"My fingers are freezing I've tried it with different ones"
Interchangeable fingers! Now I'm really impressed.
Disagree with ANYONE who thinks this gun is ugly, I think ts beautiful!!!
Bought this around 4 months ago and absolutely love it.
Possibly one of the best looking budget rifles I've seen in a while. A visit to vector air in the new year is definitely needed.
To any new shooters who are looking to buy their first PCP rifle, you don't need to buy brand new , over the many years that I've shot air rifles I've found that buying a higher end brand name rifle from the second hand rack is often the better choice ( as long as the shop has a reputable history and they service a the used rifles before they sell them ,and that they offer a 3 or 6 month warranty ) .
If you find a shop that you know for certain does check over and service their second hand rifles,
I would seriously consider buying one ,go in the shop and ask if you can try before you buy ( or at least shoulder the gun and handle it ) .
Brand new doesn't always mean you are getting a good rifle .
Thank you Andy for the entertainment and education you have given us in the past year. I don't think many of us understand how much time and work goes into these presentations. Your work is greatly appreciated. Looking forward to new content in the future. Thank you very much for your efforts. Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year.
Well said, totally agree.
Eagerly await Friday mornings, then depending on the product being reviewed, play it again and again in ear shot of the wife!!!
One day she may take the hint.......
Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year to all.
I had one when they first came out in the UK, I thought it looked the dogs ......... but i found it grouped about as well as a blunderbuss loaded with bent nails, at 20 meters it was a lucky dip if it even went in the black on a standard target. tried everything with it, different pellets , different silencer, no silencer, literally all options. All my other rifles i can group happily all day long at c60 meters. Eventually sold it after about 4 months.
WHEN IN DOUGHT, CHANGE THE BARREL!!
I owned one of these for a while… it was up and down with performance but for the price it’s a great looking thing and fun to use. Pellet testing was key for me with this and the single shot tray was the way.
Pest control was good with it
How do you refill it is it gas powered, I've only ever used break barrel rifles, thanks mate
@@toneloke5145 you can use a pump or air cylinder and insert the fill probe supplies and do it that way 🙌
Thanks Andy for another great review!
I have one of these under-rated rifles in .177. I can attest to the benefit of changing the moderator for a Weihrauch; it makes a HUGE difference and sounds as though it has lost power - it hasn't- its just really quiet.
Word of warning: DON'T cock the rifle pointing upwards (no, you shouldn't anyway)... as pellets can fall from the magazine backwards into the mechanism and jam it.
Other than that, it's accurate and surprisingly comfortable.
Downside - the filler port is upfront at the pointy end.
Finally, it has a trick that not many have noted: the gauge is luminous!!
Merry Christmas one-and-all.
Hi. I was just wondering which Weihrauch moderator is the best fit for this gun. Many thanks
@@jamesmeechan328 go for the old style, with a conical fore end (over the thread). The new Weihrauch XL/XLK silencers won't fit. The other design with a flat fore end might.
Hi mate what ft lb is it, (is it legal) thanks
Hi Andy .
As a total beginner and as yet not a rifle owner I really enjoy your honest reviews. Favourite of the year was the BSA GRT Lightning XL SE. Your enthusiasm for that spacific rifle was so contagious it still tops my potential purchasers list.
Keep doing what you're doing and thanks
Thank you Andy and all. Merry Christmas !
Hi Andy. Thank you for posting honest and unbiased reviews. I don’t comment much on UA-cam but have to say that I kinda like the look of this rifle. It looks like it could take a beating in the field and it’s in the price bracket that most could afford. Wishing you and everyone a peaceful Christmas and hopefully 2023 will be a happy year for all.
Merry Christmas Andy and thank You for another Year of solid reviews. All the best in the Year Ahead.
Thanks for all the reviews. If not for you I'd never know about most air rifles.
Didn't know they had evolved so much
Since red rider and 760 or 880.👍
Your reviews are so phenomenally detailed! Thanks for all your work :)
Really neat little piece of shooting this! I like the design too. Definitely something to be on the look for if you're shopping on a budget.
Happy Christmas to Mr and Mrs AAR, and of course all of your fans
Im a complete newbie and your videos Andy have single handedly peaked my interest in the sport. Im looking to get this rifle as my first pcp just for a bit of target work as the price and looks definitely do it for me. Thank you for your continued effort and keep up the great work!
Merry Christmas guys, thanks for your hard work this past year, I've really enjoyed the channel, keep up the good work, here's to a wonderful 2023
Cheers Andy. I brought the Lee Enfield a few months ago and love the unusual look of it. It definitely stands out in a crowd and has been the talking point many a time at the range. Keep the great reviews coming and I wish you and Mrs AAR a merry Christmas and happy New Year 👍
Cheers Andy, always a pleasure. Looks like a decent entry-level or field airgun. Have a good Christmas and New Year.
