My tracklists do not correspond with those of the CD release, but rather the releases of each individual track. Each tracklist has been thoroughly reconstructed by me, to obtain the utmost accuracy. I have paid attention to the finest of details (e.g. Remix vs. Mix) and even still, I continually come across inconsistencies within my own music library. I find it fascinating to navigate the sea of releases for the distinct original presentation of each track, such that I may experience it in the manner that it was presented at the time of its inception. Enjoy!

This made me cry how fast life goes. Now 41 and i had this CD playing in my room and dreaming. OMG happy days when i was 20 yrs old. I think my kids will never have same feeling, no instagram, no facebook, reels..just friends, party, emotions..dreams..

I was 14 when i went to the first club and 16 when i went to Ibiza for the first time, i am now 49, like every year i am going back this summer
The world might have changed in ways that you couldn’t have imagined when you were 20. But art, fashion and music are cyclical, and the nostalgia trip, after a few good years of the 90s is now shifting into the 2000s (it’s been happening for a while for early adopters), and of course nothing will compare to the original sounds and raves, but I, a 32 year old millennial, have noticed that people younger than me, gen z, are fans of the sound of late 90s early 2000s, from trance to happy hardcore, and there are plenty of young musicians who further build on these sounds. The sound is of course evolving, and the crowds are not the same, but the kids are still experiencing all these uplifting feelings that come with this music, and they still gather for it, maybe with a slightly dimmer sense of magic and novelty, and that’s just because the world around them is a bit darker and cynical than back in the days. As any evolving music scene, some will always revisit the original sounds including authentic raves. And as some raved to this music as adults, some have experienced it as teenagers and/or kids, and some weren’t even born for it but will still be exposed to it. I remember playing a silly childish tune for my niece and she didn’t care, but the trance tune after it intrigued her and got her moving.

Age doesn't come into it.. Good taste in music does.. Good on you for getting into it. I was about 19 back in 1999-2000 when I started really getting into trance and still gives me goosebumps at 42 year's old. Every single Euphoria collection and Cream album's & Ministry of sound trance anthems etc I still have to this day. This is a particular favourite album of mine but I really love them all. Yellow and blue album's are crazy good too. x

In 2002 when I was a college student at a university in West Texas, there was a girl in my dorm who used to play this CD religiously. First time I heard it, I was hooked. If I ever have the chance to see her again, I’d thank her for changing my life.
From 1998 - 2005, Trance was absolutely amazing. If I could find a Time Machine, that’s where I’m headed.

I remember I had just moved to Burbank, CA. There was a Virgin records I’d go to every Saturday.
Back then you could sample the songs with headphones at Virgin.
I listened to 15 minutes and snatched it.
Later on everytime we went to a rave with friends ,this would be playing at the pre party.
It was like we had traveled to another dimension, by the time we all got to the rave, we’d be the hardest bangers in the warehouse.
How time flies, feels like yesterday I would be in a club in Cardiff with this wonderful trance music blasting out, time truly does fly
This reminds me of my Dad, he was my best friend, sadly gone on to his next life. I loved him more than life itself, he loved music too xxx

Arrived in Ibiza in the summer of 2001 for a footie tournament, 6 months after leaving a loveless marriage age 43. Discovered Trance and the euphoria of being free to do whatever i wanted. Still get those feelings back listening to this 21 years later and I`m still playing it full blast

@@SheilsGaryNever did, spent 4 years in a bedsit but had the time of my life, women, travel, more women, then sold the marital home and went round the world with my 13 year old daughter, bought a superb flat, NZ 5 times, US 4 times, Oz, Hawaii, Czech, Thailand, Malta, Vietnam twice, Cambodia, Canada, Italy five times, more women, a 7 year relationship and now a ten year marriage, ex died age 55 an alchoholic and penniless, Too many people stay in loveless relationships and i should have left at least 5 years earlier. You get one shot at this life, and my daughters think the world of me and understand now. I read somewhere early on that "people dont leave a marriage because they fear never finding anyone else but by staying they guarantee it", that spurred me on in the early days..Thanks for the comment

I spent a fortune on CD's like this one, in fact I had this set, the tracks are fantastic and remind me of happy times. I have no idea how many Euphoria albums I had back in the day, sadly I donated them to charity shops a while ago, but at least if they sold some good came of my donation.

I bought this and took it to L.A with me in 2000 when i was 25. Played it in my hotel room and at the pool. The Americans who heard it commented that they'd never heard anything like it before, they loved it!

