So many people have asked about having 8K content on the 8K screen it's clear I didn't explain it very well in the video, so just to confirm.... we played a mixture of native 4K content to both screens from Netflix and some native 8K content to the 8K screen from downloaded 8K and 12K originals. These were coded as H.265 and VP90 files and copied on to two USB sticks for playing to both screens simultaneously. Not all the 8K demos were used in the video for copyright reasons. @vann tedd You seem to be confusing colour accuracy (bit depth) with resolution? OLED looks absolutely great, but it has its flaws. It's not because LG or whoever makes them is bad at producing them. It's just the technology isn't ready yet. They "promise" you it won't suffer from burn-in or other problems, but the reality is that today OLEDs will eventually become worse and worse over the time, the colors will look washed out and, again, may suffer from burn-in. I'm planning to buy a Samsung QLED not because it looks better, but because it's a more reliable technology. Oh, did I mention that white reproduction in OLEDs looks absolutely rubbish
I still think OLEDS are overrated I think QLED easily looks better than OLED just cuz of peak brightness. To me the brighter the better. OLED just can't compete with brightness.
Rattamatt396 To each their own I guess. I know people who think sound quality is #1 for a tv. You say peak brightness, some say color. For me it's black level, which explains that when the Pioneer Kuro came out in 2007 it stomped all over the competition. It's nearly impossible to believe that they put out a plasma tv in 2009 (their last) that still holds up over 10 years later to the best panels made.

