For 10 bucks shooting 145 average and compact yeah it’s worth it. I remember having a mini dart blaster that shot 1 dart at a time it was fun shooting at my family members randomly or just having it on hand playing around. I think Nerf made this gel blaster to fill in that segment. And the performance is way better than the foam mini blasters since it’s gel. This will not compete with the other gel blasters that fire full auto or 200fps. But for just having fun around the house shooting at family members or friends or shooting at cans for $10 bucks it’s not bad.
It's such an unexpected item, it's not even listed on the wiki right now I fairly like how small and inconspicuous it looks. You wouldn't use it as a backup blaster, but more as a concealed carry
It’s interesting that Nerf is still running with Gel Ball, I honestly thought they would drop it like Hyper. Cool little concept, thanks for the review! Hey what’s that white stuff on the ground there 😂?
They definitely won't drop it with all their legal efforts towards it, but I definitely think Hyper seems to be done. At least that's what it looks like right now!
It's not bad but the only real problem I have is when you tip it over you will lose your ammo. The dual wields have a contraption where they don't fall out. I love the ignitor design but the hopper is the biggest flaw of them all
Accuracy seems about the same. Power somehow goes to the Duel Wield pack in my testing. Despite its poor hopper design and heavy trigger pull. Personally, I do prefer the Duel Wield pack!
I just got the blaster and it constantly jammed over and over and nothing was coming out of the barrel and I filled it with as many as it needed and still didn’t fire so I’m taking my money back when I can 😒
Ignitor started to appear in Targets earlier this week, gonna cop one today for my birthday. Seems like a fun blaster to use. Update: After using it for a few hours, it's a decent blaster. Took a bit to get used to since I'm a weak guy lol. If you're going to use it as a primary, very bad tbh, 5/10, but if it's an emergency backup, 8/10, just wished it was a bit smaller, cuz its really big for an emergency backup.
Something I noticed is, when the Ignitor is fully loaded, it seems to shoot out multiple gel balls at once, kinda like a shotgun. It doesn't shotgun as much after a while but it does a lot when full. Does it happen with yours too?@@foamquest
Any idea why my gelballs just roll out the barrel when the blaster is pointed down? Imlve only ever used the gellets provided bc im new to gel blasters
@foamquest as far as I know? I left them overnight and even with those ones, I seem to have 3 or 4 roll out the barrel if the blasters aimed at the ground at all. If this a normal thing for gel blasters or should I try getting a better one? I was considering the dual wield pack?
My dad bought himself one of these todays after getting jealous of his grandson getting a new nerf gun. He was excited to shoot it in his garden from his wheelchair but I just doesn’t fire. I can see the gel balls building up on the inside of the barrel and it looks like there just getting broken up inside it. Is it a problem with a pistol or is it I am doing something wrong?
Have you tried the gel blaster portal target? I’m thinking of getting it cause it does app scoring and has games, but not sure if it works with nerf darts.
Definitely not all of them! (I don't think that's possible). If the rounds weren't fully hydrated, maybe two or three at once. Does that sound like what you're experiencing?

It is a bit chunky when compared to other emergency blasters, but I think your ratings are pretty spot on!

Are the rounds fully hydrated? Were they strained before you put them in the blaster?

You mean, they were completely dry? Or just not strained well? They definitely won't work in any capacity while dry

It's a common law with gel blasters. If you hold it pointing straight down. It may fall out. Hope this helps
