Hey Scotty, Sheldon here. I’ve really been enjoying The Three Amigos series of videos. Good times, and educational. Love how you talked about God in the last video.
@@scootertrampscotty when you had very limited funds, but wanted to set out on the journey, you spoke to God, basically leaving it in His hands. He love courageous men that have a sense of adventure. King David, as a teen, killed a lion with his bare hands. And God referred to him as a man after His own heart. That’s a pretty big compliment. Remember the story of David and Goliath? That’s the same guy. I have a 2022 H-D Street Bob, and when my dog passes, I’m gonna hit the road on it for as long as possible.
@@SheldonBrown567 have you read Scottys book?? If not I'd highly recommend buying a copy. You read it and you will undoubtedly what Scotty means when he said he was riding down the road and the entire story came to him.. I believe in God and after I read his book it reinforced lessons that I had been taught throughout the past years by God. I'm not someone's who spends their free time reading books either, unless it's something that is going to help me understand something or help my soul to grow.
@@bendaves77 I have a degree in English literature, and have fell in love with many books, but now I simply read the Bible everyday. But I’d like to read his book, yeah.
@SheldonBrown567 I don't have any fancy degrees.. my education came from the school of hard knocks and from the outlaw type of guys who are well into their 60s now.. I had a profound spiritual experience 4 years ago last week and it forever changed me.. it was the day that I asked God into my life.. I read the biblical and listen to old videos from guys like David Wilkerson. Scottys book is worth the few dollars Amazon has it listed for. I knew it wasn't about his life but didn't really know what to expect especially after I heard him say that he was given the book in almost a download situation because you never know who's giving the information.