I have the C9 and it is mindblowing. I mean extremely good. Some issues have been reported but not experienced any thus far. For the price, it is a truly exceptional viewing experience. For any price, it is a superb experience. Once it's correctly set up, I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better screen, regardless of price. I have it wall mounted and watching things like Planet Earth II in 4k is just astonishing. Movies with motion smoothing off are superb too. The only tiny issue I find is with the OLED technology itself, but thats inherent. Overall, if you're upgrading from 1080p plasma as I was, you will not be disappointed. Even after 3 months, everything we watch feels like an event.
Thank you for the great review! It helped me a lot to understand that at a 65 inch screen it doesn't make any difference if you have 4k or 8k, because even at 4k you can't see any pixels even at a distance of just a few inches...
I've been watching reviews for many many years and have never seen one so well executed and as useful. You concentrate on what ultimately matters, the picture quality and I congratulate you on your methodology and the level at which you've pitched this review. I encourage you to expand to other technologies such as computer monitors, projectors etc.
Thank you, that very kind of you to say so... I might have to expend into other areas soon... my day job is slowly disappearing along with so many others!
I spent a lot of time, almost a year, of going in and out of stores studying TVs and watching and reading reviews to make sure i was going to get exactly what i want for the money i will be spending. I ended up going with a 65inch lg c9. I definitely thought alot about getting an 8k but I'd have to get a much larger screen size to see the difference and that sharpness at that size wouldnt make up for the infinite contrast on the oled. The only thing i wish i would've done is get the sony a9g just to have the absolute best of the best, but without a doubt i am always impressed everytime i turn on my c9.
This was brilliant. I also loved the way your presented the information and the fact that you used impartial judges as in contrast to yourself. Well done mate. You just made a subscriber out of me.
I bought 65" C9 this summer, based solely on this brilliant video. Imagine my surprise when the CX dropped to the same price for Cyber Monday ☹️. Apparently not that large a difference between the two though so, no regrets
Just between you and I ... I much prefer the C9 to the CX. Certainly, in the UK, the specs don't seem as good on the CX. I think there were some licensing issues which meant a lot of the catch-up services were missing, and the picture didn't seem quite as good to my eyes... probably my imagination? I think the 65 inch C9 is still the sweet spot for me!!!
This video has helped me so much, I was so confused about 8K and 4K or whether I needed an 8K TV. Thank you so much, your explanation is really good. thumbs up.
I think 8K will need larger screen to take full advantage of the tech. i am also quite surprised that the testers were unable to tell a distinct difference up close. very professional and well done video. the close up of the pixels to show the contrast was astounding.
I hope one day we will see a screen so big that it will finally replace that poor old projector technology in movie theaters. I think it's already possible today with the microled modular technology. Perhaps than 8k or more will come in handy.
For 7 ft viewing distance, you need about 200" screen for 8K to make any sense. Of course, not many are ready to pay to price for such a thing. And even if you had such a screen, you'd still have mostly 720p or 1080p content. Check out production details of new movies - for example, the Frozen 2 that was released around a month ago was 2K production. They don't have anything better to offer. However, if you look how successful it was, the chances are, others studios may end up doing mostly 2, too. (After saying that, Frozen 2 is a computer animation and as such, they can increase the resolution by re-rendering the whole movie in the future.)
Yes. Wow. I have to comment. An exceptional video. It's the first "extrashot" video I've seen, so you can call me late to the party, but now I'm going to binge-watch the channel. I'd like to call your experiment a "double-blind" because it was doubly good having two articulate experts participate and add real value through their comments. And that made this double-blind possibly "the. best. ever." - top quality participants and top presentation. Also your voice had me hanging on every word. A very special voice. I've watched thousands of videos: camerawork, production, editing, this one is 10/10.
You are the David Attenborough of TV's. And that's a very interesting question in the end. If OLED has the best contrast modulation then an 8K OLED will surely be a game changer!
I don't know which way to take that!... (but thank you) still not sure we'd be able to spot 8K at normal (recommended) viewing distances? We need to do another test as soon as I can get one!
I could tell that the LG was better quality from this video alone. Contrast is key to sharpness. What's the point in having more resolution if you get light bleed between pixels.
As a Samsung QLED lover, I am thoroughly impressed by the LG OLED. It does look like better picture quality and if I had to put down my own money between the two.....I'll take the LG
To be fair... they both look like great TV's, and the guys did say it would be difficult to tell them apart if they weren't placed right next to each other, (ironically...the story of this video)... but I'm a big fan of the Q90R. 👍
To me I think of HD, 4K, and 8K resolutions in terms of size and viewing distance. As bigger TVs became the norm, 4K became necessary for 65 / 75 / 80 +inch TVs. You can only stretch HD so far before you lose detail at certain viewing distances. To me 8K may be more appropriate for TVs 85” and above, but it’s also dependent on how far you sit from it on whether you can perceive certain levels of detail. Generally the bigger the TV the more resolution necessary to retain a certain level of detail.
