- Talk’s Julia Hartley-Brewer expresses her fury after staff at a school were told that menopause does not just affect women.
A staff bulletin sent out by headteacher Carly Purnell at a secondary academy in West Yorkshire stated “transmen, transwomen and non-binary individuals” also suffer.
Julia discusses the story with spokesperson for The Bad Law Project and former teacher Kevin Lister.

She should be sacked…some of these teachers are harming kids both mentally and physically by pushing this agenda..some of them are completely ignoring the Cass report.
It honestly seems like teachers are getting more and more terrible because of the desperate need for qualified teachers in this country - so they accept literally anyone no matter how bad they are to meet the quotas.
It does work to evidence why there is a need to review teaching salaries - but at the same time only the teachers who can actually perform should get an increased salary while those who can't should remain on low level salaries until they improve or permanently if they don't - act like entry level, be paid at entry level, excel and be rewarded is how it should work.
Head teacher Purnell should not be educating anybody. The woman must be sacked immediately and never be allowed to teach again.

My eldest daughter is intellectually disabled and she had a partial hysterectomy so she didn't have a period. She still went through puberty which was a pain and now she is going through menopause. She is in supported accommodation and the carers didn't know why she was crying for no reason. Soon as I saw what was happening I realised and the doctor confirmed it. She is on medication to tone it down. If men want periods and menopause have it so they know what we as women go through

It is great to see Mr. Lister in this role. I am a teacher myself and I was sickened at how he was treated (banned from teaching!) He is a courageous and honorable man.

I’m a nightmare, and I’m constantly apologising to my husband, who has been so understanding. I’m fine…..then, I’m a nut! Out of nowhere! It’s horrible, and please know that your wife is really struggling too. It has been the most difficult thing I’ve ever experienced, and I’ve had epilepsy since I was 11 years old! 😯

No Julia, mine are in a Church school and I asked what they are taught and was told they are taught there are 2 dominant genders…. ! I have asked what the non dominant genders are and awaiting a reply! So still being taught gender ideology as fact!
Well there are some who are not one or the other when born so technically correct! But the percentage is miniscule! However is is caused by development in the womb, not choice!

Only solution to this is for Parents to remove their Children en masse from Schools like this. That action would draw attention to the local MP and then the Government. Unless a stance like that happens, this form of indocrination will continue.

I am glad I no longer have to send my son out to school. I would honestly be worried every morning. I believe their minds are being abused now. Child abuse every day in schools. I don't think I could comfortably send a child out to school nowadays.
