Episode 4 of my cobbled together footage from 2013. Felix crashed hard when part of his front rim sheared off on a big descent and we had to hitch a ride into the nearest town (Kulob). His Xray was inconclusive so I rode on while he hitched to Khorog to have a few days off the bike. And so I was alone for the first time on the trip. I had several great days riding along the Tajik-Afgan border and had a run-in with the guys in the thumbnail.

Thanks for asking! He had to nurse it for a while and it put an end to his bike trip but he still managed to travel a while longer via other means before going home. He made a full recovery.