True... but then the whole point I was making in the original video was that it's generally accepted (by smarter people than me) that the ideal viewing distance to any screen is one that gives you a 50 degree angle to the width of that screen. Apparently, this distance will give that optimum cinematic experience we all crave, and most cinemas place the centre of the seating at around this point. It shouldn't matter how big the screen is unless you are going to sit closer than the 50 degrees. My big shock was when the judges couldn't tell which screen was 8K even with their eyes pressed right up close!
This guy is good . what an amazing commentary . Im not interested in TV technology but i found myself watching this from start to finish. He makes it so simple to understand to a point that even a tool will understand.
I saw a TV which left my mouth open and my eyes well polished, I'm fussy too about picture quality, this TV was a full 4k, but still there's still not enough 4k broadcasts, and possibly no 8k transmissions in the UK... Very good video clearly explained. Thank you.
I really really love my oled TV. I dont have LG paid me to say this(I have LG too..) Gaming, movies, series, youtube, netflix name it and you get a good picture, no input lag, high refresh rate, good contrast. The sony oled is good too but more expensive and still all oled panels are made by LG. LG also has a good software called WEBOS: good support with all apps, even disney launched directly on LG and not on samsung.. The samsungs are not bad, but all OLED TV's do provide the best picture overall..
I went to Best Buy and bought the QLED and tried it out for a night. I didn't feel like it was a huge improvement. Next morning i took it back and bought the B9 OLED and it was such a big improvement and worth the price. I'm loving it.
Was that the 8K QLED? I'm glad your eyes match what we found... there's a lot of people on here who won't believe it !!! Happy you're enjoying the B9 - great TV 👍
Unbelievable video! Just the kind of review I have been looking for. Agonising for months on OLED 65" and considered 8K but It will be the 4K for me now.
@@extrashot Well, it has been 2 weeks since delivery and installation of my OLED65GXLA. I am glad I went the extra over the CX in terms of the slim form factor. I even wall-mounted it myself and it is great. It fits so flush to the wall. The performance is amazing (especially those blacks you mention!) and I have taken to re-watching old classics as they really come alive whatever the distance we were wathing the screen at. The ARC/eARC connection works seamlessly with my Denon home cinema and was pretty simple. One HDMI cable and that was it. Great piece of technology. Glad i found this full and informative review. Thank you! Please keep up the good work.
@@WanderingFriar Thanks for letting us know... I'm glad it's working well for you. Very jealous of the GX... pricy, but well worth it if you're wall mounting! Enjoy.
Thank you for the kind comment. You're right, the size of the screen will help you see 8K, but it's actually irrelevant unless you also take into account the viewing distance! The size of screen is only a factor if you’re going to pixel peep much closer than normal viewing distances. For instance... what’s the visible difference between sitting 4 meters away from a 100 inch screen or 2 meters away from a 50 inch? There is none… the most important figure is pixel density per arc-minute. (ie. how far away you sit related to the width of screen in degrees). There are recommended charts for home cinema - we used the THX ones.
Man the viewing angle on that oled! To answer the question "do we really need 8k" you would have to have an LG OLED 8K sitting next to the LG OLED 4K! Funny, I typed the above comment about halfway through the video. You summed it up in the last 5 seconds of the video.
Oled is always the superior technology. But I would definitely go for the Qled just to avoid the burn-in issue, which will affect the LG no matter what you do or how you treat it. And I can not for the life of me tolerate burned images on my TV.
This man here got a serious subscriber hey!!!! it was like watching a movie, the way he speaks, the way he edits ,literally everything!!!! i cant wait to like and watch all your other videos sir. I'm extremely impressed....
OLED today is the equivalent of Plasma back in the day, superior quality at a premium price, even when compared to higher resolution panels, it offers higher contrast in the darker areas, even if the peak brightness is lower, allowing for a much more detailed, realistic, and true to life image
I discovered this wonderful channel last december and I come back to this video sometimes to explain my friends what is the contrast modulation and how important it is
I know what you mean... but if we're only looking to see the pixels and not picture quality, should the tech matter? Are we saying we can’t compare QLED with anything else... even just for resolution using a black and white test pattern? In many ways, I regret not cutting everything from before Steve and Mark were trying to spot the 8K... because lots of people seem to think this video is just comparing picture quality between the two TVs, which wasn’t the intention. To be fair, the guys did say both TVs showed great pictures and it would be very difficult to tell them apart if they weren’t in the same room. The point where this video changed course was when I realised the guys couldn’t spot the 8K… even close up! I was not expecting that, and the end of the video is my explanation of exactly how that can happen. The close up shots of each panel are with my own macro lens placed against the screen with the same magnification on both.
I really like LG's attitude here. Beyond all the marketing schemes somewhat backed up with measurable improvements from Samsung, LG is simply offering a vastly superior product and they know it.
