Chicken tractor with first-class lever

  • Our new chicken tractor holds 6 happy chickens happily.
    It is easily moved on two lawn-tractor style wheels underneath it.
    To lift it up onto the tires I used a first class lever design (think teeter-totter).
    When I step on the pedal, the tractor is lifted up onto the wheels and moves like a huge garden cart.
    You see, the wheels act like the fulcrum, and the weight of the tractor is lifted easily using my weight multiplied by the leverage of the pedal.

    Absolutely gorgeous mate, loved it. My parents used to have chickens and i miss having chickens. If i ever move where i have some extra land i must do something similar. Greetings from Australia
