Wear what you want to wear, and if people say "Yeezys are dead." then let them say that. Just means that others can actually have a chance of getting them for retail. People wear Yeezys everywhere even though they're supposedly "dead". Don't hate on a shoe you were willing to pay over a rack for a year or two ago.

Yeezys are alienistic shoes, that imo, are quite unique! If the looks are what you're after, Yeezys are a great suggestion! However, if comfort is all that you seek, then the following models can easily substitute for the yeezys: NMD R1s BYW Crazy and, Nite Joggers
I will usually tend to prefer Yeezy’s. I personally think Kanye is a more innovative designer, and I like that he doesn’t use slap logos over everything, he lets the design and color palette speak for itself. I prefer the natural, organic color palette of Yeezy over the vibrant colors that Nike/Jordan uses. I’m not knocking Jordan though, they’re a great brand, just not my taste.

I have 5 of both... yeezys are for daily wear, dumb comfortable. Jordan 1s are my favorite Nike silhouette and they go with anything. Both are Kings of what they do, but you’re comparing apples and oranges.
I love them both, I’m slightly leaning towards yeezys because they looks the same with wear where as the jordans get the dreaded crease, both are beautiful shoes however

I feel like some people can say yeezys are ugly, or that they don’t like yeezys. But I’ve never heard someone say in their right mind that the Jordan 1 is ugly. And it’s not it’s one of the most simple, yet most iconic shoes of all time. And there are so many color ways that everyone can find something for them.

Only thing I dont like about the mids is they dont release og colorways. But, with the milans its special cause they only released this colorway in the mid. The Chicago toe mids are heat as well! I'm relieved that Adidas & Kanye have been pushing out Yeezy V2 as much as they are. For the simple fact that they're allowing the people "who really want a pair of Yeezy" to easily get their hands on a pair. In my opinion he's keeping true to his words & also making sure that profits are coming in for him & Adidas. My favorite sneaker model is the AJ1, but in recent times they've been overdoing it just like V2 has been as well. The best thing about that is if you don't need a colorway that's dropping just pass... not everyone has a closet that's 100+ of sneakers. It makes sense for both companies to continue down this path.
I respect that The fact that Yeezys are getting released all the time so everyone can get em, but if you make a yeezy that is suuuper similar than another one is annoying...
I love my Jordan 1’s. I’m a dunk head and dunks are what got me into the shoe game, therefore 1’s are easily a second favorite, but with that said they’re not very comfortable. V2’s are like walking on clouds, but I’m tired of the same old with the V2’s and they’re getting played out. If i had to choose a favorite brand it would be saucony. You can’t beat the comfort they boast nor can you beat the quality of them for the price.
I think people don’t give enough credit to both shoes in general and what they stand for. No matter how many times they are replicated, they will always be something created from scratch due to an artistic spark. While the hype may die down, the creativity and work that goes into creating the sneaker never will. That being said, as a huge sneakerhead and fan of (almost) every brand (fuck Skechers), I feel like the 350 V2 is said to be overdone for a reason, that being: CONSTRUCTION. The Jordan 1, while similar, is much easier to change up due to the sheer amount of panels and areas on the shoe to manipulate, change, and expand upon. Yeezys, however, really only have the sock liner, primer it upper, midsole, and outsole. The ONLY true rebuttal I see to this is the usage of multiple colors on the upper to make it appear as if there are more sections (ex: 350 Yecheil colorway). Also, on a more personally-biased note, I feel that the leather typically used on Jordan ones makes different colors pop more, whereas the prime knit on yeezys can create an illusion type effect and occasionally make colorway a look more similar due to the materials used. Both are great. Appreciate them while you can, because for all you know they won’t be in production a year from now.
Personally, I love both sneakers especially the Jordan 1 even though now I’m more of a Yeezy guy now. However, I do think that both the AJ1 and 350 v2 are overdone, especially with Jordan having so many options silhouette wise. They could definitely focus on making better colorways for more slept on pairs like the 8s, the 9s (my personal favorite), and even the 14s. On the other hand with Yeezy I’m just waiting to see what they’ll drop next and hopefully they can focus on building a larger catalog of sneakers using their other models rather than repeating what they’ve been doing so far with the 350 v2.
Long time JB Supporter and have picked up a few v2s over the years. I think the yeezy is a more casual, comfortable lifestyle sneaker where the J1 is a more classic sneaker that’s versatile in the aspect that it can be dressed up or down. At this point i think most sneaker heads have at least pair of both. Theres a time and place for both. All love for the Foamer and Buckets !
I was mainly a Jordan guy and I still am but having the 350v2 in rotation seems necessary now. It’s an amazing shoe and might end up having the same legacy for adidas that the Jordan 1 has for Jordan brand
My two favorite shoes by far. I'm tired of all of the red, black, baby blue and white color ways for the 1's. I feel Yeezy 350's have the best earth tone colorway's of any shoe by far. I can wear them in more settings then 1's simply based off the ability of dressing up with them. The 350s have superior comfort, but being a golfer having 1's for cleats is where its at. 1's will always have this nostalgia in my heart, also those Air Dior 1's are straight fireee.

