If you lived through this time in the late 90s early 00s in Central Florida, you experienced something that wasn't going on anywhere else in the world. Such a special moment in history-- musically, culturally, and socially. Never will that amazing feeling come again...😔
... only chills from the music that was born in that era.
I was there!! Simons, The Soul House, The Edge....OH MY!
it was 1991/1992
Yup, a huh . I have stories . from the CLE/216
Cyberzone.
best times of my life was the underground club scene in Orlando Florida. I put a six year career in groovin and vibing met the most awesome souls and made memories that can't be forgotten. 8up

This was when music wasn't preselected and Djs would walk on Stage and Feel out the crowd and Spin Vinyl. What a Great experience. Will never Forget #321 #808
#321life .. rob , rick west , huda hudia in down town cocoa , leaving the club with the sun starting to rise heading straight over to the beach and just sitting there listening to the ocean thinking i hope this never ends ...... 20 years later still wishing it never had
@@h4xor66 I moved to Satellite beach October 98. Worked at food Lion and met some people that turned me on to breaks. I was a Boston kid. It was On after that. Met some great people and made even better memories. We're you at Daytona for The Millennium Bash!?!!? Ceiling Callopsing on 600 North right after Ball Dropped. Party Still Went on until Sunday!! Yeeesss this whole album reminds me of the good ole days in Ybor city !!
Sounds like no one here had been to “ Firestone “ in O-Town before. I am from Tampa but nothing compares to
that scene! ! Anyone who was there can tell you that I am right. Orlando has always been far ahead of Tampa.
This makes me so emotional!! Best times of my life!! #954 #305 #143 The Players Lounge... walking out the club with sun glasses on!!! 🙌🏽😝💋 #AfterParties
Visited Orlando from Ohio in 1993. Ran into a friend from Ohio at a club. He told me about a "party" that started at 3 am. It was my first rave. I was hooked after that. Came back to Ohio and went to parties every weekend for the next 6 years. Even though breaks weren't big in Cleveland they have always been my favorite.
Man, I've been living in Cincinnati for 5 yrs. I'm from Melbourne. I listen to this to keep my soul alive during the winters up here.
That era was a parting of the veil for so many, and they burst outward like a technotronic florescence to and from every corner of the globe, and back again and again. Orlando was certainly a big spark in the blastos at that time... So many indescribable memories!
It's been so so long. Surprised my memory held on after these days. Rob-e, Baby Ann, Icey,Oakenfold, on and on.... I can say after all the years those were the free bird best days of my fkn life! Miss em but gotta be more to come!!!
best times of my life was the underground club scene in Orlando Florida. at CYBERZONE
Can't forget about Cyberzone
It was awesome, man. It really was.
Watched my older brother go this stage, Best X, Best smoke, Had the fliest RX7 second Gen. Smoke blunts, whip it's, raced the best, had the best Music 🎵🎶🎤💪🤪
rx7 your cool
wuts up br you know me dennys
Orlando had the funk, but Miami was off the chain back in the day! The chili pepper, Level, fullmoon and space cadets, studio 183 etc.. Best of times!
That’s right Dj qwest in da house !!!
many a nights rollin hard this was in the rotation
1999 was the end of The real Raves , classic mix !
Yeah had a millennium party that was almost 4 days long we had a crazy group of DJs coming and going bringing people we watch the year end with a big bang.
We kept the party goin! I was only a child in the 90s. I know this was the hottest period for the music/club scene. But, around 2003-04 we discovered & kept it going. (at least in our big circle) A lot of raves/partys were still kickin & DJ's still liked to use vinyl. I had NuMark CD turntables w/ Pioneer mixer w/ 2 15" house speakers though. Breaks/Trance/Hip-Hop were a big part of our lives on into our 20's and for some I grew up with, still is.
House party's kept it going, fantasy ranch raid killed it for the clubs, Sarasota Beach house was all we needed, PLUM 4EVER
If I knew what I knew now, and was able to go back to this era...
Excellent track. The Female vocals are on point, exactly what I want to hear, and what brings me back to that place in the clouds we all remember.
Still my favorite break cd!!!!
I remember playing this cd constantly during the street racing scene during the early 00's in the orlando area and out at nova road. Mmm..it was the best of times.
We were doing the same in New Orleans. Best years of my life.
Nova that long long strip 😏 can relate stranger stay blessed 😎
Nova road nights where the best so many rx7 and rotaries out that way ❤ best times
I’m glad I got to experience this with the best people, GREAT MEMORIES 💞 wish I could go back 😫😩
i miss these day.florida just kida died out on the music seen.we need to bring it back.i rem when i was back in high school in the late 90s i was clubbing every weekend.this was the shi$.
the_professional18 same here! Melbourne FL
I agree... it needs to come back
@@i.m.Q.2 I find myself jamming to old school breaks and electro while playing video games these days. It's therapeutic. South Lousiana's breaks and underground electronic music scene seems to have kinda died down like Florida, I think you're on point with your idea about the economy and all. The USA peaked economically and culturally in the late 90's (in my opinion atleast). There was a moment somewhere in that era where things must have been too good to stay that way forever. And it faded.
It didn't die out. The music just changed. Tampa and Orlando had the best club music for awhile before it happened. Shutting down raves at every turn didn't help much either. Plus we just grew up and had to be responsible people at some point.
Join the FB group "I raved in Florida during the 90's" you will definitely enjoy it.
Back and forth Tampa to Orlando to hear the best breaks was the greatest times. Florida and Louisiana became to of the very best break states hands down. You couldn't touch us!
Cage, Trashy, and Moon throwing it down in La.
Trashy used to come to NiteTown in Destin and it was always off the hook! Doc Roc too. Miss those nights

Tha Glory Daze of Florida Breakz!
the only days of fl breaks ..
Subscribed because u are awesome and I haven’t heard this album in years and you made my night ty.
The Orlando Breakz Vol. 01 and 02 were spun by RobE and Vol. 03 was by Dave London and that volume was what I would consider a perfect set. The bass on this album is just so representative of Florida breaks. "Turn down the mids, turn up the bass"
Dave and Huda were Gods among men .. there is nothing today that grabs my soul and rips it from my body to send it on a journey through the cosmos like they did in the 90's ............... of course aint no Disco Biscuits anymore either so there ya go :)

@@waltersobchak7275 Good times! I was one of the club kids there, and one of the main designers for the interior and art at Xanadu.
@@neonflesh Do you still do interior design?? Yes your Xanadu was on par to Studio 54 in the Limelight as far as we were concerned. It gave us a chance to relive a scene that had long since vanished. I never went to 54 but I had Xanadu.
Honestly for me I couldn't see how it could get better than Xanadu. I mean sure there are places that were bigger, and had more people, more expensive lights, more infamous DJs...... but we didn't care. I was 25ish and felt like a kid. Everything just came together perfectly. You had the music, the people, the location, and your awesome interior design......was like one of the million. Thanks for having a hand in some of my most fond and cherished memories to date. I really mean that.
@@waltersobchak7275 I do Virtual Reality design now, so yes, sort of. Interior design with unlimited space! lol. Thank you so much. It was great to share all that with the party scene that was so thriving. I was about the same age and really investing my soul in creating cool party spaces and the beginning of my art career. It's great to hear it was part of other people's mythos too.
