- I've been offshore fishing in SoCal for over 20 years. Over the course of that time, these are some of the things I like to bring. Knife Jigs, Terminal Tackle, Lots of Hooks in different sizes, Lead Sinkers, Headlamp, Fluorocarbon, Pliers, Sunglasses, Sunscreen.
Nice set up
Thank you!!
It started with those tuna pins down south. I remember cryising by them back in like 2006 or 2007. Befire that usually bluefin were only caught on 3 day or longer trips.
02:55 that is a greatnone !
Isn't it so crazy how we as offshore fisherman carry that much tackle with us on fishing trips. I take as much as you, if not more. But I have taken less than that and wished I took more. Because you never know what the fish are going to bite. Anyway thanks for sharing. I'm glad, I'm not the only one who over loads their tackle box
Good luck on your next trip.
If you don't bring it, you'll need it!!! Lol
Good Video! No, you don't have a lot, I carry twice as much because I've needed it all and used it all, especially when you don't have it. Being prepared for as much as possible. My personal motto.
You can never have to much tackle or gear. I have more stuff in my Tackle Bucket!!! LOL
I have that same Albackore tackle bag, got it at the Fred Hall show many years back. I love the amount of gear I can fit into it. My goal is to go on a 8 day trip, and be able to hand carry all my gear at once onto the boat by myself. I haven't been able to do it yet, because I bring too many rods! :)
I love my Albackore tackle bag. I think I've had it for 18 years.
Thanks Miles. Hope to see you next week on the Islander Froggy trip!
I'll be there....See you Monday!!!
Very informative video!