I love the Jordan 1s and the 350v2s. I came into the sneaker game late...in my mid forties so if they had stopped releasing stuff I wouldn't have the pleasure of picking stuff up. I have a couple of GRs of both the Ones and the 350V2s which I wouldn't have copped had they been shelved. Since new fans/ converts keep coming into the sneaker game I think the juggernaut for both should keep rolling to feed the frenzy. Make it available for all. The Hypebeasts will always have the collabs, PEs and the limited editions to fall back on....let us mere mortals enjoy the 170 dollar/220 dollar less coveted shoe like the bloodline and the citrine both of which I love....and nobody else does...and I don't care....I snagged them for a discount...
When I was in 7th grade back in 04/05 my parents bought me a low top Nike AJ1 black and red 3m , let me tell you to this day those were my favorite sneakers, I have never seen them again wish this got brought back
The 350 and the Jordan 1 are my 2 favorite silhouettes. They both go with everything and are super comfortable!! You can compare the 2 of them as far as sales go. The 350’s sell out almost every release. The Jordan 1’s quality is sometimes suspect as well. Comfort level Yeezy all the way but the compare because they both are versatile as well as they both sell very well!! Awesome stuff Foam!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I'm an owner of both and love both so much and I get why people make the comparison (easily the two most popular models of their brands) that's where it ends though. Yeezy 350's are consistent. We know what color pallete (for the most part) we're getting, materials, we know the quality of craftsmanship we're getting and we know the comfort that we will get from them. Consistent all the way through. The excitement and the downfall of the Jordan 1 is the complete opposite of consistency. none of that shit i listed about the 350 is ever guaranteed with a Jordan 1 BUT when they hit on any of those categories or straight up miss, it makes the excitement of that shoe (or the next) feel much more appreciated. There are more layers to loving and hating a Jordan 1 than there are Yeezy's in my opinion and because there's so much more to gain or lose with the Jordan, that's ultimately what I'm gunna rock with. Both shoes are dope, form your own opinions about the two but respect others as well. Be safe and well everyone!
Love'em both, and own both. I also wear other top brands. Yeezys and On Cloud Monsters are my most comfortable shoes, which I wear a lot because I do a lot walking on my job. But, from my experience, most brands are making their sneakers much more comfortable.
I’m a guy who enjoys everything, from Nike/Jordan to Yeezy/adidas, new balance asics diadora Saucony mizuno etc... and i don’t understand comparing at all. First, they are different shoes altogether, basketball vs leisure. That’s like saying what’s a better tool, a hammer or a broom...they each have their place for what they are meant for. I will say both the 1 and 350 need to slow down, to much of the same thing and you start to lose the flavor it once had. Also, putting down another shoe doesn’t raise up the one you like, but accepting the beauty in what others see builds the community and raises us all. At the end of the day we all have the same love.

In my perspective, The yeezy is catching up as the "Jordan brand" of Adidas if you know what I mean. Kanye is establishing himself to become a really strong brand thus he came with more colorways that are more wearable so that many people would be wearing them in the streets as a way to advertise his brand. I love both shoes and I don't want to compare but as much as I love yeezy more than the jordan 1(since I'm short lol), foamie's right. Everything that he said is spot on.
The problem is that the two shoes are just structurally different, the Jordan designed as a basketball shoe, whereas the yeezy is for comfort. I don’t think they are comparable
I had thought about how the Jordan 1 releases will not stop because that's the pair going head to head with Yeezy 350 (both are overly released right now). Looking at it from a business standpoint though, it makes a lot of sense; the companies found something that hits and sticks every time, why reinvent the wheel? I think people like yeezys a lot because they are comfortable and the material, that flyknit or whatever doesn’t show as much wear as creases on the Jordan 1. I like em both tho 🤷🏽♂️

