I have been a fan of the channel since the early 430 days and Hobbes was the shop dog. Getting watch not only the channel grow, but more importantly seeing the evolution of the channel go from a part time hobby, to a legit group of businesses has been amazing to see. As a fellow business owner we all understand personal sacrifices for opportunities down the road. Here's to playing the long game🍻🍻 All the best to the whole NGSC team!
I know this feeling. Been through it a few times and going through it right now. Even when you’re excited about what’s next, it’s so hard to let go of certain cars because you just know you’re going to miss them.
Good luck with the sale. I recently just sold my 2006 Jeep LJ that I had built into a hardcore rock crawler. I'd had it for close to 14 years. Lots of memories with it, so I have an idea of how you feel.
Damn you're being responsible and I've always seen you to be quite a logical human being. I know it's tough. I wish I had the money right now I would buy it in a heartbeat especially since you owned it and I know you took good care of it.
Was good seeing you at the Cobra meet Dan and getting to park next to that beauty. Sorry couldn't make it out on the drive but looks like you still had a good time. Will be sorry to see that beauty go.
Can only have one at a time? LOL! I love this GT40, but I don't want to give up my '09 Scud!!!! I actually had no idea the Superformance continuation cars were worth this much. Kind of puts it almost in the range of a '05/'06 Ford GT, which would be much easier to get registered here in CA. Good luck with the sale!
@@normalguysupercar have you looked around ? It’s pretty bad out there. But. I just found some extra money each month might be a Ferrari. In the near future for me

@@normalguysupercar it’s always an agony to justify the sum of money tied up into an expensive car, but this really isn’t the time to sell it. Those are going to appreciate for the foreseeable future and selling it now is just daft. Don’t do it. Sell the Scud!

Thank you very much! Yeah, it's a hard decision but I think the right one for the long term.
Same here; it's pretty fucking awesome to see Dan's growing success.
This GT40 is absolutely GORGEOUS. Man would I love to buy that thing
It's so good looking. Ugh it hurts to sell it
Friendly reminder, Chicken nuggets are not an accepted form of payment. 😂

Yeah this one will be missed for sure
Getting to ride in it back during The Stubb opening checked a BIG, HUGE box off my bucket list. 🎉
Yeah it's pretty damn epic

Yeah it's gonna be sad to see it go

Thanks
Dan, clip that part of the video that has the giant American Flag and use it when you have Merica video montages.
Ah yes
So sad to hear you have to let it go. Man, at least you have fun.
Yes
Hey Dan once you and Josh start doing 20 to 50M a year then you can get some more toys! Beautiful car!
I like the optimism
I've had my Superformance GT40 MK1 for 12 years, and have put 22,000 miles on it. To part with it, you'd need to pry it from my cold dead hands.
Yeah
Sorry you have to part with it Dan. The Cottonwood Inn used to be the place in La Grange back in the day.
Oh yeah
Kinda sounds like a Koenigsegg. Love the video, Dan!
Better! Lol
1:11 Gurney Bubble how could ya let that go that feature alone.
I know
Man, if I had the funds, I'd make an offer right away.
Thanks
Even Better Cars Will Come 👍
I think so
I thought it’s been for a sale for a while now? I had to sell my business partner a while ago, I lost a fortune on that one 😂
Me too
We do get attached to inanimate objects. Lovely car though
Yes indeed.
It’s funny how you love this beast versus a Ferrari. Enzo must be rolling in his grave. She is beautiful to behold
Hey I'm just a car guy... Brand doesn't matter, I just like cool cars
hope this doesnt mean josh has to sacrifice his beloved speedster for the good of the company
Nope
It felt wrong giving the video a thumbs up
Yeah
You like this pile of metal more than your 458? Wow!
Yes
You simply don't understand the beauty of GT40...It's far far better than any Ferrari or Lambo.
RIP Dusty Hill... 😥
Yeah.
Imagine going on a Saturday drive having a blast in your favorite car, and you have to take a Ferrari home. lma0
Haha yeah life could be worse

I got my 65 Cobra in La Grange.
Nice
Great show
Thanks
HI Dan, I know you swap out f430 exhausts, I am looking for a good muffler only.... do you have any for sale? Thanks Larry
We sell plenty.
Is this kit car made by factory 5? If not, what company constructed this car? Thanks.

Ah, and I was looking for a GT39.
Dang. Even rarer.

I honestly thought it wasn’t the right “choice” for you since you introduced it. But I’m glad you enjoyed it. Get a Ferrari ! Good luck.

I would suggest not to sell a Ford GT 40. One day it will be worth five times its current value. It's a highly valuable collectors piece of art.
I think it will go up but not that much.
NNNOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
Sadly yes
I have to say I don't like your Channel I love it would like to see you collaborate with other car channels he the boom goin 😊
We're open to collabs, they are just hard to arrange