Great review as usual. WWould love to see a head to head with L.E. Sentry v's Milbro Guardian.
Hope you and the Missus have a great christmas and a prosperous New Year. 🥂
I enjoy getting a brand new AAR video on Friday! Thank you Andy!
This gun looks like a great budget buy first foray into PCPs.
Thanks for some great informative reviews Andy and Mrs. AAR and have a great Xmas and even more successful new year.
After watching this quality advice again I'm blown away by this package. Nice Mr Andy.
...merry Christmas too.
Hi,I've had 1 of these for 3 weeks, its my 1st pcp and couldn't resist the looks, I used to shoot the 303 back in the army cadets in the 80's, still trying to find the perfect pellets, easy to use and accurate, thanks for your take on it, the safety on mine seems tighter than your review one.👍
Dont know what you have tried but... RWS Superdome, JSB Exact or Crossman domed is a good place to start testing.
@@sahhull I have got a sentry .177. I do agree, you need to find the right pellets. In my case it was RWS Superdome 8.3gr. The rifle loves the pellets and the accuracy has improved. Good, nice looking gun, very pleased with it. And some people can't get their eyes off it on a shooting range 🤣🤣🤣 and it's 'only' a budget gun. I like Andy's chanel and really value his reviews. I am going to NEC Birmingham 17th-19th Feb, maybe I will meet this guy and have a little chat.
Love it! And cheap enough to just buy as a second gun. Id have one! Merry Christmas Andy to you Mrs AAR and the guys at vector air
Hi Andy, I used to have airguns back in the late 1960's but not since, but I really enjoy watching your channel. The one thing that I'd like to see is if you could put something like a scale line onto the target - maybe one inch or 25 mil in 5 mil increments, to get an Idea of the grouping. Have a great 2023!
Andy appears to be using a standard 14x14cm Bisley pistol target card (for 6m - 10m pistol) out at 40 metres. Outer ring is about 5", with a Shoot N'C sticky added as visual aid.
I kind of like the look, and the performance is pretty good at the price point. Still not dipped my toe with PCPs yet, this one might be an entry level contender.
Looks like a nice budget rifle. Merry Christmas Andy. Thank you for all the great videos.
Hi all. I'm new to the sport and obviously this channel. I recently brought a Crosman magfire mission 22 and thanks to you Andy I yesterday bought the c02 Sig Saur p266 177 and boy is that a buzz. Great reviews keep up the great work my friend...oh btw I would definitely buy this rifle I think it looks seriously cool. How can you not love any Lee Enfield
thanks for all the good videos this year I've really enjoyed them keep up the good work Andy and merry Christmas .
got to go and put a order in for this great price Lee Enfield.
Yes that safety had my concerns when I saw it plastic on plastic never really seems to work and working loose was my very first thought. But yes apart from that it seems a contender for anyone on a budget. Have a great Xmas Mr and Mrs AAR and all your family, and to the rest of you out there, let’s hope 2023 will be a better year for everyone.
It is actually part of the design, every time you pull the bolt into cocking mode it sets the safety to on, You have to put the safety off before shooting.
But it becomes part of the hand movement after the first couple shots
@@barendvdwesthuizen6577 Not in my rifle. Once put on F, stays on F. A little loose I have to admit, but does its job well.
Greetings Andy, As ALWAYS another fact filled video!! A very Merry Christmas to you and yours!! Do you think the Lee Enfield Sentry will become available in the USA? I really like the blended character of this offering. Wishing you continued success on your channel and I'm looking forward to your presentations in 2023!!
I haven't even got to the end of the review yet, but I had to stop and comment that this surprisingly speaks to me with it's design aesthetic. Perhaps it's the fact I too love traditional things, but am also a modern engineer with an appreciation of current design; combining the two just seems to tick all the boxes for me. To come from the legendary Lee Enfield company to boot, what's not to like?
Good honest review as always Andy, I'm strangely drawn to this one and I don't even know why bit unusual I suppose (like me lol) probably same reason as I bought the Vixen. Have a great Xmas & New Year and hopefully we'll have more in the New Year - keep safe
As a winter league FT shooter.
Freezing cold, wet, windy, ice n snow comes with the territory.
I dont feel bad now... I can happily shoot 50m groups off my knee that are way better than that.
As for heavy... My Daystate CRX FT rig tips the scales at 18lbs. Yes I hunt with it too.
