New MS Treatment Helps Young Man Get Back to Living

- Meet 22 year old Shawn Bollinger, a central Ohioan who became the first man in the state to be treated for MS with a new drug called Alemtuzumab. Join 10TV’s Tracy Townsend as she checks in with Bollinger.
Did you know that multiple sclerosis (MS) is the leading cause of disability in young adults? Characterized as a disease that affects the central nervous system, the effects of MS are typically different for everyone who has the disease. These effects range from symptoms that are mild and don’t require treatment, to symptoms that make performing daily tasks incredibly difficult.
Bollinger has an aggressive form of this disease, referred to as relapsing MS.
Although cautiously optimistic about the new MS treatment at first, Bollinger is now at a loss for words as to how positive the results have been. Freed from debilitating relapses after receiving his first round of treatment, he breezed through his movement tests during a 7 month follow-up with neurologist Aaron Boster.
As explained by Dr. Boster, the new MS treatment works by shutting down a patient’s auto-reactive inflammatory immune response, which stops disease-related attacks from occurring. So far, this has been the outcome experienced by Bollinger, who says he has been able to “Do anything he wants and is perfectly capable of everything.”
A two-part process, the first round of Bollinger’s treatment involved five straight days of therapy during which the drug Alemtuzumab was infused. The second round was set to take place a year later, at which point the drug will be given for just three consecutive days. Bollinger is scheduled to begin part two in March of 2016.

I had a cousin that passed away. It was over 20 yrs ago. She was bedridden, uncontrollable sweats. It broke my heart. Something set in her body. I never understood because people always said u don't pass away from this disease. I was young but I still remember.
The coimbra protocol is the cure for multiple sclerosis and all autoimmune diseases. I have been fortunate enough to see thousands of successful cases of people who no longer even saw or walked back to having a totally normal life. This treatment was developed by the doctor PH.D. Cícero Galli Coimbra who is a neurologist and professor at the Federal University of São Paulo, Brazil.
therapeutic dosages of vitamin D
generally superior to what the pharmaceutical industries recommend
this is a medical treatment that must always be carried out under the supervision of a qualified doctor
Vitamin D is actually a D3 hormone
Its main function in the human body is to regulate and enhance innate immunity
So it is able to silence autoimmune diseases.
This protocol also corrects levels of other vitamins and minerals such as magnesium
to avoid kidney overload
Drink at least 2.5 liters of water per day
Restrictive calcium diet
Do not consume foods such as: all dairy products (milk, yoghurts, cheeses), as well as chestnuts, dried fruits, canned sardines, orange juice, açaí, etc.
Thousands of academic publications provide the efficacy of vitamin D in autoimmune diseases such as multiple sclerosis, Crohn's disease, Vitiligo, Psoriasis, Type 1 diabetes, Sjögren's syndrome, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, autism ...
Vitamin D has about 80 functions in our body
Vitamin D is the largest regulator of activity in the immune system
When vitamin D is deficient, the patient is unable to regulate, which means stimulating or reducing the activity of thousands of biological functions within the cells of the immune system.
You only need to go on a calcium-free diet if you are going to take more than 20,000 ui a day of vitamin d3, if you want to take that 20,000 ui dose every day you do not need medical monitoring or diet, this will help a lot to reverse symptoms. In more serious cases, I recommend monitoring with the doctors associated with Coimbra, they prescribe many times more than 100,000 units a day, but this is done with monitoring, exams and a calcium-free diet.
You don’t pass away from MS disease. MS IS JUST A COMMON DISEASE MATE

Hi I'm from the uk my mum has m.s do u know if we can do that in the uk please
Hey, Lemtrada use in the UK has been halted recently due to a few adverse side affects found in people that have took it, my partner (23) finished her second round of Lemtrada last summer when they were starting to slow down how many people were getting the treatment, however anyone who had completed their first round were allowed to continue and finish. Lemtrada is given to MS suffers with RRMS not PPMS or SPMS and from what I've read it's most effective for people that haven't took another form of DMT. From my partners experience I couldn't recommend the treatment more highly, she went from having 3/4 relapses in 6 months to being relapse free for nearly 2 years now, which is doing exactly what we thought it would do and has helped slow down this terrible disease, if you're looking for help contact the MS society, they're a brilliant charity that can provide guidance or reach out to your mum's neurologist and hopefully they can give you some suggestions.

Now you know where "we" rank, don't you? We rank 37th. Meaning you can leave the country and get better, I'll say it again, BETTER health care. I like the STUDY from 2017 where "we" rank 54th with Macedonia, you read that correct, coming in 55th. The Ukraine's found the cure to MS in 1987.
