Hey Ashley! Just wanted to tell you that I am 41 weeks pregnant with my first baby, scheduled for induction tomorrow night. I've been following your workouts since I discovered them around week 13 or 14 and they have been SO incredibly helpful, providing structure and taking the guesswork out of what is safe to do while being challenging and fun. I am signed up for the 12 week postpartum plan and can't wait to get started with that in not too long. Thanks a million for all that you do - I admire you, your testimony, and your positivity so much! God bless ❤
So I have a conviction against yoga, but I appreciate (since I am following your prenatal plan) that you solely focus on the exercises/stretches, not all the breathing or anything that can be more spiritual (even if that's not the intention). Thanks Ashley!
Anna Caitlyn, This was recorded a few years ago, before I knew the history of yoga. If you continue on to do my 12 Week Post Pregnancy Plan there's no yoga there. Instead, you get Post Pregnancy Mobility Routine (it's a Bonus at the bottom of each clickable workout calendar) and unlike most "postnatal yoga" and "postnatal pilates" this routine is actually Diastasis Recti safe so you can heal your abs properly while getting in an amazing stretch that feels so good after being fairly sedentary in the early weeks pp. In the 10 Minute Plan there's one yoga workout out of the 42 workouts -- I admit that I am not a yoga instructor, never will be, and I'm just a Jesus loving mama, not even knowing the names of most of the moves but sharing what's most healthy for women as far as recovery, flexibility, lymphatic system, & mobility. : )
@@AnnaCaitlyn Most women get the 12 Week Post Pregnancy Plan by the time they are full term (38 weeks). Nutrition goal 1, Recovery Guidance, and Progressive walking routine starts immediately. Watch the WATCH FIRST video right at the beginning -- in there I explain exactly what you need to know about when you, personally, can start Day 1 of Phase 1 officially -- based on your type of delivery and recovery and input from your provider at your postpartum check up.
Never in a million years would I believe I could do any yoga let alone 32 weeks in…without stopping! You’re program is fully comprehensive and each day is vital to success. I found you around 17 weeks I believe and here I am with my husband telling me things every week like “your legs have definition” or “I don’t remember you looking this good with the others” lol 😅or my favorite “you look like you shoved a basketball in your shirt and that’s it!” Thank you for your free program. I’m feeling great thanks to you!
I’m 24w with my second and have been having a lot more back pain than I did with the first. This was on the schedule for me today and PERFECT TIMING because the floor sequence and triangle poses really helped stretch out and loosen my back. So thankful for your prenatal plan! Thanks so much for all you’ve done.
This prenatal yoga video is fantastic! Thankfully, I have been able to continue with most of my regular exercises and work outs throughout my pregnancy, however, especially in the mornings, this is perfect for just helping you feel good! You get so tight and alittle stiff while you are pregnant and this yoga video is amazing for making your body feel loose and tone. I also love the length. I can usually sneak in 20 minutes anytime! I started doing it in my second trimester and am still doing it at 38 weeks! :)
This is my 3rd pregnancy. I gained at the start of pregnancy due to moving and not eating well. I have been able to maintain at 182 for the past month though. Very excited to have a healthy pregnancy and hopefully avoid gestational diabetes this time. Thanks again for your great videos!
I've really been enjoying all your prenatal workouts. So great to not waste time but feel empowered towards a smooth, healthy labor! I'm at 31 weeks (7th baby!) and interested to try your 12 week after baby plan! Thanks, Ashley!!
Glow Body PT Yes! I've really enjoyed the convenience of your solid, efficient UA-cam workouts. Thankful you do what you do. You're an inspiration and an awesome cheerleader to get through pregnancy strong. Excited to get back in shape postnatal too.
Im 28 weeks, withs my second pregnancy and have been following your prenatal routine since 8 weeks. In my last pregnancy, i mainly ran and walked but your strength and stretch classes like this one have been so amazing this time! I feel so much better after doing the routines and am actually energized! Thank you so so much Ashley!!!! ❤ Question: during labor do you do the birthing squats during contractions?
38 weeks today and just did this workout for the first time because I saw it in the “Are you ready to give birth?” email you sent me! It was tough doing some of the lunge and squat moves toward the end, I feel like my legs are very weakened right now with my big swollen feet and giant belly! But I definitely enjoyed this video - thanks Ashley! -Nicole
Nicole, to hear you did this at 38 weeks because I sent you that email encouragement really speaks to me about how MOTIVATED and high-achieving you are. Know that your feelings of weakness are normal -- you are carrying much more than your typical pre-pregnancy weight right now, your body is "off balance", and feet/ankles are starting to swell. Just a few weeks from now you will start feeing better, lighter, perkier, and then if you get on the 12 Week Post Pregnancy Plan your recovery will be that much easier and accelerated, all with peace of mind. I'm excited for you to meet your baby face-to-face in a couple of weeks, congrats to you Nicole.
This is great! Thank you for sharing your exercises. I'm 31 weeks and just started doing prenatal yoga about a week ago. I'll be adding this one to my routine!
I absolutely love this! I am going to do this workout as you recommend, 1-2 week to prepare for labour! Thank you so much and also doing loads of your other prenatal videos. You rock!
I live in Sweden and I've done all your prenatal youtube videos during my pregnancy (combined with some other youtube videos as well, but yours are my favorites). My pregnancy and birth was so comfortable and easy, maybe thanks to your wonderful videos! I gave birth three weeks ago and since then I've still been practicing your great prenatal videos! :)
I enjoyed this yoga sequence. It’s 20 minutes and it showed me that I have lots to work on and I thought I was fit already! Thank you for a quick and effective yoga sequence 🙏🏼