I have a couple of colorways of the Jordan 1 and want to cop the Racer Blue's. To me, it's a classic. I've never been interested in copping a pair of 350 v2's, because I'm just not a fan of the silhouette. Until the Earth's came out. I really dig them and will probably cop a pair. I really love the colorway. All that being said, I'm a Lebron girl. I have so many different colorways of the 16's and 2 of the 17's, with plans for more. I'm like Young Buckets esq. Cause I wear what I like and I'm not a hypebeast.
Jordan’s are definitely a shoe that has more universal appeal , but the 350’s are unmatched in Cozzie swag. If you compare the 2. But those color ways are just 2 bland. You can buy 3 pair of 350’s and be good. Jordan 1’s are top 5 sneaker of all time and even though the color-ways are all over the place. That’s what’s dope about em. Among many other things you mentioned. Like the collabs.. these sneakers are like comparing “gold” to “bit coin”. One has been established as a dependable source of currency the other still has to past the test of time. .. just my humble thoughts though.
I always found it interesting that adidas tried to position the 350 as a Jordan 1 competitor. From making the release dates coincide with other Jordan 1s to giving them nicknames like Bred and Oreo. I think adidas loves the fact that we are even comparing the two. I just wish they would put the 750 on the same spectrum as the Jordan 11 with a holiday release once a year and the “luxury” take on the design
Coming from a person who never bought a pair of Jordans (just always bought something else i liked more instead) and who owns a pair of 350s, they really cant be compared, just because of the history of the Jordans and what they represent: The best player to ever play the game and them being his first. I would actually consider buying a pair of 1s if I ever buy a shoe, not because i like it, but just based off how iconic it is.
Love them both and rock them both. Time will tell if the 350 will compare to the legend that is the Jordan 1. If Kanye opens up the color wheel and eventually sprinkles in some collaborations, it has the potential to be a similarly iconic shoe... but only time will tell. Hey Bro! I just recently got it the Sneaker Game. I'm on a Jordan1 run right now. The Adidas's Yeezy maybe comfortable but to be honest I can't see the hype on that Shoe. My birthday is next Friday, I plan on wearing 3 Brand New Pairs of Jordan 1's during the day.🙂
To be honest, comparing Jordan 1s to Yeezy 350 is like comparing apples to oranges. They’re made of different materials, they offer different level of comfort. But if it’s about iconography, the Jordan 1, at the moment, has had more exposure to that, which took time to get to. The Yeezy will too become an iconic sneaker, in time.
its only natural to prefer one over the other because they are a totally different shoe. different brand, high and low, one can be literally found in almost any color while the other likes to keep it to more earhtly tones, although it varies more in these tones then the other. my personal preference goes to the AJ1s though because i see myself being able to style them better because of their simple design whereas the 350 v2s seem more like a shoe of comfort. not too stylish imo.
When I became a sneaker head around december of 2019, it all started with with my obsession for Adidas, I then found out about yeezys and I wanted a pair desperately. While I do agree that Jordan's are more historical and might have better colorways something about the yeezy makes me feel better than the jordan 1

I don't really mind the similar colors on the 350 only because they always sell out and I've refused to pay resale. If you want a Jordan one you can buy one for retail right now. The cinder 350 was the first one I actually didn't take an L on and got for retail.

Love your videos man and I’m on the same boat with you! 70% of my collection are 1s, however, wearing Jordan 1s all the time can hurt my feet, so the Yeezy 350 alleviates that discomfort. Though, ultimately at the end of the day, if space and money was not an issue, I would expand my variety on my rotations, I.E. new balances, ASICS, reebok, under armour, etc.
I initially thought AJ1s will not be looking good for short guys like me but I bought the OG AJ1 BRED last year and when I put it on my feet, it’s really cool! 350s are also good but now they are not in my current sneaker rotation.
I like both. I think both shoes have too many colorways and I pass on most of em because I like the more classic or wearable colorways. I love my v2 zebras and oreos, but my Satin Black toe and obsidians j1 too.

