Hey guys!!!
This was a hectic day!
We have tried a few times to pull out the copper with out having to strip the hair, I know when I’ve had copper tones, eventually it fades so just warm brown. But nope! This bad boy was hanging on so for this service we’re removing the color using Malibu products for the first time.
It was a long service, 7 hours! But In the end I’m glad we were both happy!

I really love about your channel that you show different kinds of Balayage techniques. We all know the all over airtouch Balayage that takes hours to apply and which is very expensive for the customer. I love that you show so many different options.
Should have charged $700. That was a lot of work and you used the best professional products. Plus you have to cover rent, health care benefits etc! I would have paid you that.

I love this video, it is my first video of yours, it really shows the stress is real!! I am a cosmo student and I feel like every service is a stressful unpredictable one. Its so nice to see even the most seasoned vets dont go through this alone. Beautiful outcome shows and helps me build confidence that it can be done. I am going to recommend my teacher show this to my class I really feel a lot of people can relate.
Oh good! Thanks for stopping by! I feel like anxiety is common with me and I think it’s important for others to see that it’s not always a point where we just know everything. There’s always room for growth and learning as we go along.
Hi! How would you maintain this tone with the highlights? Do you separate out the blonde? I had something similar done in a salon but then the next time I went they toned the whole thing, it grabbed and I lost all my blonde under a darker toner CRY! It’s not been the same since. They did all that work and I paid all that money and then the next time it was just gone.
Just an fyi you are supposed to use clarifying shampoo before applying the CPR then clarifying shampoo afterwards 😉
That’s so weird I read the instructions to be sure and it didn’t state that, thank you! Only the three washes after….
@@hairbykristijennings6648 I know me too- I worked as a GM for Cosmo Prof and we had a training course on Malibu products- they also make a shampoo that works with the CPR and it’s gives incredible results- I also saw another you tuber Mirrella Minnelli use it that way.
It spreads so much better on damp hair so it works out with the clarifying pre-wash
Btw I am freaking in love with the results you got- that base level 5 ash is gorgeous 😻
Omg kristie i love you! You are so very sweet! Thanks for the shout out, you my tribe girl! ❤️ now about the Malibu so it’s vitamin C technology,only 1 product is a persulfate,ddl. With CPR i love how you noticed the difference as you washed it with the undo goo. Special ph of around 9 so we always say, YOU are the color remover. I always do 45 min under the hot ass dryer. The 3 Vigorous shampoos with undo goo. So you aren’t going to get like a WOW with CPR like you would w that scruples because there’s a lightning agent in it. But cpr no. Very gentle and you can use it as many times as you like and it color won’t revert any darker afterwards, it also wont lift any lighter then the underlying pigment. I hope that helps babe and i hope you start to use more Malibu. Thanks again it came out gorgeous and i watched all the commercials from start to finish 😀 😘

Before doing the malibu cpr u should Wash with the clarifying schampo as well, But i dont know if it would hade Done some difference?? But the endresult is beautiful 😍🙌🏻and u are the best, two colorclients at the same time, i would die of the stress 😂🙈

Can’t believe it’s that easy to do some simple dimensional pieces ! I currently have semi permanent copper hair , my natural hair is black but lifts quite easily with 30 volume! Just found your video of doing roots along with foils , your money piece video and this current video for dimensional pieces which is just what I was looking for! I’m a broke student but still want exciting hair 😍 from the Demi permanent colour depositing mask I’ve been using I’ve realised it’s making my hair darker…. For highlights would you recommend going over in a lighter colour than my original toner as my original toner is a level 6 ? Will that make it darker instead? Thoroughly enjoy your videos they’re so clear ! Xxx
I wouldn’t go lighter tone cause it might not blend with the darker color previously used…. If I understood you correctly

Are all these toners (the Igora etc, and later the 9NB and 10V etc) demi permanents? What happens when they fade / wash out over a few weeks? Will the hair end up coppery again like it was? Will she need to have her base colour re-toned and then also the highlights re-toned? 😭
Thank you! And yeah, I told her that it will start fading and coming warm eventually. However, with the igora, I feel like when I’ve used ash tones on other clients, they return still ashy. So for a demi it has really good longevity. More than Paul Mitchell the demi

This outcome was gorgeous! Doing that Mohawk strip is a great little tip! It certainly blended beautifully with her money pieces and I loved the multi dimensional colors. Including a tiny bit of the warmth that you could barely see. Just gorgeous! You definitely under charged. ♥️
