And for proofs of Islam, I've always said and still use this basic criteria for proving which religion is the truth
• the scripture of that religion should claim it's from God and is word of God, otherwise why even bother
• the scripture of that religion should be preserved so we know there is no corruption in it, because if there is corruption in it we don't know which one is God's word and which one is the corruption
• the scripture should not have mistakes or contradiction
• the scripture should contain evidences and proofs
The only religion that will pass this criteria successfully is Islam.

Maybe Dawkins finally came to realise a relevant truth of the ages: Jesus already existed in Spirit form before he added a human nature to his spirit nature. That is why telling a Christian that they worship a man comes off as lacking knowledge of what Christians believe. The Jesus whom Christians believe in existed in eternity before Mary, David, Abraham and Adam (None of us, or any prophet, pre-existed in spirit form before our human birth).
Jesus Christ existed in divine (spirit) form as the *Word* until the time in history when he added a human nature to his divine nature (when Mary gave birth to Jesus). That is why the scripture says Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit because he already existed in spirit form. No regular human/prophet was ever conceived of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is not created but exists in eternity. The birth of Jesus is the first and only instance of the divine and human nature (flesh) ever being united together.
'In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and *the Word was God.* He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. *The Word became flesh* and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.' (John 1:1-3, 14).
A man did not become God but God added the nature of a man to his divine nature. The Word was with the Father from eternity and the Word had the essence/nature of God. The Father and the Son are one God. They are *ECHAD* (meaning one/unity) as declared by Moses in Deuteronomy 6:4 and Jesus in Mark 12:14. That is why Jesus said he and the Father are ONE (John 10:30).
*"ECHAD"* is also used in Genesis 2:24 in referring to a husband and wife (who are TWO) leaving their parents and becoming united into “ONE” *(ECHAD)* flesh:
Jesus in his own words confirmed his pre-existence:
[57] “You are not yet fifty years old,” they said to him, “and you have seen Abraham!” [58] “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!” John 8:57-58
So what was the reason for the Word to lower himself by taking on a *human* form?
'Since the children (mankind) have flesh and blood, he too shared in their *humanity* so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death-that is, the devil- and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death. For surely it is not angels he helps, but Abraham’s descendants (Hebrews 2:14-16).
Remove the crucifixion and there is absolutely no need for Jesus to humble himself by taking on a human form. Love of mankind, not weakness, caused Jesus to humble himself and subject himself to the cross.
That is why Jesus Christ strongly rebuked the rejection of his crucifixion as being of *'S-tan', 'offensive',* and *'not mindful of the things of God'.* (Matthew 16:21-23).
7 centuries before the coming of the Messiah, the New Testament, Paul or Nicea, the scriptures prophesied about the *'arm of the Lord'* who *'bared his soul unto DEATH and bore the SINS OF MANY'.* (Isaiah 53:12)

Think of it as Paul 2.5. Paul 1.0 is obviously the co-opting original message of Jesus (A.S.) into Roman paganism and making it the state religion.
Any time an existing state has adopted a religion as the state religion, it has always been about controlling people. e.g. Rome adopting Christianity, Isn'treal adopting Judaism, Saudies and Gulf Arabs trying to control Islam.

The term "christian country" is so wrong nowadays. There is no christian country left on earth - only secular/liberal countrys. But the "good" part is, that in those secular/liberal countrys the "spirit of christianity aka the relationship to god" still exists partially. The "cultural christians" and former christian people are going on a journey to find god (again). And at the end of this journey, most of the time, islam awaits and gives the answer. That is why europe has an significant rising number of (new) muslims. Not only because of immigration, but also because of the europeans coming to islam.

I appreciate your logical no nonsense take on everything. You seem like a sincere objective truth seeker.
Richard will be first to ask for *evidence* if someone accused him of bad things. Yet time and time again he makes claims that Islam is 'bad', where's the proof, evidence? Its almost comedic how desperate these people have become to be relevant. He hasn't got much time left on this earth, he will meet the creator, the one he keeps denying.

Exactly. "The Muslim Lantern" discussed this very well. Christianity puts way more constraints on women and even at times treats them as less than men in virtue. Islam is a safe haven for women, they are relieved of all the mess western societies put on them in the name of "fReEdOm".

