Ah Bobby what a footballer he was my childhood player. I was so lucky to meet him later on in my life. I said hello Bobby and and said hello back and asked me how i was doing. A real gentleman of the pitch.
He always liked to score against Scotland. I watched the Portugal game with my uncle and my dad on an old black and white telly (no colour in 1966). We all feared the great Eusebio who was the danger man, but Nobby Stiles did a fantastic job of marking him. I saw him score many great goals down the years and was at Stamford Bridge for his last game in a United shirt. A true gent and England's finest player.

When i was young I watched England v Scotland at Wembley.. Bobby Charlton was just amazing to watch. HE ran the game. I was in a train carriage with Scottish fans on my way home and THE Scots were talking. AYE that Bobby Charlton what a player! coming from Scottish fans I think that was some compliment..

When I say two footed im not talking about only shooting with both legs but also to carry, manipulate and dribble with the left leg like Charlton does in videos of himself. I saw Zidane do it naturally, Nedved as well and then Ousmane Dembele.

Rivera often LAUNCHED (not passed a few meters) the ball with his left foot, when he was in that position (if you watch a video about him by Barbosa here on UA-cam, you'll see he uses his left foot quite a lot). As for Nedved, you're right, he kicked the ball sometimes with his left. As for Zidane, he used to make the ball go between his feet as a dribble (sort of croqueta, but on the spot). And of course he used often the ruletas, in which you must use both feet. But I also remember he used often the outside of his right in passing, usually not a great sign for a two footed player, but whatever, everyone is entitled of their opinion
I respect your opinion. I consider two footed players to be those who actually can carry the ball easily with their weaker foot at and Zidane did it but not near the frequency of Charton from the low quantity of footage there is of Charlton which says alot about how natural. There have been many players who can shoot, dribble or pass with their weaker foot but the way Bobby Charlton used his weaker foot is very rare. I think Ousmane Dembele is the closest to Charlton that ive seen, even more so than Zidane in my opinion. To literally carry the ball with more than 4 touches of the alledged weaker foot is very uncommon @@davidemaglio5745

Saw Charlton play for Newcastle Utd in a testimonial in the 70s.. After retirement .. Best player on the pitch by a million miles.. Absolute quality .. Cruyff has him in his dream team. Enough said.
