Do some kids not ever notice/acknowledge the “I did it. I did something hard.“ ? My son wants me to write a note to get out of running a mile in PE. We’ve had a couple of conversations about it and I was like “Did you make the whole mile?” “Yes.” “You did it! It was hard but you did it!” But he kept saying “I didn’t do it”. Basically just wanting to say the opposite of what I said. 🤦♀️

as things are, i can't imagine sending my kid to school. i was a public school kid, and we have let things get even worse since i was there