I purchased a 65” LG C9 three weeks ago and am just enamored with the beautiful display. Had almost went with a nano LED, but the pure blacks, gorgeous colors, and lifelike resolution of OLED sealed the deal. No regrets and wholeheartedly recommend the LG C9 to anyone looking for a fantastic 4K tv.
Damn! A comparison video worth watching. I think you should do regular product comparison videos with these two opinion guys. They were fabulous! Great job!
I admire the intelligence and forethought put into this video... Somewhat of an electron master myself... 35 year electrician and a huge love of N. Tesla..
I do think we've hit that wall where beyond 4k you have seriously diminishing returns. Now of course if youre rich and can afford say an 85" tv theres going to be a difference, but is the mainstream entertainment industry going to cater to those few people? Id like to see us not bother beyond 4k and instead focus on improving picture quality in other ways as much as we can.
Totally agree.... definitely demising returns... but this is being driven by people selling TVs, not the entertainment industry. There's stuff like true HDR and downsampling that's much more useful for improving picture quality..
Isn't this the exact same comment that was made about 4K, when it was initially introduced? Why does every one want to prevent progress? I say, let's keep moving forward.
@@Dave23547 Even at normal TV viewing distances... I can definitely see the difference between HD and 4K. The problem is... what sort of process are you getting if it's impossible to see it? You're moving a lot of data around for no good reason, especially as this progress is often at the cost of other improvements you could make to the display... like refresh time etc. When do you think we should stop... 32K, 64K ?
I agree. Going 8k is like putting on go faster stripes. The tv industry is seriously running out of ideas. (tv's went silver once) They have become to need to be selling TV to each consumer earlier so instead of our tv's lasting 10years or more like they used to do in the crtv days, they want us to be buying a new TV every 5 years or even less. Trying to change the technology to give reasons why we need a new upgrade when we don't, they are not mobile phones. Forget extra resolution we can't see, try and give us a smooth picture as a crtv has better motion flow than any lcd/led or oled. I think it was digital foundry that got our latest games and ran than through an old Sony crtv and the motion was way clearer than a top oled. Sort that out manufacturers
@@lightboy000 Microleds are also WAY expensive and I don't think will happen very soon, according to a roadmap microled for the masses is mostly aimed for 2025-2026 and even then I don't think they will be any cheap... For now who's winning in LCD is probably TCL series 8 which is still a very expensive TV with more than 25 thousand mini leds and while in some pictures it can be almost exactly like OLED, in some it still have the same exact bloom problems as other high end LCD's which OLED never have and then when it comes to gaming, the OLED is almost basically a CRT in terms of pixel response time so the motion is far ahead any LCD... Microled is surely the future, but don't expect it to happen so soon other than maybe for AR\VR\projectors since chinese companies like JBD already shown a few years ago 1 million nits Red, Blue or Green microled displays with crazy high resolutions but in a very small size and they are made basically almost like a CPU with silicon that comes in the waffles, so the way they do their crazy super high tech is also not for TV's :(... Anyway for a UHD 4K TV it needs 8,294,400 micro RGB leds and that crazy number of leds on a TV + the hardware to drive and control so many leds I don't think will get to affordable prices so soon if ever as it will most likely be kept always for high end unless they make just a basic microled TV for lower end with like very low brightness cheap leds and much less power requirements but even then that is in a distant future... Samsung first microled Wall TV was basically the price of a house... Can't wait to see what will be the price of their upcoming 75 inch microled TV even though I could only afford a few pixels out of it lol... PS: Now being realistic the next step for LCD will probably most brands keep moving to minileds and outside LCD will be inkjet printed OLEDs and just better OLEDs overall and more OLED manufacturers than LG, then will be samsung QD-OLED and only quite a bit after will be microled...
If your a gamer the qled is the best gaming tv practically out there as Samsung have a lot of gaming options and even seen. Dont know what res but the q900r will go up to 120hz mode. Also freesync to match frames rates to console, etc and of course no burn in issues
First time I ever subscribed to a channel after watching youtube videos since its existence. This is a first as the content presentation is really an unbiased user review, even though company initiated.
I HATE the QLED marketing crap. QLED is JUST LED!!! Samsung doesn't want to pay LG for OLED patents so just try to fool the consumer into thinking QLED can be compared to OLED.
Unless they manage to backlight every single pixel independently, that is what Samsung has announced to be working in. On the other hand, not everything is image sharpness. Color accuracy, absolute brightness and motion fluidity also matter.
The problem with OLED is that the pixels can only get so bright. The tech is already at its saturation point for brightness. LCD TVs do not have this issue, as their brightness is determined by the backlight. Therefore, LCD tech still has room to grow as dimming zones increase. I will agree that OLED, at the moment, is the better tech. In the future, though, it will more than likely be surpassed again.
Nope! But it's pretending to be. Notice how they try to make it seem similar by employing the letter "Q" which is oddly similar to the letter "O" in its description. Might as well start a Korean car company called BNW with the catch phrase "the penultimate driving machine".

