Apparently if you change address when you get a new card issued you have to wait 24 hours before it actually activates. Because atm I'm in that situation,I can't use anything until that happens or until I get my new card
I have other question: in stores you have blocked signal only way to get internet is their wifi which means you need internet for gpay so i can only nfc pay without Wifi ,data enabled ?

Sad to say that, iphone doesn't allow you to do nfc payments it only allows to do that via apple pay which isn't available in India so you can't do nfc payments using iphone
No, because you don't have money store in credit card ( your money is at bank ) and credit card is just a tool to authentication with your bank , the only one who need internet is where you make your purchase.

Tip : Turn off nfc when you won't be using it. To be extra safe. NFC don't work when the screen is locked, still.

NFC payments are far more safer than card swipes. There's no chance of card cloning or people seeing your PIN.

No need of data, it uses nfc to communicate the card details to the machine.

Did you eenable nfc payments on your card controls section?? You can also set limits. If you did that then I don't know what's wrong.

Since it's not a upi p payment so gpay may not keep track of such transactions so you need to check your bank's app.

Yes, safe as long as you've a screen lock. Make sure to turn off payment on lock screen option.