Hi Andy wondered where you got the little tripod gun rest from as it might be exactly what I’m looking for
Good morning Andy, how are you.? Merry Christmas 🎅 to you n Mrs AAR
I got one!! I bought myself a Xisico Sentry from flying dragon airguns here in the US. Heavy but really accurate. Mike at flying dragon is an amazing person to deal with!!!!
he hasnt had any in a while. guess lee enfield bought them all up at a higher price. mines been waiting to get new seals since it started leaking. havent touched it since I got my beeman underlever.
A very good looking Lee Enfield. Might just make me part with my trusty S410. Nah i would never get rid. But may buy this Lee Enfield.
Looks very nice the closest thing yet to tempt me from springers. Merry Christmas Andy
Lovely gun, might look into that a bit more for my first PCP at some point. Great video as always, thanks and looking forward to the next
As luck would have it, I nominated myself as the president of the Sentry fan club on the Gateway to Airguns forum. Very unique PCP, some say is FUGLY, but I like that in a gun :)
I looked at this gun But when you did the Gamo gx40 I opted for the Gamo but it does look great
I’ve had 2 of these in.25 since November and 1 is a pure laser beam that gets about 125 shots without much power and the other will sling a pellet so hard it bent my little swinging targets but it’s not very accurate and gets about 50 shots per fill. Both on the same settings. I like them very much though. And I agree that the mags are brilliant
Thanks for another interesting review, keep up the good work in the New Year
Andy. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family.
Thxs for the very informative presentation. Very nice rifle.already looking into purchasing .thxs again.
Another great video Andy , Have a great Christmas and a successful New Year
A bit quirky, but at the same time pretty neat. Happiest of holidays.
Great looking gun. Might bag one!
Great video aar just like to say merry Christmas Happy New year looking forward to see more reviews. 👍
Good morning Andy, thank you for another interesting review. I always look forward to Friday mornings. Tablet fired up, nice cup of tea and the latest from AAR, brilliant! A very merry Christmas to you and Mrs AAR. 🙂
Cant wait to pick mine up on Tuesday got a lovely little deal gun 3mags a bag two scopes for under £300. This is also going to be my first pcp and ive found my self watching this vid over and over so as always great job and cant wait for new and awsome vids.
Checked the time. 308! Smashing.
Morning Andy, Brilliant Review as always. I like the look of this rifle.
Merry Christmas , really enjoy your reviews , even enjoyed this one . Had one of those it was appalling, must have been manufactured during a Friday late shift. Looks great though .
What !!! £360 Thats a bargain, Think I'll be going down to VA 💯👍👍
Took one look at this and knew it was for me, ordered and can't wait to arrive especially after this review
At the USD RRP the Xisico Sentry from Flying Dragon Air Rifles is excellent value for money.
Rebranded with a nostalgic name and price for the UK market, while not a bad rifle imho it's difficult to justify when you can get a new GX40 under £300 or a used S4xx for about the same 🤷♂️
Merry Christmas.to you.and Mrs AAR Andy
Happy Christmas to you and your loved ones, and thank you for another year of your excellent reviews. Rodge David kidderminster uk 🇬🇧 xx
In Canada it's imported from China as the Disco Sentry as marked on the pressure gauge.
Hello Andy, thanks for another great review. I’ve owned this gun for a few months and I find the bolt to be very stiff on the second part of the pull, the one you used seemed a lot easier so do you have any suggestions to make mine smoother? I’ve tried silicon grease to no avail
Shades of computer game styling - the wood stock part looks very nice but that foreend is why I'd put it back down in the shop. Great review as always and if you've not already, you should do a video on how to breath when shooting as your form was quite apparent at the start of the shooting bit. Merry Christmas!
I think that’s a good looking bit of kit.
A Lee Enfield that looks like half a Franchi SPAS-12
I think it looks good.. Thanks for the video, and a merry X-mas.
Great review, hope you and your family have a great Christmas and a very healthy and prosperous New Year.
great work on your vids Andy. Do you think you could show precision results in something measurable and comparable, like MOA, or at least mm at certain distance? I am thinking about new gun and I do not know if it actualy brings any benefit in terms of precision as no reviewer is showing these results. I know my old AGT is 1.1 MOA gun at distance reasonable for HFT shooting, 45yds
Great video Andy, I'm looking into getting a pcp after only having plinked with co2 pistols and break barel rifles before. I wouldn't mind trying some rabbits and continue target shooting im very interested in this and maybe the Webley nemesis x. I really like the shorter scopes you showed on the webley would they work or would it need a longer larger scope. Ideally the scope should be under £120 for my needs. Many thanks for any advice. Richard
Merry Christmas and a happy New year Andy well you can't knock the Rifle at that price for a pcp thanks for the review👍
Does it come with an 18'' bayonet?
