Thanks i enjoy all your content, after being out of racing for 20 years i just got back in a door car with pro cube i learned how to set it from your channel 3 rounds 1st time in a car in 21 years! So thanks again .
Thank you, maybe you can show a example how to punch in the numbers in the box. They look confusing. There is no video like that. Great job, I learned a lot in this video.
Perfect timing, I have been researching delay boxes and when I was looking at the K & R I couldn’t figure out what the Z force actually did. I hate sitting there holding that button, I know what I’m going to buy. Thank you!
So if a track runs crosstalk then do i have to run crossover in my delay box? I imagine if i didn't run crossover it would be very difficult to hit a consistent light. And you said every track runs crosstalk, is that a common thing that is well known or promoted by the track?
Hey William! If a track has cross talk and you are the slower car, then you don’t have to worry about anything, you’ll have a clean normal tree. If you’re the faster car you will have two options normally. Run crossover and react to your tree, or put a big “N” with a circle around it on the side of your car near your dial in. This will tell the tower that you don’t want cross talk on in the event that you are the faster car. That make sense?
@@GallStarTV that does make sense. Appreciate the quick reply. I didn't realize that it could be turned off at the drivers request and i surely didn't know how to do it. So if im the faster car with Cross talk off i am now running my race in my lane and i have the full tree while the opponent has their full tree. There is no more top bulb for both lanes with a delayed tree for the faster car.
William Owens correct. The slower cars steer would come down and then the fast cars tree would come down. Top two bulbs would NOT come on at the same time. One thing to note is that MOST but NOT ALL tracks allow you to opt out of using cross talk. There are a few tracks that make cross talk mandatory, and you would be required to use a cross over delay box. Hope I didn’t just confuse you 😁
This is crap ! A $1,000 race car with $7,000 with of electronix . All can be eliminated by using "instant green". Take those stupid boxes and trash them .

Thanks and great job Don!!
one of the tracks around here, Brewer's Speedway (Sharpsburg NC,) does not have cross-talk as well. it's a little backwoods outlaw track.

Thanks Andrew!!