Hey Ashley! I am slowing down while entering into my 3rd trimester and some days I need a more stretch and flow, so would you be willing to create quick, relaxing yoga routines for recovery days??

But I'm noticing the pain and stiffness decreasing since I started doing the this workout almost every day, and I plan to continue it for the last couple weeks. Thanks!
My favorite no frills yoga workout! I needed to comment that the "Warrior 1 pose" was actually Crescent pose (back heel lifted position, vs a wider stance with heel down-- warrior 1). A great stretch sequence nonetheless. Thank you!

I'm 29 weeks, and experiencing a lot of outer hip pain whenever I bend or lean. During the modified half-moon, sitting with my legs out like that really causes pain, as if my hip joints are coming out of alignment. So I'm modifying it further uy having my legs bent in front of me in a semi-circle. Is there a better way to modify that, and is there a way to help train my hips to be able to handle that position?
Hi, I’m doing your 12 week pretworkout. Love them! I’m on week 28 and tomorrow I’m doing Thursday but I’m very confused as what workout video is WU:10 min EZ and CD: 10 min EZ? I’ve looked at your workout videos but I’m still guessing what workout are you referring to if you could please direct me
So what's your workout routine? You do this a couple times a week but what else? Do you do arms on some days? Looking for a good routine for my last trimester!
I tried this video for the first time this morning and I think I'll keep going! I'm having a lot of round ligament pain and sciatica, so I need to step up my stretching. I'm 32 weeks with my very first baby and I'm NOT FLEXIBLE AT ALL. The last time I could touch my toes was when I was a freshmen in high school basketball, and that was at the END of the season. In your video you said you'd be doing this about 2 times a week until labor. For someone like me who is not very flexible and doesn't work out, pregnant or not, would you recommend doing this more than once a week? I was thinking every other day? Too much? I just want to be ready!
This is a great set! Thank you! So, I'm at 37 weeks and wondering what the best things are to do/focus on, in the way of exercising for these last few weeks? Thanks!

