I constantly see this type of thing, someone always trying to save someone who is in danger. Or opening a crate they shouldn’t. It usually has the same outcome. Curiosity really kills.
ever heard of cern,, the atom bomb,, haarp,, fermilabs,, humans love to go to places they are forbidden. what human ever found a box or a door and didn't open it,,even if there are warnings not to open,,, just makes us want to find out even more,,,

That was really excellent. The plot, the mood, acting, the sound tracks, and camera work. The way she transformed in the create and how she screamed over the guys body while her face turned green, 10+ Thank you for sharing..

That scream of hers when the two guys return and she’s face deep in his neck...that’s one of the best demonic horror sounds if I ever heard one. I would probably shit my pants while trying to find my feet to the ground and run. That’s a sound I never want to hear, let alone in the woods...even in daylight! I gotta listen to that a couple more times. Oh, and great short.

@The Phantom No, it's not obvious. Many people will know what it means in English but not in Spanish.
The subtitles don't show the translation when one of the workers said he was going to distract the man and asks for "agua" which means "water".
@The Phantom Bueno, por tu soberbia y si todo te parece una obviedad supongo que hablarás español perfecto. No supongas que todo el mundo escuchó tal o cual palabra porque no sabés si es así. De hecho no todo el mundo sabe. Y lo de la traducción fue un error porque por más que parezca "obvio" no pueden dejar de traducir una oración. Y "agua" no viene de "aqua". Fin.

She said i won't hurt you i just want your help but leaned over to him. Was it a kiss or a tear throat out. It ended on a cliffhanger.
I think she will stick with him for a little bit until she gets what she needs.

The guy who hired them was her husband, he was the man in the blood stained photo. Perhaps he still couldn't stand the idea of killing her so opted to imprison her.

I think it's more so that he killed her lover, and she was on the run and got revenge.
He may have loved her, but he definitely should have staked and burned her, not buried her hoping the duct tape would hold.

Very good film. Love how small pieces of our social culture is mixing in more and more and more. I'm a huge horror fan, doubled down by fan of foreign language film ... reading subtitles makes me happy.
Just curious, if a man could pull open the lid of a crate like that with just a shovel and bare hands, how did it manage to hold a much stronger vampire inside. Moreover the crate is way too big that would easily allow movement inside and the vampire could use the space to break it open. The crate should be as small as possible to confine the movement, making it harder to break open from inside.
Anyways the acting and the story line was superb. I love it.
Hey! Thanks so much for the kind words - glad you love it :) As far as the box goes I'd look at the inside of the crate again. Maybe some white crosses drawn on the inside could keep her in ;)

@@patrickmason1823 The crosses keep her from removing the lid, but not from getting out of the crate once it's opened? So they're magic lid-sealing crosses?
@@ForwardEarth There were crosses on the lid too (but we cut that shot for other reasons) so she was supposed to be boxed in on all sides. Once the lid is gone she has an opening without crosses (or anything out) to get out. It was a minor detail that I played subtly in the edit since Leo didn't really know what to think of what he was seeing and it remains from his perspective, so even though there was a clear logic in my head I didn't necessarily spell it out, but I'm glad people are engaging with it enough to notice / call it out!
Well it contains jump scares.
I heavily praises the acting skills of entire cast, very well acted...
