1:03 The reverse gear is the same, but it has a better engine installed, gaining 50 horsepower, so it is faster. Also has the extra turret track armor. Otherwise it is identical iirc.
There used to be a bug with the track armor where if you shot in between the the track armor and turret while the turret was facing you, it would deflect the shell into the turret and at least wipe the turret crew.

The extra HP is really nice for making the Tiger 2 impressively mobile for a heavy at 6.7. Plus it's a premium Tiger, so it's an incredibly good tank with premium bonuses.
both TT tiger 2s are less than 10k. that is very manageable compared to a lot of other vehicles especially when talking about something as OP as the tiger 2 H.

Great video again, good and at the same time frustrating to see that I’m not the only one that gets uptiered 90% of the time. For some tanks and tiers it’s ok but getting into 7.3 and above with a 6.7 heavy just isn’t how the mechanics should work. Great fight though and as always those tight matches are the best, win or loose!
6.7 is such a dead BR now. US, Germany and (sort of) Japan are the only nations that have a decent-sized 6.7 lineup (a couple of German vehicles at this BR are hidden away: Panther 2, the 105 Konigstiger, and the Ru-251 was pushed up to 7.0) (Sweden-no vehicles; Brits-the tortoise and FV4005; UssR-the SU-122-54 and Obj268, plus the T34-100 premium; Japan-Type 61, Type 60, STA3, and the Ho-Ri proto premium; China-only the Type 62; Italy-only the C13 T90; France-AMX M4, AMX-13, plus the premium SS11 version; Israel-who knows). So, at 6.7 you are bound to get an uptier to at least 7.3 most of the time, because there are more lineups there for the other nations.

This video is a great example why I stopped playing 6.7.. Recently grinded the wiezel and df105 with the SLA and while I was grinding those I literally havent got a sub 7.3 game, and I wish I was exaggarating. Not a single one. While the SLA is a great vehicle, in constant uptiers, having to fight cold war era vehicles with APDS and HEATFS while also being slower than most vehicles gets really tiring and annoying. Great Vid Bawz. Keep 'em coming.
I like how you're saying how all those maps are terrible but theyre the only maps I get to play on. Besides some poland and that dense urban city map with the green park in the middle

Hi Oddz. Another brilliant video. As you have said many times WT needs to rethink its game rankings. I pretty wel only play the 5.3 pz iv/70 (v) but always end up playing higher be at 6.3s where new low ranked players get heaps of kills not because of skill but because no one can pin the tiger 2 from the front. Worse still when you get experienced players at higher BR. Keep up the great work. Love it!
I really wish I could enjoy playing Tiger 2H's again. I bare too much PTSD from the days when the IS3 was the same BR and IS4's were a regular opponent. This was a long time ago, before the 1st armor and 1st ammo rework, Bad times.
You should do a series of videos where you play the vehicles that you have 0 kills in on that master list. Just go to the very bottom, see what's there, and get at least 1 kill each until they're no longer at the very bottom. Just to see some of the more unique stuff that doesn't usually get touched and to see if there are any hidden gems down there. Maybe 1 video for 3 vehicles type of thing?
You can see If your spotted in the bottom left corner next to your tank xray. The icon looks like binoculars. If its white, your spotted, if it's not, your not.

I credit watching your videos and playing low tier British tanks for what skill I've accrued for this game. I got your decal and put it on the back of my LVT 40. Anyway, keep up the good work. I'd like to see videos where you show off a full line up for a given nation and BR with a focus on having all the vehicles at the same BR compromising only in cases like Italy 2.0 where they simply do not have an SPAA between the AS 42 and the Spaghettiwind. The challenge would be to play every vehicle in the line up in one match. Bonus for getting at least one kill with each.
This was my first premium tank many years ago. It's my most played tank. It's a beast. It's only real weak point against conventional ammunition is the turret cheek but if you wiggle your turret when the enemy is about to fire it's pretty easy to bounce incoming rounds. It has improved horsepower & track armor on the turret that the regular Tiger II H doesn't get. Love this tank.
Tiger II has the most potential to be the most BROKEN tank in the game. The armor has an effective thickness against solid shot and APHE of over 300mm in the body, and 186 on the turret, but it’s so small it’s a hard target at medium to long range. And the Gun, the fucking GUN. Flattest shooting non-APFSDS gun in the game, 238mm pen with amazing APHE that will one shot anything from even a frontal shot. It isn’t as agile as others, but for a heavy tank it can outrun other heavys

3:05 this is pretty similar to how you can free look in aircraft or if your turret ring is destroyed. and i have used it more than I would’ve expected, especially on hills and rough terrain.

