

A celestial that size popping out of the earth and not being dealt with immediately would cause unbelievable & cataclysm style changes in the rotation & weather across the globe let alone waiting months/years. Superpowered beings and gods teaming up for multiple earth saving events is more believable than that entire scenario.

@bigchungus7050 yeah man, take 1 billion tons of earth's insides & turn them into a celestial then have it claw it's way to the surface creating a massive vacuum collapsing another 2billion tons of the earth. After all that, try staying on a 24hr rotation let alone stay in elliptical orbit around the sun while gently holding a moon at the perfect distance to not toss it away or have it crash into the remaining 2.97 billion tons of watch that's still left.

So the way I see it is that War machine was going to hospital to check his spine after the events of Endgame and then thats when the skrulls saw a perfect opportunity to replace now that the only person who can actually tell that War machine wasn't himself is gone. Because let's face it Tony in some shape or form would of figured out Rhodes was a skrull.

That whole show should have been shelved. I'ma try and re watch with some beers but idk seemed pretty bad. them super scrolls tho 😂.
I think it'd be cool if we find out later that the shield that Old Man Steve gave Sam at the end of Endgame was reforged with Proto-Adamantium in addition to Vibranium or some spin like that, because it hasn't been acknowledged yet how it was fixed after Thanos shattered it.

@@emergencyawesome How would you work with a metal that absorbs energy and just forgets about it? If you tried heating it, it would just suck up all the heat and the fire would go out. You can't hammer it into shape. It wouldn't melt so you couldn't cast it. If you threw it at something, it would absorb the energy of the impact and just fall dead. Cap's shield couldn't carom off three objects and strike a target, it wouldn't bounce at all.
Adamantium was just tank armor developed for WW2 by the US.

Iron Man went off the rails when they put in nanotechnology. The original armor, and its follow-ups, looked fantastic. Maybe, it was because the CGI could better depict something composed of rigid panels. In the comics, Iron Man wore the classic armor for some twenty years, but the MCU can't seem to leave it alone for one movie...

I think you have it backwards. Marvel is reminding us that Rhodey was replaced with a Skrull and that is still canon even if you otherwise forget about Secret Invasion.

HERE ARE THE BIG QUESTIONS: Is it the alchemic reaction created by Sersi’s powers that created the adamantium, making her sought after by anyone trying to create the metal? Or was it always buried deep within Tiamut? Which would mean there could possibly be some adamantium on Nowhere’s corpse or in other Celestials for that matter & there’s definitely has to be some out in the cosmos. The implications of either question spark a slew of theories, to say the least. If it’s the former she’ll wind up killing another Celestial for the alloy, but the way things were left in the movie she might have to do that anyway to survive. If it’s the latter you can bet someone like Taneleer Tivan has a stockpile of adamantium collected somewhere, probably stored right next to the caged Makluan dragon, Fin Fang Foom & the perfect earrings to match Ms. Marvel’s bangles. Benicio needs his own Disney+ series, so let’s go with the latter! Just Saiyan!

captain america’s shield is supposed to be an unknown mix of both adamantium and vibranium. the scientist basically fell asleep at the wheel and it was made by accident and found to be virtually indestructible. the vibranium qualities help have it have certain properties which proto-adamantium does not inherently have.

I said they should stay away from secret invasion. It was too soon to make that a major plot. They should have done Fear Itself where Odins Bro (The Serpent) gets loose. That could have spanned TV shows and been started way back when Thor's Hammer first fell.

Again, didn't Cercie completely turn Tiamut into ice or stone? So how are they gonna find adamantium on or in his body? Because if they're gonna say she only turned the surface of Tiamut to ice hence they'll find adamantium inside him, then I'ma ask that, that's enough to kill a celestial? Also, she got all that powerup just to turn his surface to ice? I really hope they have a better explanation because I'm kinda lost whenever I hear the adamantium plot

If this is the way they're going to introduce adamantium, they already showed it's power. Thanos is part celestial and his weapon could've been made from adamantium which is how it was able to break Captain America's shield. Ijs. It's maybe an Easter egg we can run with.

Secret Invasion should had been an Avenger movie where the new Avengers reassemble before Kang Dynasty & Secret Wars. Hopefully Marvel find a way to fix everything.
I feel like you’re right but at the same time they probably could have gone down the cap 3 route and make captain marvel 2 about the secret invasion plot line with some avengers in the mix. That definitely would have made way more money.

My personal opinion is that we've really moved past iron man and armor wars....that the story is moving to a much bigger, much more cosmic one then something is grounded as armor Wars.

People complain like babies on everything. They first said that Marvel's output is always in a joking mood but then when they make something totally opposite of that like in Secret Invasion, they start complaining. They first said that there are never any stakes in Marvel then when major characters are killed off, even minor characters like Maria Hill in Secret Invasion, they start complaining.
