Lexmoto Cypher Overview
Join the silent revolution with the Cypher - the first electric motorcycle to be introduced to the Lexmoto range!
For those looking for an environmentally friendly and sustainable means of transport, the Cypher offers an easily accessible and cost-effective way of transforming the way you commute.
Featuring a 1500w electric motor and a range of up to 40 miles**, the Cypher gives a new way to tackle the way you travel. It features a removable lithium-ion battery that enables you to charge the motorcycle while it`s parked up and comes with extended servicing intervals and two years parts and labour warranty and a three-year warranty on the battery.
With a top speed of 30mph, the Cypher is more accessible than most other motorcycles. It can be ridden on an AM category licence, meaning that it`s available to 16-year-olds, and also those who passed their car driving test before 2001.
**This range is depending on speed/weight/braking and other factors
My wife had this exact electric moped.... It is brilliant... It takes just seconds to DERESTRICT....
Prior to derestricting it, it is held to 30mph and is classed as a UK moped.
Yes Derestrict is easy to do 👍
I guess if you were on a 50cc moped we wouldn’t have heard any of that. The beauty of EV’s 🙂
@@kevinslegg1576 The silence was fantastic 👍
Looks great fun. Take care on those back roads.
@@crm114. 👍👍
This is adorable! And it would satisfy a lot of people’s requirements. Electrification improves flexibility.
👍👍
I keep meaning to have a try on an electric machine. I’m a bit spoiled really I own a Triumph Tiger 800, which suits me well, except it’s on SORN since my heart attack!
You should try one of the Zero motorbikes
That is a cracking price, can you say who supplied it?
Speedway Motorcycles

I wonder how easy it would be to get spare belts for that and how long a belt will last.
It's not a bad bike but what is the top speed of it, you called it a moped but some people call 125cc bikes mopeds even though they are not.
Top speed is supposed to be 28mph like a moped. You can unlock it to do 50mph
@@grouchthatbarx OK so it's like moped that for those on a budget could then turn it in to a small motorcycle, interesting.
But with such a small range it probably works best as a moped.
Just one last thing other than the belt issue is being battery terrain and rider weight is crucial to the range, for example an 18 stone man carrying a 10 kg bag on his back going up and down hills would probably get a rider like this around 20 miles before the battery needed charging and would probably find the battery needed changing in a short time, where as a 8 stone woman would probably find a bike such as thus would give her the full 50 miles and maybe a little more.
So I'm guessing you being in the middle would get around 35 miles realistically in the hills maybe walking the last mile.
Does it have regenerative braking?
@@flitsies why is the belt an issue? Also it doesn't have regen. 👍
@@grouchthatbarx The belt could become an issue if it breaks.
If you can't find anyone that has these belts the bike won't go.
Also some of these belts are extremely expensive to replace.
I understand the Zero belt is around 200 pounds to replace, admittedly it's a different type of belt probably but there is no knowing how long these types of belts will last on this small bike.
So if you can't get hold of a replacement the bike becomes useless all for the want of a shoe or in this case a belt.
Were it a chain, it wouldn't matter as you can get chains everywhere, but belts not so easy to come by.
Come to that matter what if the belt pully gets a chip or damaged where would you get hold of a replacement for those? Remeber these parts take a lot of hammering they are at the forfront of the hard work done by the motor so they will wear and will need changing at some point.
@@flitsies its not £200, its around 60 pound. You are making issue out of a non issue
Is the seat a literal pain in the goulies?
It is 😆
i can assure you, 50cc is not the equivalent of 72v 🤣
Can you expand or even explain.