1. Women's rights to worship / religion and to enter heaven, not only
monopolized by men, mentioned in Quran
#QS 4: 124 "
Meaning: "Whoever does righteous deeds, whether male or
woman while she is a believer, then they will enter Paradise and
they are not persecuted in the slightest.”
#QS Ghafir : 40;
Meaning: which means: "And whoever does good deeds is a good man
and if a woman is a believer, she will enter Paradise,
they are given sustenance therein without reckoning
#QS Al-Nahl : 97
Meaning: "Whoever does good deeds, both men and women
if he believes, We will surely give him life
good and verily We will reward them with a reward
better than what they have done ".
2. Rights in politics. Among others mentioned in QS Al-Taubah: 71
Meaning: "And those who believe, male and female, some of them"
(is) be a helper for some others. They ordered (to do
what is right and forbid what is evil…”
The word "awliya" in the above verse can mean: cooperation, help and mastery.
Then with the editorial "order to do what is good and prevent what is
munkar ”gives a picture of the obligation to cooperate between men and women in various aspects of life. While the sentence "command
doing what is good ”, its scope is very wide, including the control function, giving
input and criticism to the authorities (political issues)
In QS Al-Mumtahanah 12, narrates the women in the time of the Prophet for
perform bai'at to the Prophet and his teachings. This shows that women
have political rights and choices that must be protected,
Islam also recommends to its people, both men and women, to
always deliberative in solving the problems of his life in this world.
(wa syawirhum fi al-amri). Again in that verse there is no discrimination because
the sermon or audience in the verse includes men and women. Dan
includes "all their affairs".
Historical fact: Ummu Hani once guaranteed security (political asylum)
to a group of polytheists, and this action was justified by the Prophet saw.
Aisha, together with the male Companions, led directly
a war known as the Jamal war or the Camel War against Ali
bin Abi Talib, with regard to the issue of the succession of the change of caliphate at that time.
3. Material rights, receiving inheritance, owning the results of their own business and the right to
work.
In QS Al-Nisa ’: 32 Allah swt. said
Meaning: for men the right (part) of what is bestowed on him and for
women the right (part) of what is bestowed upon her.
The verse explains that men and women have equal opportunities
to obtain the blessings of Allah swt., including in the matter of ownership.
Consequently, he will have the absolute right to hard work or work/effort
which is done by every child of Adam.
In the matter of the inheritance of Allah swt. Speaking In QS Al-Nisa ’: 11
Meaning: "Allah has prescribed for you about (the division of inheritance) for your children.
That is, the share of a son is equal to the share of two daughters.” (Surah Al-Nisa': 11) The difference in the share of inheritance is solely based on differences in function.
between men and women in the household system according to Islamic teachings.
In QS Al-Nisa ': 34 is mentioned
Even thou that men are leaders or in charge of women. However
men have to look at the verse in the context of married life in
the position of a man as husband. The indication, it appears by not removing it
the rights of ownership and management of the wife's property, including
of course the right to work and try.
From QS Al-Taubah: 71
which we have mentioned before, we also acquire
a picture of the necessity of cooperation between men and women in
various aspects of life. The sermon in the verse does not differentiate between men
and women.
In the time of the Prophet Muhammad saw. as can we see in the traces of history
Muslim women who pursue various types of professions, from business
politics/government to the issue of makeup/beauty salons.
> Salamah and Aisyah ra. (both the wives of the Prophet), Shafiyah, Laila al-Ghiffariyah and others with the men competed on the battlefield.
>Khadijah bint Khuwailid (wife
the first of the Prophet saw.) and Qillat Ummi Bani Ammar are examples of successful merchants on
his time.
>There is also Zainab bint Jahsy who works as a tanner and Ummu
Salim binti Malhan who works as a beautician.

Abdullah bin Mas'ud, actively working because her husband's income could not be enough

4.The right to choose and determine a life partner.
Therefore a marriage not based on the bride's will is illegal,
so that a guardian/female parent must ask the willingness of a person
women when to be married. Rasulullah saw. once said that means: "Widow
it is more entitled (to marry) himself than his guardian. And a girl should
asked for her own readiness''.
Likewise, while in the household he built he felt treated not
unfair and inhumane by her husband, a wife has the right to sue for divorce to
court.
5. The right to demand knowledge.
Islam highly values science and respects people who
knowledgeable.
In the Hadith of the Prophet it is stated which means: "Seeking knowledge is very obligatory for
every Muslim, male and female.”