Couple of lads down my range have these and I agree very strange to look at but they get very good results from such a reasonably priced rifle. Great review as always.... but when will your building work be done. Seems like it's been years haha
Very cool looking! I'd like one if it were under lever style
Question..
Does it come in .25 calibre or not. I can't find one anywhere I've looked.
A stockist in that flavour would be nice, that's if you know.....
Hi , great review 👍 thanks.... yes not bad looking 👌 shoots good ! . The price point is fantastic for somebody wanting to enter our sport ! .. cheers Simon 😎🏴🥳
Would love a vid on the milbro guardian as to my knowledge its just a dressed up version of the sentry and would love to know how it compares.
Can you tell were you get your guns from I can't find them for same prices please
Very fair Andy!
A friend of mine calls that a marmite gun. He used to have one himself. Personally I like it, although I'm not sure if I could make room for it.
Hi Andy, I like the look of it but I don’t think I’d use it for pest control, not accurate enough..
It's too bad you couldn't get the Sentry 705 HC deluxe with the sidelever action. It has an even nicer action and an included wheel dialable hammer power adjuster. With Xisico changing their USA brand to JTS, the Xisico models (the 705 HC included) are not longer available here in the US either!
Always wondered how these performed, now I know, - great budget rifles by the look and with a bit of pellet testing and running in, should improve further? Thanks Andy.
Hi Andy
I'm just curious...I bought this rifle over 1 and a half years ago...how come that you review it now?
Looks exiting for sure
I nearly brought one of these but was persuaded into the RM8 varmint UC
Merry Christmas Andy! You run a great channel. Keep doing what your doing. Didn't know Lee Enfield was still operating as a company. Are they still British and is that air rifle made in the UK? Regards, Dan
Quite like the look of that.
Thank you for this year’s reviews Andy happy Christmas 🎅 love this channel 👍
great review as always, have a merry christmas and a happy new year
Great show as always
Thanks to you and the team who is helping you
Have a great Christmas
When it come to you all
👍👍👍😜🏴🦄🦕😁✌️🤞
ive had one of these for about 9 months now, for the price they are decent but accuracy and precision of trigger ect isnt in the same level as alot of pcp rifles
And the power adjustment is ..............................
Where can I order one that's UK legal for myself with no licence required please.... Do you have a link to your shop
This was one of my first rifles bought it about a year and half ago in .22 caliber, loves diablo pellets.
Safety catch was a lot tighter on mine also, great review as always, Merry Christmas to all
how much are they and is it as good as it looks
@@paulfisher7911 I bought mine as package for just under £500 that was with a scope, bipod, bag and tin of pellets. Rifle on its own would of been £369. Accurate up to 40 metres with the right pellet's. Definitely a head turner
@@tommallon2930 superb thats good well im going to treat myself thank you for replying much apreciated
Good review Andy, had one of these. All I can say is, for the price you will not believe how accurate these are. It the only rifle I had no issues with at all. Very simple, accurate, but a bit agricultural if you get my meaning. It will keep up with the gun snobs out there. But not as refined, it will do 40 yard's no problem. My friend Mark has one of these and loves it. I have just shared the link to your review with him. So hopefully he will give a long term owners insight to this rifle. Keep up the review's & have a good Christmas and New year 👍
i have just bought one
@@tomhirons7475 hope you like, try some jsb express and spitfire domed you will be surprised. Spitfires around £6.00 a tin and jsb around £15.00 a tin. Not much difference up to 35 yards. Certainly not £11.00. Let me know how you get on & enjoy.
@@brandonwood4914 i will and thx for the tip on pellets, how are you getting on with your enfield ?
@@tomhirons7475 I haven't got it anymore, but I still shot my friends Mark's at the gun club. I have a Zbroia Kozak & a Sapsan both mk2 love them. But the Enfield for the money is bang on and accurate.
@@brandonwood4914 thank you so much
For that price it certainly appeals to me.
That looks gorgeous 🤩
I've been waiting a while for you to review this man 😁😁
Just to mention, I understand the American version does not have the three Weaver rail on the top just one nice long Weaver rail the length of the barrel.
When will all manufacturers put the pressure gauge on the side of the tank? I'm sure it wouldn't be that much of a faf. I, for one would be happy to pay a bit extra for a gauge on the side. My feeling is, if it has not already happened, someone will eventually soot themselves in the eye. Then it's good by world, hello after life.
Did you not notice that when the gun was pointed up when loading a single shot that if you where not careful the pellet would disappear down the hole at the back of the loading chamber, or, is it just me?