Omg 😮I have got this on full blast in my flat on this dull depressing Saturday afternoon everyone looks like they are genuinely scared for the future with this Coronavirus and there is nothing worse for the economy and people’s overall well being and mental health than uncertainty I have listened to this cd since I retired from clubbing 10 years ago. Me and my best friend at the time both 33 years old said it’s time to leave it to the next generation we went out with a bang we spend the final night of our clubbing career at Slinky in Bournemouth over 5 hours drive from home and stayed in a hotel and boy could we have not chosen a better club or a night to hang those boots 🥾 👢 up jet was Halloween 2010 anyone that was there will agree it was a memorable night the costumes the tunes the whole night was truly amazing so glad we did it they played a tune off this album too.
So back to today if only it was 1999 now I can guarantee all of my fellow Trance Generation would of been in the club Coronavirus 😷 Masks on glow sticks out Dummies in no one would miss Saturday night for the world so I thought the best way I can escape Coronavirus 😷 is to take a trip down memory lane I’m literally in tears hear of pure joy this music was a movement it was the turn of the century it created something j classs as unity and special bonds like I’ve never experienced before and probably will again yes we are all munching our way through more pills 💊 then I dare even try and add up but I was so happy and I’m so grateful I lived through 97-03 they were my special years I went out every weekend then after that it was probably twice a year. I would say these tunes are in my all time top 10 which I could never define back then but Blockster Grooveline is one if them messy as fuck but I love it, lost tribe game master, liquid child diving faces, solar stone seven cities, art of trance Madagascar, Matt Carey and Marcella woods liberation , Agnelli and Nelson Everyday Everytime then from the second CD Tilt Invisible that’s in my Top 3 right 2 tunes left and they would have to be Jan Johnson Skydive and Blank and Jones Cream PVD version phew it only took me 23 years to put that in writing lol Stay Safe people much love 💗 xx

I retired twice - once in about 1990 - for reasons in my life and then got back into it in 1995 just in time for the wonderful music of the golden age of trance - I finally stopped around 2002 too when I would have been about 37. Those first years 1988-90 were good because the whole rave scene was new for everyone but had a far better time 1995-2002 because I was older and more mature, life was better for me and the music was the best that electronic dance or popular music ever got in my opinion. I still listen to trance/hard trance to this day and even now in my mid-50s after the best part of 20 years away from raving would like to have one more night out before that really is the end. It would have to be a club reviving the perfect sounds of 1996-2001 if it happened though.

I still remember when I got this, Sunday Morning, played a pre season friendly in Sunday League football, on my way home popped into Asda, only had enough on me to buy the cassette version and being impatient, bought that. Went home, had the Sunday lunch cooked by my mum, then went upstairs, put this on and laid on my bed while waiting for my mates to come round and was blown away by how good this was. Those halcyon days will stay with and in a way haunt everyone who was there, swept up in the Euphoria, The DJs, The clubs, The Music, The Culture, We didn't know how good we had it.

Had this album 99, 17 yrs old, listening to Seven Cities in the garden while watching the total eclipse of the sun in Cornwall, was one of the most surreal moments of my life and one that i will never forget. Nothing will ever be as good as 90's trance.
You definitely cannot listen to this with your eyes open and even if you want to keep them open, they just close by themselves due to sheer bliss enveloped with a mystical trance dream state... a fantasy world of your own.

But I also wish I was old enough to go clubbing during this time. But having said that clubs did still play this type of music when I first went clubbing. Now it's shit hip hop, R&B and EDM pop crappy dance music lol

I’m 39, partying like animals 98-04 , sadly lost 2 of my childhood school friends ( in our twenties ) who used to bop with me ! Always nostalgia listening to the tunes when we didn’t give a F**K about anything! Music lives on forever, through me , you and lost ones !
Went to Ibiza in 98, 99 and 2001...will never forget it. Used to go Peach at Camden regularly on a Friday for many years....these tunes are ingrained in my soul.. if you know, you know 👌🥳

I have had this downloaded from LimeWire since I had the internet after leaving home in 2005. I've only known it from ipod to ipod and I've carried it from PC to PC hoping to never lose it... It's an entire 75 minute track. This and Ibiza Euphoria II have basically been a part of my whole adult life...I didn't know until now that my sacred "never found again track" was a Matt Darey CD lol. Nonetheless, I will still cherish it. =D
That's awesome! Matt Darey is, IMHO, the absolute king & master of the euphoric trance genre.
And this was only his 2nd release as the DJ of an album (the first was Pure Euphoria). He programmed these albums digitally paying particular attention to the let of the songs in order to create the smoothest, most natural flowing transitions. Check out CD 2 of the Pure Euphoria album he mixed; the transitions are particularly harmonically & musically pleasing. That CD is like the equivalent of an electronic symphony in regards to the way the melodies flow & progress from one to the next! That entire CD is like one amazing 80 minute long track, probably more so than virtually any other DJ mix I've ever heard- I consider it a true masterpiece.
This was actually before he began performing live DJ sets. In fact, making these albums helped influence his transition from the production studio into the DJ booth.
Hardly any of the trance music produced since the early 2000s had the same emotional depth as that from about 97 thru maybe 2004. At least not to me.
There had certainly been some fantastic music in other dance genres since that time, but it seems like the really great stuff has been a bit less prevalent. Those tracks have been fewer and further between... And 99 was like the pinnacle for the sheer quantity of awesome releases...

I honestly want to move to Europe..was in Spain in 2010 when they won the cup...was up all nit partying to this music. Yesss bring me back ❤️
God this brings me back. Its nostalga, but what a beautiful time in history it was driving around with this kicking on the radio. I only hope the youth of today can relate to something as personal and deep as this CD was to me.

I left school in May 1978, stated Dj’n in July the same year. I retired after 36 years in 2014, I’ve still got my music collection which is my vinyl and cds, all my imports as well. I will be 58 in May this year, I still love my music especially my dance music from the classic 70’s to the present day. I’ve met Tiësto and seen him and other Trance Dj’s including watching Armin Van Burren’s 5 hour set in Wembley SSE Arena in 2019 ❤️❤️❤️❤️

No doubt! That has always been one of my top tunes- it kinda sucks though that you hardly ever hear the breaks section towards the end on any mixed CDs.
