You can see on her many discussions with Rean that she doesn't necessarily side with the Chancellor because she agrees with his mentality, she just feels like she owes everything to him as he gave her purpose when she had none. She does what she thinks is right and hasn't really got an issue with Rean. If anything, she's closer with them and Milly than Osborne Rufus and Lechter That's a hell of a lot better than a certain Prince who pulls a 180 and becomes a complete dick for surrogate daddy points
Aside from rufus all of the ironbloods are chill and good guys and gals who just so happen to be indebted to the chancellors. Claire have also helped a lot of times and millium and altina are part of class 7. So its not surprising that they were friends.
