My first in the United series. This seems like a good one to start with. Going for Friends, Asylum, Suicide Squad and the playmat. You basically confirmed my thoughts. 👌
If you like the overall system, then this is perfect for sure. The different expansions actually offer different ways to play (more than the previous campaigns) and given that this is essentially the 4th in the United campaign line, they have clearly put in a lot of effort with the different modes and decks (even improving the solo mode) to really make it worth it.
Not backing, Have the All-in OG campaign and I’ve got Multiverse pledge coming soon - Not the biggest DC fan (love Batman though) I’ll just pick up the core, Breakout and Gotham city boxes when they come to retail at 25-30 dollars a pop with free shipping on amazon (instead of paying 50+ for shipping through the campaign). Missing out on Mr. Freeze and Commish Gordon but they aren’t worth the $100 extra for me.
@@siriactuallysara I didn’t say I was going to purchase the SG box. CMON will release DC Super Heroes core box for retail. As well as Breakout and Gotham City. None of those are kickstarter exclusive (but do have a few kickstarter exclusive characters attached to them that I will miss out on) Edit: If you are referring to selling on eBay/secondary market you are correct. I’ve never done that though
Excellent coverage! I think Suicide Squad is top expansion pick, because of gameplay+exclusivity. Arkham Asylum looks amazing also, but I'd probably forego the two bonus characters to pick it up cheaper at retail. Did you end up backing anything here?
I have a friend in the gaming group who is going all in and he has everything else so I'll play his. We try not to double up in the group if we can help it.
12 boxes in the all in seems like an absolute nightmare. The majority of the content in two boxes for just $65 plus (expensive) shipping makes much more sense.
I am into DC much more than Marvel, so this was right in my wheelhouse as i enjoyed the game of Marvel united i played

I came close to backing the X-Men version of united but decided against in the end. DC United is one I can't resist.

Ummm. The stretch goal box will cost much more then 100 after market. So you’re not correct.
