- 'lagan' was made in 1941 by new theaters (calcutta) starring saigal,kanan,nemo,jagdish sethi,nawab after this movie saigal came to bombay & kanan also left new theaters & joined p.c.barua who made jawab,hospital,kreeshna leela.The music was directed by r.c.boral & songs copmosed by poet arzoo 7 was directed by nitin bose

Kanan Devi's voice still is so good heard via the head phones when an artist's inner strength in singing is characterized of any defect if there is. There is none in her voice, it was so perfect as I hear this song on my headphone..Vow