I just came across your videos. Wish I found these earlier, but better late than never. I'm 29 weeks and started following along with your prenatal plan. Thanks for all the effort you have put into making your videos and writting up the plan . I just have a couple of silly questions about the plan. Week 29 Thursday- does this just mean go for a walk? Week 30-tuesday what is CD & week 30 -thursday not sure what Wu is? Thanks again, very excited to do all your videos 🙃
I think I saw that in your video about how to prevent diastasis recti, that it’s not recommended to do cat/cow bc that table top position can stress the abs with the baby pushing against it with gravity. I know this video is really old compared to that video, so should I apply your recent advice to this yoga routine and not do it?
Oh my gosh thank you so much for that info!! I'll be looking into it! I love the internet because you and about three other channels have kept me in shape my entire pregnancy, all from my living room. :)
Hey! Thanks for checking in! and yes, baby arrived 3 weeks early on may 20th! He came SOO fast, I didn't even have time for an epidural lol!! I attribute my easy labor to workouts, like these! I have my 6 week check up next week. I've been eating my healthy foods, walking and nursing in the meantime :))
Glow Body PT hey! So I did have my appointment a few weeks ago and I definitely do have diastasis recti. I was pretty certain I had it from my first pregnancy two years ago and it never healed right. Well unfortunately I was stupid and didn't look up the right exercises to do and I did a whole bunch of sit ups and gave myself a hernia under my bellybutton. it won't go away :( now I really have no idea how to exercise my core. I feel like I'm falling apart lol so mad at myself!! I really do want to do your post pregnancy plan but I'm just feeling lost right now and upset that I rushed things :/
Glow Body PT yes I was so excited when I read all about the program on your website!!! Well I am soo ready, I need to order a stability ball and I will get the program within the next week or two. Thanks for always being so supportive and talking me through this! The next few months are gonna rock :)
That's totally ok! Just do what you can, take a break, then get back into it for the duration that you see me squatting. Once baby arrives and gets into a baby bath tub, practice that deep squat position as you hang onto the side of the tub.
So wonderful! Question for you! Is it normal for the birthing squats to be hard on the quads? Just burning and challenging? Eek! Thank you thank you for your incredible pre natal schedule and program! I don’t know what is do without you. You are seriously getting me through my first pregnancy.
Yes birthing squats should be hard when you aren't used to them! Absolutely. Congrats to you on your pregnancy Amanda and for your kind words. I think you'll love my new stretching routine to prepare the body for labor too ua-cam.com/video/b8_6bApD1ec/v-deo.html
I'm pregnant with my second child and after my first I had some ab separation up until my current pregnancy. It's not too much separation but I didn't know if planks, push ups, pull ups, etc. are completely discouraged (not while I'm pregnant though) until my abs heal again or if they'll ever completely heal? Hopefully that makes sense...
Thanks so much for responding! My gap was a little less than one finger but I definitely did not want to do anything to exacerbate that. I'll definitely look into your postpartum workout! Thanks so much for these workouts! I love how they're different everyday, not just a same routine.
Hi Ashley, do you have a different workout that's comparable to this one? I just don't do yoga, but this is up on the calendar for my prenatal workouts so I'm looking for another workout video to replace it with. Thanks!
My legs are on fire, this was amazing! Thank you. I was thinking this yoga was gonna be a breeze, loved that it worked me good! I need to work on those birthing squats🤪

Hi Ashley! First of all I'd like to say thank you for your videos..they're not your average prenatal videos which I feel normally show exercises so easy it's not even worth the time! Yesterday my boyfriend told me off for doing videos that were not aimed at pregnant women and I'll be honest..it was causing me to have contractions one after the other (I'm 26 weeks) SO...I promised him I'd stop being so selfish and stupid and only do videos aimed at pregnancy ( so basically just yours as they are still challenging and not dead boring) The second thing is..I've been trying for a few days to go onto your blog and check out the postpartum plan but I just can't seem to get onto it. Are you having work done on it or is it just me and my computer? Thanks in advance xxx
Thank you so much for replying so quickly! I'll be checking out your plan today...even if Postpartum seems a long way off I need to think about now to stay motivated! I hope you are your two boys are doing well and from now on I will stick to your workouts only to keep my little girl safe in there and as you said..to prevent the separation. Just one more question and I'll stop rambling... I think it's the last exercise in one of your third trimester videos but I don't remember which..you do a burpee without modifying. Burpees were my life before pregnancy but a lot of people advise not to do any frontal planks unless on knees etc. I suppose you just listen to your body and would advise us to do the same? Thanks again xx