It's a long long way to tipperary ;)

Omg, that’s a nice thing to get!! I love the M8A1 so I’m kinda bias. It’s not a good grinder though and doesn’t make good SL since it’s only Rank 1 for some reason. So, you’d need to really love it to want to keep it. You could sell the coupon for sure then wait for a sale to come around and buy something from the store?
I get up-tiered more times in my Tiger 2s, and that rank of Germany, then I spend at their own level. Don't remember being down-tiered. I now just bypass that rank go from the Tiger 1s to the Leo, M48 and BMP-1.
Just recently bought the Bawz decal! Also, the America 7.3 lineup is amazing, but bad. The whole lineup has 7k+ rep costs, which makes even for example a 13 kill game with 5 spawns and 43k SL, only 11k SL

honestly i've just gotten to 7.3 in the german tree and this tank has been my favorite thus far, it has good mobility, solid armor, a relatively ok gun for it's br, not much will give you trouble, and it's a great sl grinder, i often disagree with people that say getting a talisman on a tech tree tiger 2 is better because while you get the rp rewards, you don't get the permanent lion booster. it's an absolute beast against bombs too, it may not seem like much but the extra turret track armor has meant bombs that would normally kill the tech tree variant don't kill me
Not to mention it's not a copy. The Sla Tiger II has more Horsepower & Track Armor all over the Turret. The Track armor will save you from quite a bit unless it's a direct on side shot to the Turret. The Horsepower difference is noticeable as well.
Hey Odd, here's a challenge for you. Take out either the Ju-87-G-1/2 or the Hs-129-B2. But take the respective HE rounds and go plane killing in Ground RB. It can be frustrating but it is genuinely fun to do once you get used to it. Watching a PE-8 crumble after a 75mm High explosive shot is very satysfying to watch. But hey, if you want to be a true masochist. Then take out the P.108A serie 2.
Love your vids Odd, but I have a question about CAS. How do you keep your view stable (as in, the ground down and sky above)? When I CAS, trying to keep sight on enemies gets my view twisted every which way. So twisted I'll lose track of where the ground is. Only way I can fix my view so I don't pancake is to release my view but lose sight of the enemy I was tracking. Is there a setting that I haven't found? Thanks for any input I get.

You should play as the SU 5-1 and try and get 8 kills in a single battle

Just recently bought the Bawz decal! Also, the America 7.3 lineup is amazing, but bad. The whole lineup has 7k+ rep costs, which makes even for example a 13 kill game with 5 spawns and 43k SL, only 11k SL

honestly i've just gotten to 7.3 in the german tree and this tank has been my favorite thus far, it has good mobility, solid armor, a relatively ok gun for it's br, not much will give you trouble, and it's a great sl grinder, i often disagree with people that say getting a talisman on a tech tree tiger 2 is better because while you get the rp rewards, you don't get the permanent lion booster. it's an absolute beast against bombs too, it may not seem like much but the extra turret track armor has meant bombs that would normally kill the tech tree variant don't kill me
Not to mention it's not a copy. The Sla Tiger II has more Horsepower & Track Armor all over the Turret. The Track armor will save you from quite a bit unless it's a direct on side shot to the Turret. The Horsepower difference is noticeable as well.

Hey Odd, here's a challenge for you. Take out either the Ju-87-G-1/2 or the Hs-129-B2. But take the respective HE rounds and go plane killing in Ground RB. It can be frustrating but it is genuinely fun to do once you get used to it. Watching a PE-8 crumble after a 75mm High explosive shot is very satysfying to watch. But hey, if you want to be a true masochist. Then take out the P.108A serie 2.
Love your vids Odd, but I have a question about CAS. How do you keep your view stable (as in, the ground down and sky above)? When I CAS, trying to keep sight on enemies gets my view twisted every which way. So twisted I'll lose track of where the ground is. Only way I can fix my view so I don't pancake is to release my view but lose sight of the enemy I was tracking. Is there a setting that I haven't found?
