I worked at culver's during my awkward hair length stage, and had to wear a visor.. my hair...looked like....a fucking CLIFF at the end of my shifts
I feel you girl. I had a mohawk but then I cut it to a very short pixie, then back to a mohawk, then back to a short pixie, that all started back in 2014 or 2015. The last time I cut my hair was in December, I've been growing my hair out since my very short pixie. My hair can be very awkward at times, it's also wavy/curly. I don't want to cut it anymore but the back of my hair is seriously bothering me.

The awkward stages seem doable but you grow a full on mullet and super long sideburns, I feel you it sucks! But girl get you some bomb pomade and you'll be rocking it.

In the intro I almost had to second guess my sexuality 😂
I had my head shaved last yr the first time in March and then numerous times through June, July and August. All due to numerous brain surgeries. The second time and every time after tht they only cut one side of my head so in the growing back process, it was all extremely uneven. I stuck it out and didn’t have it cut or fix during my awkward stage but I did do the mistake of cutting the side tht had more hair off, myself. Huge mistake! I think your do came out sooo pretty! I wish I would have had someone cut my hair like yours but it happened. Now it’s a bit longer. Still not even but long enough tht I can tie it in a tiny bun. It’s it’s been a little over a yr since my last surgery and my current profile pic shows my hair progress as of early September.

From experience, the best way to grow it out will be to continuously cutting the back, but don't cut the sides or top! Once the sides reach bob length you can start growing it all out without touching it!
