The way your character's name (Qnark) is pronounced means drugs (the recreational variety) in Swedish. As in "Man, I could sure go for some knark right now to liven up this party."
I literally was sitting on the guest bed petting the pupper when you said "you cant always get whatcha want" and I literally sang at the same time as splatty....

Me too! I have fond memories of fighting my way through that first dungeon.
I would recommend Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup - open source roguelike, has a fairly high learning curve but very fun.
Edit: It's also free with quite a bit of content being updated frequently.

Dungeons of Dreadmor [This is a roguelite, but still really awesome and has the best soundtrack ever]
and Binding of Isaac if you count that!

@@JohnnyFeo They ARE releasing beta copies, but splat said in a stream that they never give him review copies when he has asked in the past.
So unless they have a change of heart then we probably won't get to see Splat play the beta.... at least not right away.
I'd like to make a small correction here shawn : I just don't have any connection with the devs so I don't get things from them. It's not a conscious decision that things don't arrive, it's just that there's no relationship with them atm. I have a great working relationship with a lot of companies, but the bannerlord devs are a blank spot in my contacts list. I'm sure it'll work out, but we will be hitting it really hard when it comes out.

You ever play a roguelike game and you feel you're doing great, until
1) Full Inventory
2) Full carrying weight
3) You need supplies for exploration in the game
4) You get cornered
5) Cursed weapon you can't take off.
6) Bad rolls in a row
7) The game has tool durability
because of this video i found stoneshard which is one of my favourite games now so thanks

Since you love this game alot, i really emplor you to try out Stoneshard, it just released into early access, it follows the same formula as this game but way more modernized and more importantly hard which is what we all love in the end. Try it out, you wont be disappointed.

You want to eat mushrooms of the ground trust me the first run you do will suck but you will get a special from eating just mushrooms and then you can sell you starting food

Pretty damn nice game for sure but you really should try Tales Of Maj'eyal!!! I would also recommend all dlcs!
TOME is the best Roguelike to exist IMO. 1k+ hours on Steam.
And yea, I recommend the the DLC's. I love Doombringer. The tinker classes are fun too, except any time a rare monster has any of their abilities.

Should've shown off Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup. It's so fking hard to beat that there are yearly events to just get people to beat it in a couple hours. I've never beaten it with like 100 hours in it.
Depending on a race/class combo, 3-rune runs are not that hard to beat, mostly. 15-rune runs, on the other hand, are quite hard due to rng and the last level of the Tomb.

If you have an android you should play decknight. It is the first roguelike i have gotten into. I played a mace and shield build with magic that repaired my armor .

This is an interesting little game, but every time I play it, it just makes me want to go play Stone Soup instead. It feels pretty similar, except it has less RNG so you can consistently make progress based on your knowledge of the game's enemies and mechanics. This is more of a fun little diversion for when you're in a DYING IS FUN sort of mood.
What's the rogue like that is sifi you infiltrate a tech lab. You start on a snow field and go down. But prebuilt heros. This looks great though thanks for the video!

I must have a -infinity fried chicken resistance. If I was a town guard u could bribe me with a box of fried chicken. I'd be like I'm gonna go over here and eat my chicken whatever happens while I'm gone happens.
Splat, have you ever tried Equin: The Lantern?
Another roguelike that lets you accumulate power (here, starting bonuses) between runs. Critical mistake IMO: it means the endgame has to be balanced around you having those bonuses (so you can't win without them even if you play perfectly), or it's not balanced around them and the beginning of the game gets trivially easy, or that it scales to your power level (effectively negating your illusory permanent progression).
In contrast, when playing Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup, Spelunky or other games true to the genre, you could win the game on your first try, however unlikely. I find that awesome.
The only "permanent progression" I find acceptable in roguelikes is the unlocking of new things that feed into the random generator and increase variety, but don't significantly affect your chance of winning the game. Binding of Isaac kinda gets it right, though it does unlock some powerful items. The Spelunky shortcuts are also acceptable, in that they let you practice later levels, but you'll still want to do a full run to maximize your chances of winning.
The opening menu music is from Space Empires 5. Game looks good though.