Day 1 of week 29 - felt this in the groin big time, especially warrior 3!
@@glowbodypt Haha! Was hoping for it.
Hey Ashley!
U r awesome
Perfect thank you.
You're welcome Nichola! Thank YOU for being here, and congrats on your pregnancy! Have you snagged my Free Prenatal Schedule yet?? www.glowbodypt.com/prenatalworkouts It is a click-and-go calendar that takes you week-by-week through your pregnancy to save you tons of time and ensure you are being safe at exactly your stage in pregnancy. From 33 weeks onward, you know you can continue to use any of my 2nd or 3rd trimester workouts listed past 20 weeks on the schedule as long as your body feels up to it. It speaks a lot about you to be taking such good care of yourself (and baby!) this pregnancy! Hope to get to know you more on Instagram.
38 weeks tomorrow! loved how very short it felt. I loved warrior3 I don't think i've done any in this pregnancy! thanks
Layla you are amazing for doing this at 37+6, and now you're 38 weeks! If you haven't already, get a quick refresher on this vid as you prep for labor ua-cam.com/video/P6nN4IbGKP8/v-deo.html You sound so motivated, I really hope to be connecting with you postpartum on my 12 Week Post Pregnancy Plan in our private group too!
I was wondering why it hurt to walk this morning! ;) Truly felt the soreness in my groin area, that normal?? Gonna try to do it a few times a week to build up those muscles!
Week 30-tuesday what is CD
& week 30 -thursday not sure what Wu is?
Thanks again, very excited to do all your videos 🙃
@@glowbodypt you're a legend! Thankyou for the detailed replied 😃
I think I saw that in your video about how to prevent diastasis recti, that it’s not recommended to do cat/cow bc that table top position can stress the abs with the baby pushing against it with gravity.
I know this video is really old compared to that video, so should I apply your recent advice to this yoga routine and not do it?
Girl this is the hardest yoga I've ever done! Love it! #35weeks :))
Thanks for this. How long should we hold the squat for? Couldn't hold as long as you :/ 🤔
That's totally ok! Just do what you can, take a break, then get back into it for the duration that you see me squatting. Once baby arrives and gets into a baby bath tub, practice that deep squat position as you hang onto the side of the tub.
Hi, this was an awesome video, the only thing I have to say is that the pose you said was warrior 1 is actually high lunge ;)
Glow Body PT thanks :)
Yeah! 29 weeks coming to 30 weeks too! The stretches definitely soothe the aches (back especially), & boy did those quads ache!
Thanks!

@@glowbodypt Wow, thank you for such a quick response! Just completed the video you suggested. 😊
Oh it burns! This is my second time doing it.
My legs are on fire, this was amazing! Thank you. I was thinking this yoga was gonna be a breeze, loved that it worked me good! I need to work on those birthing squats🤪
haha definitely NOT your average prenatal workouts over here on glowbodypt-- my intent is to truly train your body for labor and facilitate a faster postpartum recovery on the 12 Week Post Pregnancy Plan. As you get closer to delivery, you might want to watch this one too: ua-cam.com/video/P6nN4IbGKP8/v-deo.html and my Free Prenatal Program is here: www.glowbodypt.com/prenatalworkouts
More pregnancy yoga videos pls!
Hello, is this okay for first and second trimester?
Yes it is! This is what you need: www.glowbodypt.com/prenatalworkouts
31 weeks and these birthing squats are hard!! I definitely need to be doing this more
They sure are hard, but also keep in mind you are 31 weeks along!
I agree! Each to their own. Don't remove the video though! ;)
