Awesome video. I just ordered this bike without knowing all these stuffs. Its just the anxiety to own this bike. Keep us updated on the different types of bike settings and whats the best settings for different terrains including uphill.
Thanks for the kind words! It’s a great bike - I’m sure you’ll love it! We’ll report back our experiences as Mili gets a proper chance to ride it when spring rolls around. Thanks again!
I'm currently torn between regular and evo, leaning slightly towards the evo. Some great deals on in UK at the moment and I'm not bothered if they're about to change the model slightly. I ride an 18 year old Enduro so I'm thinking anything will feel quicker on the flat and climbs.
Great vid..! I bought the only Evo available in my area...the Carbon and after spending 10k cdn I realized how many thing I like and hate. Id recommend changing the 19 tooth rear to the 54 and the fee play is terrible.
Hey Scott, CAD 10k is a chunk of change for sure. You’d hope to love everything about it for that money. The main issue I have with the Comp Alloy is the NX cassette can’t be upgraded to GX without a new hub. That said, NX isn’t a bad group set but for the money I’d have preferred a Deore set-up. High quality problem admittedly!
Hey Flash. If you are referring to the goop added to the flip chip bolt, its actually a thread locking compound which stops the bolt loosening. Let me know if I didn’t answer your question. Thanks for checking out the video!
Maybe. I think the difference is pretty subtle and they mostly ride these bikes down hill. Plus my daughter is now 5’8” which changes the calculus a bit. Thanks for checking out the video.
REALLY GREAT VIDEO ON A TON OF DIFFERENT LEVELS!!! Thank you for making this!
That’s very kind of you to say so! Thanks for checking out the video!

Can I use just about any grease?

Nice, but when using torque wrench always make second- confirming klick. First one for many reasons can be false.
Thanks very much for the feedback. I’ve not been aware of that one before but something I’ll add to the repertoire!
Thatll make it a pig for the kid to ride
