I’m part of the Bulgarian Church. I love seeing other traditional Orthodox, and hope that we may soon see the traditional Orthodox jurisdictions reunited to each other, whether “Old Calendarist,” or “Traditional World Orthodox.”

Today the Old and Authentic ROCOR is the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad (ROCA) that was formed in 1920 by bishops who were forced to leave their homeland along with millions of Russian people, all fleeing the horrors of the communist system. The ROCA bishops, clergy, and laity remain loyal to the original mission of an independent ROCA.
Despite protests from within the ranks of bishops, clergy, and laypeople, on May 17, 2007, a large part of the ROCA entered into Eucharistic communion with the MP with the signing of the “Act of Canonical Communion” and is now known as the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia (ROCOR - MP). The Moscow Patriarchate (MP) and the current ROCOR-MP do need to repent of the heresies of Ecumenism and Sergianism.
The smaller part of ROCA that chose to remain loyal to the historical Russian Orthodox Church and to continue the mission of the ROCA is not in Eucharistic communion with the Moscow Patriarchate (MP), the state-controlled official Russian Church.
The Churches of the ROCA remnant are present today in the Diaspora District of ROCA. The list of Parishes is present on the rocana and auroca web sites. The ROCA Churches are located in Australia, New Zealand, St. Petersburg, as well as in the U.S. and Canada.
For these who would like to understand more about the history of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad (ROCA) they can read the article "ROCA the Beacon Of Light" by Protopriest Nikita Grigoriev on the rocana web site.
Also, we remember that the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad (ROCA) Council of Bishops in August 1983 in the person of its Metropolitan Philaret of New York (1903-1985), noting the extent of the Ecumenist contagion, issued an Anathema to Ecumenism in the straight line of the Holy Fathers, condemning anyone who participated in this heresy.
When the Church pronounces anathema on a certain heresy, we must NOT forget that it is for eternity.
Anathema to Ecumenism (1983)
"To those who attack the Church of Christ by teaching that Christ’s Church is divided into so-called “branches” which differ in doctrine and way of life, or that the Church does not exist visibly, but will be formed in the future when all “branches” or sects or denominations, and even religions will be united into one body; and who do not distinguish the priesthood and mysteries of the Church from those of the heretics, but say that the baptism and eucharist of heretics is effectual for salvation; therefore, to those who knowingly have communion with these aforementioned heretics or who advocate, disseminate, or defend their new heresy of Ecumenism under the pretext of brotherly love or the supposed unification of separated Christians, Anathema!

Did the Russian Church Abroad, prior to 2007, ever have a synodal statement that *sergianism is condemned as a heresy*?
I do not deny it is a major error, but I would like to point out that Blessed Fr Seraphim Rose makes a big deal about this fact..

I’m not asking for individual anathemas. I am asking if the Russian Church Abroad ever had a conciliar condemnation of sergianism as a heresy. It seems that at least around the time of blessed Fr Seraphim Rose, the answer is no..
I’m devout Roman Catholic, without question, but this is easily one of my top five go-to channels for theological insight. It doesn’t compete with, but enriches and broadens, my understanding in way that’s as unique and beautiful as the Orthodox ambiance. The things we believe that Orthodox disbelieves, so far as I’m concerned, are entirely negligible. Even if I disagree with the assessment and stance, at least I get to better understand someone else’s perspective. Honestly, I’m just so happy to have a wider range of sources now that I have discovered Orthodox with its beautiful theology and traditions. Roman Catholicism is in a weird way rn. It’s lost its sense of mystery, along with the West, so the theology can often quite bland. Still, I believe it, just waiting for it to blossom.
Protestantism I can’t even bother with. It’s like choosing Wonder Bread when there’s a plenty of fresh readily available. What’s the point?
So, yeah, I’m very happy about Orthodox tradition. I agree that it’s vital to always keep unity as the hope and goal. ☺️☦️❤️

I have been watching this UA-cam channel for some time and have moved, spiritually, by the Metropolitan’s sermons. I would love to plan a pilgrimage to this monastery but am concerned because I am part of the Patriarchate of Antioch. I know I would not be allowed to receive communion at the monastery however, I would still want to go to receive spiritual nourishment. Would I be welcomed to spend time here? Thank you in advance

