Great video guys!!
That's a pretty cool well liner
What about water drainage? Where does water go after a downpour?
Nice Video
Thank you!
Hi, I see that this was posted awhile ago but I'm gonna ask anyway. What is the white foam type looking material that looks like it is 4" wide and maybe 1/8" thick that you used between window framing and the brick wall? Thanks for posting this video. It has been very helpful.
That is sill seal, it's to seal any air gaps between the wood and the masonry surface. Used usually between your bottom sill plate and the foundation.
Why do companies leave the cutout concrete in bottom of holes before backfilling?
They should be removing those cuts or it causes drainage issues.
@@jeremiahstratmanelectrical3519 I figured as much. The company that just did my egress left them in the hole
They just took the cuts out of the hole on my house 1 hour ago and that slab was 8 feet wide and 8 inches thick. I would hate to have that diverting water toward my foundation. Good luck brother
On average how much does this entire project cost?
with the fiberglass well, probably around $5000-6000. Those are $1100-2000 just for the well from Rockwell
How much the price is
Where is the drainage and backfill aggregate around unit? There should be 12” of pea between unit and backfill soils to terminate approximately 6” for top of finished grade for drainage and to reduce expansive pressure against well
Old comment. But it's not a code requirement. Nor is it a manufacturer requirement, whom backs it with a 10-year warranty.

What about the cost of putting this in?
How much cost basement Windows
How deep do you have to put the well outside?
LOVE YOUR WORK....PERFECTION ...HOW MUCH DOES THIS COST 🤑
Nice work guys, but holy, thats a lot of work to create a legal basement. Im in canada, and i thought our building code was strict! Guess i was wrong lol. Brand new homes here dont need that, just atleast one window in each room, including basement bedrooms that are capable of opening. Much cheaper than this! I know the reason is for safety but come on, thats a lot of work, and i can easily climb out of my basement window without that stair device lol. But anyway clearly you guys do quality work, i just think that code goes a little overboard
us americans are fat so they gotta protect the people who cant pull themselves up out of their basement lol
Canada ? That's because they put Corey & Trevor in charge of your building codes .
Класс!
now i'm at 4:18 in the video. when does the how-to part start?
Shouldnt you let that sealant cure before backfilling?
I am in Milton VT what do you charge to install one of these egress windows? (When it gets warm of course)
