I am interested in purchasing the Perform V v like this one in black, primarily for its harmony feature, which I understand can be accessed through the Smart app. However, I would like clarification on whether this harmony feature can be utilized during a live set. Could you please confirm if the Smart app allows for real-time harmony adjustments during live performances? Alternatively, I am considering the PERFORM-VE model in yellow, which includes a looper function. However, I would only require this unit for vocal performance alongside a backing track, and I do not need the guitar or loop functions. Ideally, I am seeking a vocal effects unit that provides delay, reverb, doubles, harmony, and, if possible (though not essential), hard tune capabilities. I would greatly appreciate any guidance or recommendations you can provide to help me make an informed decision.
Hi , great review ... but can singers like record the vocals with all the effects on ? I planning to get this one and utilizing for my home studio . Will singers benefit with this item during recording ? just wanna know from a producer point of view . many thanks
It will get the job done but you lose the benefits of using a studio. Once you record the vocals with this thing, you won't be able to edit those effects. the audio will be recorded with them on. Any basic digital audio workstation would have these type of effects that can be added/removed and edited etc. after the original performance. This is made more useful to replicate those studio effects when performing live at a show. Hope this helps and good luck!
Hey, this might be not related to video, but i have a question: I also use the akai MPK49 and the knobs keep "jumping" to different values, even if i don't touch them at all. Do you have a solution? I know a professional musician who has the same problems as I do. Keep up the good work!
great man I have subscribed u! I am a singer and keyboardist I want to sing with mic and keyboard Yamaha I 425 my question is can I attach this vocal processor to my keyboard and mic waiting for ur reply Thanks Manny
Stephen Lennartz yes you can. It has phantom power built in to power a condenser mic. Just tap the 48v button in the top right corner and you’re good to go.
boght the MK, great product!!!! had to learn how to use it with keyboards. also a small problem which is for me a big one, it has no balanced (XLR) output for performance mixer...
This unit looks really neat! Could you do a video on what quality is expected by music managers or music buyers? Is it possible to licence something with a low production value? Thanks again for your content!! 👍👍 (two thumbs up!)
The doubler is a bit weak as it really only give the illusion of 2 voices/instruments not harmonies which is a bit unless I think. I have one of these and was hoping that it would work with sax unfortunately it is not as user friendly as a reverb/delay TC pedal.
As a singer, I would have appreciated hearing it used in harmonies.
I agree it would be important to see how well the harmony feature works as well as the beaming feature
This felt more like an advertisement than an unbiased review.
I've been looking into these, and man I had no clue you had a review on this. Def want one for live.
Great job, just what I needed…Can I have that when you are done with it?

Hi if this is plugged into main desk can I control mic volume via this rather than going to the desk to do it?
I appreciate the info you explained it so well.. thanks
Can you use it for a live gig
Is there a volume control on this unit
Love the videos man, very good quality!
Where did you get your desk?
Love the way how you review this unit. It would be great if you could identify what TC effects are available as reverb and delay.
Can you use this for studio recording at all?
Does somebody use this perform v with mca 100 adapter ?I have one and it doesn't work
can you use it only with a guitar amplifier and a microphone?

By far the best demo of this fx processor that I've seen.
You forgot the double button
how to use it with karaoke. 😁🤔
awe, i wanted to hear the pitch effect :(
I don't like that u have to hold it and dial know at same time
Nice video but you totally skipped the double effect.
deberias hablar siempre a travez del TH helicon por que cuando lo quitas tu microfono y tu audio se escuchan faltal jaja, saludos
Can I use a condenser microphone with this?

The outputs are balance but not XLR. Get 1/4" TRS to XLR male adapters and you can connect directly to mic inputs on a mixer
Does this have the ability to create a telephone (or radio) effect?
Roland VT-3 has that.
Oxizee thanks! This one has it too.
Yes but you need to use the app
Nice watching now
Nice presentation bro. 2 thumbs up.
Great review, are you using a fethead in your chain?
I am actually! Good catch. I love it with the SM7B.
whis device is better Perform - V or VoiceLive Touch 2?
Touch 2 does WAY more but is WAY more complicated and more expensive

Nice....................

You hold the button and you die? 😕
Price For Indonesian
10 goats
Would have bought one but no harmonies, ruined it for me... otherwise, as strictly a vocalist, would have been just what I was looking for.
Brett Allen This does have harmonies using the app to edit presets.
bro im tryna hear the autotune...lol
You had the "talk" button on during have of the demo. Kinda defeats the purpose of demonstrating it.
not worth more than $100, way over priced IMHO
@adamivy damn your good
way too long on the forced ads !! shits painful at times , im fried ! . Mega Nerd U tube TRON . ! . ! .