I'm no theologian. I'm going to try and do the following and don't sweat the small stuff. Love the Lord your God with all you heart, soul, mind, and strength and love your neighbor as yourself. Be watchful of the intellect and repel the mental suggestions of the demons/devil. Develop humility: Be keenly aware of the depth of my depravity and sin; be aware and grateful for God's longsuffering and graciousness towards me; know that I cannot overcome evil or do anything good on my own without God's grace (I'm God's eternal debtor); view others as superior to myself; never judge another (That's God's responsibility). With God's help, struggle for dispassion. Learn stillness and prayer. These will keep me and anyone else quite busy. Consider me an unlearned foolish man, but, I'm not worried about a calendar.

So for now, I'll continue to attend the church where l was baptized in 1959. Zodohos Peghe in the Bronx N Y. I love your message of unity among the Eastern Orthodox. I'm. Curious to know what Saints Paisios and Porphyrios say about the calendar issue. I would appreciate any information on that. God love you.

Maybe look at the New Calenderists who murdered and tortured Old Calenderists in Greece. Try reading history before making a dumb statement.
As a Orthodox Christian convert I've seen the inner polemics rip people apart. I'm in the GOA but started as a old calenderist, I'm not a new calenderist but I haven't found the perfect infallible Bishop. I don't deny grace in the old calenderist groups and hopefully we'll end false reunion ecunumerists in the heterodox protestants starting in 1054 & get Orthodoxy right with each other in Holy Orthodoxy

Forgive me, a sinner, for asking a question that you might have already answered either in another video or perhaps in an article, but I simply have failed to find it. It is on a topic that you've probably dealt with before many times and probably just having another person ask it might be irritating, however the only thing I have found about it is an article written by you about the fact that he has made the accusations but actually provided no proof of it. So I want to fully understand the whole situation:
Archbishop Gregory of Denver has accused you (GOC Kallinikos) of being secret Kyprianites, that in 1997 you guys started to commune the Kyprianite "resistors" and that once kyprian died in 2013, Kallinikos accepted the remaining "resistors" without any repentance or any sort of Reform, and I haven't found anything about it on your side whether on your website or in any of your videos; at least from what I've seen. Again, as I said, I might have failed to find the answer that's so clearly there. I'm very good at not finding answers when I'm looking for them. And by no means am I making the same accusation, as I said: I don't really know I myself grew up in the OCA and I spent a couple of years with the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Canada, and I've been to some ROCOR/ROCA churches and I've been to some Serbian churches so Genuine Orthodox Church is kind of a New Concept to me, so the squabbles, if we can call them that, between your group and Archbishop Gregory of Denver is very confusing to me. Now one thing I will give you guys is you at least let people leave comments on your videos, which his does not allow: I am leery of that, but perhaps it's because he and everybody he's with seem to be in a monastery. So it would make sense that monastics wouldn't spend their whole day going through UA-cam comments and answering every single comment, that doesn't sound like a good spiritual discipline. Maybe that's all it is, I'm hoping anyways. What's your take on Gregory of Denver, and what is the truth behind the Relationship between Kallinikos and "The Resistors" under Kyprian? Also, what's the GOC Kallinikos vs. GOC Gregory beef about? I ask only because everything you have said concerning ecumenism and Orthodox life and spirituality and theology is in line with what Archbishop Gregory says but it seems he's under the idea that GOC under Kallinikos has become ecumenist via Kyprian and that as far as he's concerned: you are only a deceiver of the innocent. Even his latest video for the Second Sunday after Pentecost he says that you guys were secretly Kyprianites, and that you guys were secretly ecumenists and that you're trying to put on a facade that you are not but in reality that you are. what do you say about that? Because I'm trying to figure out just what's going on? should I listen to you? should I listen to Archbishop Gregory? is he a crack-pot, are you crackpots? I don't really know what's going on so I figured, while I can't ask him because I can't leave a comment on any of his videos, (and my email isn't working for some reason concerning international emails. I want to follow God, and be truly Orthodox, and while both GOC's say the same thing, you ignore Gregory, and he's always talking about Kallinikos. I mean, mud slinging isn't very Christian, but safeguarding the Church is (or should be) paramount for a Bishop, so exposing heresy and those who adhere to heresy should be examined and exposed by Bishops. Great. But what do you say about Gregory's Accusations? Confirm them, with proof? Deny them, with proof? Is he a disgruntled Bishop? Or did you guys do what he claims you did as his reason for departing from you? What say you? I hope I'm making sense, and again: you've probably answered this before. If there is an article, or video I just haven't seen, found, or knew about, that would be greet.
Thank you for your questions. We pretty much ignore "Archbishop" Gregory of Colorado as 99.9% of people do. No one takes him seriously. Probably everyone who writes comments here will tell you so. If you want answers, you should contact the fathers of St. John Monastery in Cobleskill.