Through your channel I’ve been able to discover New Balance and ASICS I’m still new to them but I for sure I’m expanding my repertoire. I have some Converse, PF Flyers, John Varvatos converse collaborations, CDGs. Vans some $10 kicks I got in Peru that are unique. Wear what you want and what makes you happy. Honestly love both styles but with both parties who say one is better than the other, they have strong opinions. For me when I see a hypebeast or yeezy fan boy go crazy for a new yeezy, I think they need to broaden their selection because yeezys are not the end all be all. Same with Jordan 1's, sneakerheads have an attachment with the shoe because they grew on it and are die hard fans. But for me who is more in the middle, having grown up with a sneakhead father and in a generation of hypebeasts and yeezy fans, I have a fondness to both shoes. But it's the same as you said formie, "Which ever one fits your style." And for me that's the Jordan 1.
Love your spin on the vs. I love all kinds of shoes. Yezzy is the best new kid on the block. However, Jordan is the Empire of shoes. There are 34 versions of the OG Jordan model and still going. As well as countless other models. Yezzy is comfort at it's finest, but, the body of work isn't there yet. As a certified classic, people will always buy and not get tired of the Jordan 1 OG colorways, and the more hyped up collaborations. You can always skip a release, and just wait for the classics. They can't really over do the model, because the OG pairs usually are somewhat limited. All the other non-OG colorways and GR releases are shoes people don't really care about. The Yeezy 350 V2 did not allow any colorways to get into the realm of being a classic, because they just pump out so many pairs and colorways that the whole consept of the shoe becomes watered out. I don't believe a possible "retro" or re-release of for example the Beluga 1.0 will be hyped up the way a Chicago Jordan 1 will.

I think you nailed the colorway argument. If they put out yeezy like zebra and baluga would be different. But 85% are beige or gray with no lettering or different color. Feels like you have 13 pairs of the same shoe. When jordan re-uses same colors again....they change the blocking. Feels new. Although I still may pass. Love them both. Rock them both. Haven’t pulled the trigger on a pair of V2s in quite a while but my Zebras and my Belugas are in the rotation at least once every week or two. Same with my Jordan 1s and either model feels like a special treat for my feet, whereas my Airmax 1s, 90s and Ultraboosts are more my dailies.

I feel it comes down to which era that you got in the sneaker game in. Most older sneaker heads 32+ are really Jordan heads and not sneaker heads.... but their are some Like myself that love the new era of kicks and really honestly appreciate the direction that the Sneaker game is going and respect the history behind it all. ✌🏽❤️ so I’m a fan of both!

Only thing I dont like about the mids is they dont release og colorways. But, with the milans its special cause they only released this colorway in the mid. The Chicago toe mids are heat as well! I'm relieved that Adidas & Kanye have been pushing out Yeezy V2 as much as they are. For the simple fact that they're allowing the people "who really want a pair of Yeezy" to easily get their hands on a pair. In my opinion he's keeping true to his words & also making sure that profits are coming in for him & Adidas. My favorite sneaker model is the AJ1, but in recent times they've been overdoing it just like V2 has been as well. The best thing about that is if you don't need a colorway that's dropping just pass... not everyone has a closet that's 100+ of sneakers. It makes sense for both companies to continue down this path.

I love my Jordan 1’s. I’m a dunk head and dunks are what got me into the shoe game, therefore 1’s are easily a second favorite, but with that said they’re not very comfortable. V2’s are like walking on clouds, but I’m tired of the same old with the V2’s and they’re getting played out. If i had to choose a favorite brand it would be saucony. You can’t beat the comfort they boast nor can you beat the quality of them for the price.

I think people don’t give enough credit to both shoes in general and what they stand for. No matter how many times they are replicated, they will always be something created from scratch due to an artistic spark. While the hype may die down, the creativity and work that goes into creating the sneaker never will.
That being said, as a huge sneakerhead and fan of (almost) every brand (fuck Skechers), I feel like the 350 V2 is said to be overdone for a reason, that being: CONSTRUCTION. The Jordan 1, while similar, is much easier to change up due to the sheer amount of panels and areas on the shoe to manipulate, change, and expand upon. Yeezys, however, really only have the sock liner, primer it upper, midsole, and outsole. The ONLY true rebuttal I see to this is the usage of multiple colors on the upper to make it appear as if there are more sections (ex: 350 Yecheil colorway). Also, on a more personally-biased note, I feel that the leather typically used on Jordan ones makes different colors pop more, whereas the prime knit on yeezys can create an illusion type effect and occasionally make colorway a look more similar due to the materials used.
Both are great. Appreciate them while you can, because for all you know they won’t be in production a year from now.

