Hello, do you have any suggestions on how to be prepared for the essays? I feel like I would be expected to write a three-page essay on anything in history from Chinese philosophy to the Arab-Israeli conflict.
Thank you so much for this video! I don't think Christopher Columbus however was ever the very first westerner to reach the Americas. It is said that the Vikings had long before sailed across to modern day Canada.
Correct. They did find a Viking village in what today is Canada. He is credited with it mostly because the size of his voyage, and how he exposed it to the 'known' world. :)
I love these videos! They are so informative and tremendously helpful! I watched these over and over to pass the CBEST. I hope that the results are similar with my CSET exams. Thanks again for the fantastic resources!
You're welcome! We love hearing from happy users. If you'd like more CSET review, we have an excellent study guide available at www.mometrix.com/studyguides/cset.
How come you didn't order the subject matter in order of each CSET test? Tor example all (114) in the same section of the video and so forth.. or at least indicate what subset each time stamp goes to in the description. Thanks in advance.
You can search our entire collection of free videos by either subject or test name at www.mometrix.com/academy. We also have great CSET Study Guides on our website at www.mometrix.com/studyguides/cset.
I have both the UA-cam video site & my computer's audio on the highest settings possible, but can barely hear some of these speakers. The second gentleman is far harder to hear than the first gent but then is fine when he is on a diff recording (or as the "third speaker"), which I had no problem hearing. Same things in other videos. PLEASE either fix the audio to go higher and/or include cc on these VALUABLE vids! Thank you
We do apologize for the differences in volume. We will keep that in mind for future projects. If you need a more complete CSET review, be sure to check out our study guides at www.mometrix.com/studyguides/cset.
We do hope you find our videos helpful! For a more complete review, however, we always suggest our study guides. You can read all about them at www.mometrix.com/studyguides/cset. Good luck on your exam!

I think it's important to note around 1:20:00 that the South was not fighting to preserve their lives, they were fighting to preserve the institution of SLAVERY (which is the property aspect you mention). The argument of preserving livelihood and states' rights is outdated and quite frankly micro-aggressively racist, as the states' rights argument emerged out of the notion that secession would be the only way to preserve slavery.
Grace Moso also the north didn't start their draft in 1963 which is written on the board but 1863. She says 1963 but does catch herself and says 1863 later.
"micro-aggressively racist..." thats cute. I love how in America, any dissenting opinion or thought on any subject is immediately classified as 'racist'. Slavery is without a doubt the obvious reason that the southern states decided to secede from the union and begin the Civil War, but having a difference of opinion is not racist.
Grace, if you can't understand basic concepts, please stay away from our kids. The "micro-aggresively racist" comment is nonsense and based on your misunderstanding of basic concepts.

I don't think the concept israel should be considered a good thing considering it led to the genocide of Palestinians and colonization of palestine

The 16-year-old is wearing a suite.
The Vikings were the first Europeans to land in the Americas.
Wrong. The senate is made of one person
What time in the video are you referring to?
Mometrix Test Preparation ... I think they’re making an out-of-place Star Wars reference to Emperor Palpatine.
is that REALLY an "out-of-place Star Wars reference to Emperor Palpatine? Dude...