This is awesome . I wish I found you sooner . Beat tv review on you tube full stop. Just ordered a lg CX OLED this morning about 8 hours before seeing this vid. Makes me feel like I made the right purchase confirmed. Thanks mate
Thanks Chip. I haven't even seen the CX yet... specs look great. Hope you enjoy it!
I’ve watched this twice now and I have to say that you and your friends made a really excellent and informative presentation. Total thumbs up.
Thank you for the very kind words... really appreciated!
Great job explaining and illustrating a complex topic. LG's confidence in you was well placed.
Thank you for the kind words.
One of the best video of comparing tvs. Great job
Wow, thanks!

This video made me feel proud of my LG c9 tv 🥳🥳🥳
Love the fact that after 3 months you're still appreciating the effect !!!
Thank you for the great review! It helped me a lot to understand that at a 65 inch screen it doesn't make any difference if you have 4k or 8k, because even at 4k you can't see any pixels even at a distance of just a few inches...
You're welcome Peter... and you nailed the issue. You can't see it at any distance! 👍
I've been watching reviews for many many years and have never seen one so well executed and as useful. You concentrate on what ultimately matters, the picture quality and I congratulate you on your methodology and the level at which you've pitched this review. I encourage you to expand to other technologies such as computer monitors, projectors etc.
I couldn't agree more. A very informative, unbiased and insightful review, with - for me at least - just the right level of geekiness :-).
Thank you, that very kind of you to say so... I might have to expend into other areas soon... my day job is slowly disappearing along with so many others!
Thanks Simon, very kind 👍
I spent a lot of time, almost a year, of going in and out of stores studying TVs and watching and reading reviews to make sure i was going to get exactly what i want for the money i will be spending. I ended up going with a 65inch lg c9. I definitely thought alot about getting an 8k but I'd have to get a much larger screen size to see the difference and that sharpness at that size wouldnt make up for the infinite contrast on the oled. The only thing i wish i would've done is get the sony a9g just to have the absolute best of the best, but without a doubt i am always impressed everytime i turn on my c9.
It is a hugely impressive picture... hope you continue to enjoy it, and thank you for the comment.👍
This was brilliant. I also loved the way your presented the information and the fact that you used impartial judges as in contrast to yourself. Well done mate. You just made a subscriber out of me.
Thank you for the kind comment... and the sub is appreciated!
Me too! Just purchased a 77" LG CX and it is mind blowing.
@@VirtualAirTour Glad you like it... it is amazing.
You got the same if not a better TV and you got to enjoy it for a couple more months. That's a win win bud.
This video has helped me so much, I was so confused about 8K and 4K or whether I needed an 8K TV. Thank you so much, your explanation is really good. thumbs up.
Thank you.... glad it helped in some small way and thanks for the like.
subscribed without any hesitation.. great review sir
Thank you sir... it's appreciated!
Thank you for this explanation. I like the way that you speak. It's really satisfying to hear. I subscribed. Thank you!
Cheers for the sub Rudra... it's appreciated!
This channel is highly underrated.
True
I can only agree !!! 🤔
Yes.
Wow... thank you so much for the kind comments. Means a lot and welcome to the party!
I'm not sure what an 8K OLED would look like on a screen, but I have an idea of what my checkbook would look like afterwards
Ha.... true! 😂
This is so nice content. Felt like I'm watching national geography documentary.
Too kind Bb Bb.... but appreciated... thank you!
I saw a TV which left my mouth open and my eyes well polished, I'm fussy too about picture quality, this TV was a full 4k, but still there's still not enough 4k broadcasts, and possibly no 8k transmissions in the UK... Very good video clearly explained. Thank you.
Thank you for the comment Stuart. I think compression techniques will have to get a lot better before we see much in the way of 8K TX.
The way they were amused on how thin the oled tv was is just satisfying😃😃
Almost childlike... they need to get out more!
Awesome content, you just gained yourself a new subscriber. 👍
Wow, thank you... and your sub is appreciated. 👍
I purchased an LG C9 65” three weeks ago and am thrilled with its stunning picture quality. Couldn’t be happier 😍
That's great to hear... they are stunning!
It worked. I'm now subscribed to extrashot.
Thank you Albert... appreciated.
The trick is simple. There is no point in 8k LCDs because the limit is in “backlight resolution”. We need an OLED 8k display to see the difference.
... and yet, Samsung sell it as a flagship model?
Great video, this video won my subscription.
Thank you... for the comment and the sub, it's appreciated!
I love your vid, inspired me to get the LG C9 and it's a beast of a TV. Thank You
You're welcome... and I do hope you enjoy it!
After seeing the thickness of the LG, my own LG burst into tears, jumped off the wall and ran off to the gym.
Can't be that bad if it can jump off the wall... 😂
@@extrashot It's surprisingly nimble and dynamic considering its size.

