@@THROTTLEPOWER it’s hard not to sell a Nomad with the demand lately, even mildly overpriced Nomads sell quickly. I know I want one, but I have a sport sedan budget…. lol..
Dang those prices for the one's needing work is insane. Pricing enthusiasts who could actually enjoy them right out of the market. Those prices will kill off future owners.
Lot of guys doing that today cause you can get a 4 door for a quarter of a similar quality 2 door would sell for and from what I understand, it’s not that involved or expensive to convert one and if you plan on hanging on to one to enjoy and use as a driver, then that’s the perfect way to get into one without blowing the budget.
@1982MCI a lot of people are making 2dr sedans out of 4dr sedans, haven't seen a single 4dr hardtop converted to 2dr hardtop , you need to Google the difference
From G-town. I had planned on going to the TRI FIVE Nationals this year. But the wife had knee surgery. But I do have a question for you. What seems to be an average price for nice driver with heat and air and disc brakes. My 1935 Ford was a show car that was built in 1974 and I bought in 1990 and put 100,000 miles on it. I do not need a show car to impress people with. My first car in 1966 was a 1957 four door 210, I painted it Sunfire Yellow after the Hot Rod 57. Maybe I will get to meet you at a model car show around here if I could get the dates for them.
Hope recovery goes good with your wife. The prices are all over the board, really depends on what make, model, year, how up to date the car is and how many doors (2 dr vs. a 4 dr). So I could not give you an honest answer. Also, I've seen "drivers" as low as 5ish thousand dollars to 10, 15, 20, 30+ thousand dollars. Just really depends on what it is.
All the fifty cars the owners are going down on the nineteen fifty milesAll the 50 cars the owners are dying off and the prices are going down on the 1950 models.
@@THROTTLEPOWER I appreciate that but “miss crazy” (ex midnite express) is still being wrapped up as fast as Bidenomics allows. Good job on this I think you just about got every car. Big fan of your channel
Wow . Too many 4 - doors! Careful.....seen a couple missing hard to get trim parts, very dirty for $30 k A #2-3 car is optional.....a driver with patina is best ...do brakes first before any outing ....new wheel cylinders, new master...no kits! New gas tank...redon sender and gauge. ,a must . ! .
Very cool 🤙 you should be able to get around there. I just found a 32 5 window all steel 50's custom. I think it is on a short on my channel in the 58 corvette short I believe

Lots of nice ones Tim, a little out of my budget, but it doesn’t cost anything to look and dream! 👍👍
You and me both Jeff! 😉
Blue 55 4dr would be an awesome 2dr conversion
Yes it would
The black 57 sport coupe was the best buy there in my opinion the first one

Or the yellow 55 Chevy 2 dr hardtop.
The second one though sure was purdy. But if the price ain’t listed you can’t afford it.

The yellow Nomad sold pretty quickly, saw a "Sold" sticker on it on Day 2 I think, definitely before the end.
I thought that would sell over the weekend.
