Battery could be dying, or a wheel speed sensor. If it's a complete christmas tree of dash lights on first start, it's often the battery on VWs. For some reason they're sensitive to voltage not being absolutely correct.
I would say the same, typical for VAG cars to throw up all those error messages when reconnecting a battery, so it's possible that if the voltage drops low enough the car is shutting those systems down to try and keep enough juice to be able to start again.
I see you didn't wait for the glow plugs signal to go out before you started the engine. This will cause your glow plugs to burn out quicker so I've been informed. Also I find turning off the engine and then opening the car door can act as a reset for the cars brain. Good luck, I'll be watching for more updates.
I’d lean towards one of the abs sensors? I’d connect an OBDeleven and monitor the wheel speed values, plus also look at what codes are being generated. Good luck, look forward to hear how you resolved this. Good luck and keep the vids coming. I’m itching to updrade from my mk7 2.0tdi GT model to a GTD 🤩

Had the same changed the battery and all is well
I would say your battery voltage could be low. I would replace the battery first.
Didn’t think of that, thanks 🙏
I’d say there’s a good chance it’s this especially if it’s the original battery, can start to throw all sorts of erroneous faults

GTD mk7 forum says common fault with an abs sensor?

it’s either battery or abs sensor- from a fellow gtd owner nothing to worry about and easy fix
Thanks for the info - makes me feel more positive 😅
please let us know what the root cause was once you find out and get it done🙏🏽

Yep, going to see what fault codes I get back. It'll be interesting. Thanks for the comment and you gotta get that GTD 😎
I think it’s a battery issue.. not sure tho
Let us know if you fix it👍
Thanks and I will update on the outcome as soon as I get it sorted 👍
Rear ABS sensor?
Thanks - I've read about poss ABS sensors and hopefully I'll get it diagnosed soon. Battery has also been suggested so we'll soon find out!
Abs sensors 2 min job, buy a code reader.
Just done it on my alltrack.
👍
