100%. I grew up being told we were avenging 9/11 only to grow up and realize we attacked a country that had nothing to do with it for no reason that lead to the deaths and generational trauma of so many people. I detest the part I played in cheering it on as a child.

As an American woman, I took my Shahada a week ago today. It was so heart-warming to see this sincere man become my brother. I empathize greatly with the challenges he anticipates with family, friends and society in general, as I live in a small southern New Mexico city where Muslims are stared at. I have long been regarded as a free-thinking intellectual with great antipathy towards religion, so my future is going to be interesting. Please pray that all of us reverts will find the path forward to truth and justice.

It was a great moment for me! While I have a lot to learn I have felt a greater sense of peace since this livestream. In contact with my local Mosque, I was surprised to find one was 20 minutes from my home. Also for some people asking, I love the cat ears and will wear them till my dying day.

MashaAllah. Welcome to Islam, brother. I started looking at Islam in 2008 because of all the hateful sermons at both of my Texas churches. I dug deeper and deeper looking for the source of evil. Instead i found I was always Muslim. In 2011, I said my shahada. I did not know of any Muslims near me. 😳 I also said my shahada virtually...then I found a masjid. 😂❤

Those who depict living animals are required to create a soul for them, just as God created a soul for animals, and of course they will not be able to do that. Since they can't, why do they draw these animals?

I usually know by the youtube notifications after I subscribed and turned it on. You and your friend can do that too.