Such a detailed and thorough explanation. Thanks a lot..
Thank you!
Thank you, glad it helped. 65" 4K OLED is a stunning picture! Way too early for 8K... and it'll be years before there's much content anyway.
Unless you're really into watching 20+ megapixel photos from the distance of less than 1 meter from the screen, you don't really need 8K resolution.
Enjoy.
Im a samsung fan but i love my new LG OledC8LLA. Specially in Films with dark scenes as Hostiles or Interstellar its superb. The HDR is magnificent
The true blacks are amazing... and it tricks your eye into thinking there's no noise in the picture at all !!!
Excellent video. Well done! I’m thinking that to really see the difference in 8k, a much larger screen would be needed.
This is by for the most underrated subscribed channel I've ever seen. Pure quality! You've definitely earned a subscription from me sir
Thanks very kind of you to say so... and the sub is appreciated... thank you!

Man the viewing angle on that oled!
To answer the question "do we really need 8k" you would have to have an LG OLED 8K sitting next to the LG OLED 4K!
Funny, I typed the above comment about halfway through the video. You summed it up in the last 5 seconds of the video.
True... and I'd really like to get an 8K and 4K OLED together asap. Just need them to be a little more available / affordable !!!

Oled is always the superior technology. But I would definitely go for the Qled just to avoid the burn-in issue, which will affect the LG no matter what you do or how you treat it. And I can not for the life of me tolerate burned images on my TV.
Is it that common?

LG 4k OLED is better than Samsung 8K QLED that's for sure excellent video (y)
OLED today is the equivalent of Plasma back in the day, superior quality at a premium price, even when compared to higher resolution panels, it offers higher contrast in the darker areas, even if the peak brightness is lower, allowing for a much more detailed, realistic, and true to life image
8k is the worst upgrade push to televisions ever.
Especially if we can't see it? 👍
@ 😎😂
I discovered this wonderful channel last december and I come back to this video sometimes to explain my friends what is the contrast modulation and how important it is
Thank you... and always pleased to see you back!
I have a OLED C7, and it is hands down the best tv I have EVER owned.
I plan to get a 77 inch C9, but right now they're hovering right about $5k
The David Attenborough of TV's.
It worries me how many people have said that! 😂

LG OLED is overall the best choice

8k- you enter into the display
10k- the display enters into you
20k- there never was a display
Post Millennial 🤯
Maybe we're already living the display?
@@extrashot so it seems
Great content. You just earned a subscriber. But wouldn't you say a fairer comparison would be oled 8k oled vs 4k oled or 8k qled vs 4k qled?
This isn't really a comparison of 4k vs 8k its more pertinently a comparison of the best LED vs OLED and its a no contest OLED is superior technology.
Wow! Awesome explanations! (even your speaking "tempo" is perfect for non-native English speakers like me).
Keep up the good job!
Cheers!
Your English seems great!... thank you.
Great video! Very entertaining. I’ve been saying this for years. 8K is unnecessary!
Thank you... obviously agree... unnecessarily for watching movies... although probably better for stills, games and shooting movies!
Do hell with both... I subscribed for your voice !
Either way.... your sub is appreciated! Thank you.
@@extrashot Your welcome :) BTW, can you do a comparison video B/W OLED and QLED or have you already done one?
I really like LG's attitude here. Beyond all the marketing schemes somewhat backed up with measurable improvements from Samsung, LG is simply offering a vastly superior product and they know it.
I just got a 4K Samsung 65” and the colors I saw were amazing! Unbelievable picture for tv, movies, and, gaming!

Great comparison! Buying the 65 inch OLED
Great choice for normal TV/Movie watching.... enjoy! 👍
I purchased a 65” LG C9 three weeks ago and am just enamored with the beautiful display. Had almost went with a nano LED, but the pure blacks, gorgeous colors, and lifelike resolution of OLED sealed the deal. No regrets and wholeheartedly recommend the LG C9 to anyone looking for a fantastic 4K tv.

and i own the 55 c8.. bliss
Thank you for the comment... very kind. Enjoy the C8...great pictures.
Sort that out manufacturers
a QLED will never match the blacks/contrast/depth of the OLED . LG wins for me.
There are new prototypes where LCD can have nice blacks however the production is too expansive.
MicroLEDs is the next go
@@lightboy000 Microleds are also WAY expensive and I don't think will happen very soon, according to a roadmap microled for the masses is mostly aimed for 2025-2026 and even then I don't think they will be any cheap...
Cause qled is brighter
First time I ever subscribed to a channel after watching youtube videos since its existence. This is a first as the content presentation is really an unbiased user review, even though company initiated.
I'm honoured and take your subscription seriously... Welcome on board. Thank you... and for the kind comment!
I HATE the QLED marketing crap. QLED is JUST LED!!! Samsung doesn't want to pay LG for OLED patents so just try to fool the consumer into thinking QLED can be compared to OLED.
Must admit... just the QLED name looks to me like it's designed to mislead the uninformed in a showroom !!! 😂
Sources?
Samsung doesn't need to buy OLED form LG they have their own OLED technology!
I'm subscribed, just because you sound and think so rationally. Rare these days.
Thank you... very kind of you to comment, and the sub! 👍
Qled will never come close to LG's oled.
What till your OLED is 6 years old then see the difference when you tell us you have burn in or uneven screen pixal wear.
Burn in sucks with LG. Won’t even cover under warranty.
I found your style and apparent honesty very refreshing.
how did you measure 'HIS HONESTY'??? tell me!