Absolutely, the True Church of Greece and Cyprus “still,, exists and still awaits patiently for the repentance and return of those who have wandered away and accepted the strange doctrines. The Church always leaves the door open for the return of the prodigal sons.

@@vigilantchristian6314If it was all about numbers, then the holy Church of Greece ( Matthewite ) would be the most numerous. Due to the spirituality, patience and understanding of the holy Father’s the Holy Synod is very diligent in who to receive from the various schismatic bodies and world orthodoxy.
Unfortunately even in this short video, the Bishop is very selective about the information that he chooses to put forward. The GOC-Matthewite synod is the only one who ( old calendarist) ceased communion with ROCOR and did so by encyclical to ROCOR in 1975.
The following year the ROCOR synod stopped and openly severed communion with the followers of the so called neo-Florenite’s ( since Bp. Chrysostom +1955 ) who did not leave anyone inheritance of the Apostolic lineage. So basically ROCOR was in communion with the latter group from 1969-1976; and then again with a micro-schism of that group from 1994-2007.
A few ecclesiastical minded and God fearing Clergy were canonically released by Rocor , prior to the reconciliation with Moscow, but at the same time how many that were suspended from Priestly duty were also received? The Church canons specifically stipulate the consequences of serving by the suspended one and the unfortunate ones co-concelebrating with them.
The Church Canons also order that any Man above the age of 12 years old who has sinned bodily ( sexual relations ) cannot be ordained or a Woman who has likewise sinned prior to marriage, cannot be a Presbytera/Matushka.
These are some of the reasons why the Church of the GOC-Matthewite are not so numerous, but rather fearful and selective in following the narrow thorny path, which leads to the heavenly Jerusalem on high.
Even when the official Communion broke, they still recognized each other. In Astoria, they continued to be officially in Communion. The priest from St. Markella told me that he hosted the bishops every year after the ROCOR Synod meetings. Even though I'm not GOC, I have a lot of friends there.

I agree (even as one attending a new calendar parish) that there shouldn't be concelabration because there's no agreement on what day it is concerning the liturgy.
The schism was created by the new calendarists forcing this on the laity and the subsequent persecution of those who chose not to accept the decision.
Hopefully and prayerfully I hope this issue is resolved, but I see it not too much different than the iconoclast period where it took hundreds of years to return to truth.
If the EP goes through with the false union to Rome my hope is that the laity and clergy will rise up against it. Unfortunately, as a current member of goarch I really don't see an uprising happening because the members have been lulled into sleep by priests and bishops.
I love the Faith and my parish, but I see my time is most likely short remaining in this jurisdiction. It breaks my heart. Thank you your eminence for your wisdom

Ecumenism is a heresy so if you thought of it as a bad thing then sure. Russian, Serbian, Romanian, Greek Orthodoxy etc etc are all Eastern Orthodox and there is nothing Ecumenical about it. We are simply the same. We follow the saints. Anyone who claims ecumenism and modernization is going off the path.
Anyone who wishes to deny such simple truth should pray to St Gregory Palamas for enlightenment on the matter. We know what makes us Orthodox and what makes someone Heterodox. The church has prevailed and will continue to prevail amidst Clowns like Bartholomew and Elpidophoros. They if they stay their course will fall away and others will come to lead the flock in their stead.
I´m not Greek Orthodox. I am Serbian Orthodox and I pray for all Greeks to stay true and let God deal with these "clowns of innovation". God´s faith is perfectly revealed and we Orthodox don´t innovate. Innovation is what made the Roman Catholics heterodox in the first place.