Personally, I love both sneakers especially the Jordan 1 even though now I’m more of a Yeezy guy now. However, I do think that both the AJ1 and 350 v2 are overdone, especially with Jordan having so many options silhouette wise. They could definitely focus on making better colorways for more slept on pairs like the 8s, the 9s (my personal favorite), and even the 14s. On the other hand with Yeezy I’m just waiting to see what they’ll drop next and hopefully they can focus on building a larger catalog of sneakers using their other models rather than repeating what they’ve been doing so far with the 350 v2.

Long time JB Supporter and have picked up a few v2s over the years. I think the yeezy is a more casual, comfortable lifestyle sneaker where the J1 is a more classic sneaker that’s versatile in the aspect that it can be dressed up or down. At this point i think most sneaker heads have at least pair of both. Theres a time and place for both. All love for the Foamer and Buckets !

I was mainly a Jordan guy and I still am but having the 350v2 in rotation seems necessary now. It’s an amazing shoe and might end up having the same legacy for adidas that the Jordan 1 has for Jordan brand

My two favorite shoes by far. I'm tired of all of the red, black, baby blue and white color ways for the 1's. I feel Yeezy 350's have the best earth tone colorway's of any shoe by far. I can wear them in more settings then 1's simply based off the ability of dressing up with them. The 350s have superior comfort, but being a golfer having 1's for cleats is where its at. 1's will always have this nostalgia in my heart, also those Air Dior 1's are straight fireee.

I love the Jordan 1s and the 350v2s. I came into the sneaker game late...in my mid forties so if they had stopped releasing stuff I wouldn't have the pleasure of picking stuff up. I have a couple of GRs of both the Ones and the 350V2s which I wouldn't have copped had they been shelved. Since new fans/ converts keep coming into the sneaker game I think the juggernaut for both should keep rolling to feed the frenzy. Make it available for all. The Hypebeasts will always have the collabs, PEs and the limited editions to fall back on....let us mere mortals enjoy the 170 dollar/220 dollar less coveted shoe like the bloodline and the citrine both of which I love....and nobody else does...and I don't care....I snagged them for a discount...

When I was in 7th grade back in 04/05 my parents bought me a low top Nike AJ1 black and red 3m , let me tell you to this day those were my favorite sneakers, I have never seen them again wish this got brought back
The 350 and the Jordan 1 are my 2 favorite silhouettes. They both go with everything and are super comfortable!! You can compare the 2 of them as far as sales go. The 350’s sell out almost every release. The Jordan 1’s quality is sometimes suspect as well. I'm an owner of both and love both so much and I get why people make the comparison (easily the two most popular models of their brands) that's where it ends though. Yeezy 350's are consistent. We know what color pallete (for the most part) we're getting, materials, we know the quality of craftsmanship we're getting and we know the comfort that we will get from them. Consistent all the way through. The excitement and the downfall of the Jordan 1 is the complete opposite of consistency. none of that shit i listed about the 350 is ever guaranteed with a Jordan 1 BUT when they hit on any of those categories or straight up miss, it makes the excitement of that shoe (or the next) feel much more appreciated. There are more layers to loving and hating a Jordan 1 than there are Yeezy's in my opinion and because there's so much more to gain or lose with the Jordan, that's ultimately what I'm gunna rock with. Both shoes are dope, form your own opinions about the two but respect others as well. Be safe and well everyone!
Love'em both, and own both. I also wear other top brands. Yeezys and On Cloud Monsters are my most comfortable shoes, which I wear a lot because I do a lot walking on my job. But, from my experience, most brands are making their sneakers much more comfortable.

I’m a guy who enjoys everything, from Nike/Jordan to Yeezy/adidas, new balance asics diadora Saucony mizuno etc... and i don’t understand comparing at all. First, they are different shoes altogether, basketball vs leisure. That’s like saying what’s a better tool, a hammer or a broom...they each have their place for what they are meant for. I will say both the 1 and 350 need to slow down, to much of the same thing and you start to lose the flavor it once had. Also, putting down another shoe doesn’t raise up the one you like, but accepting the beauty in what others see builds the community and raises us all. At the end of the day we all have the same love.

In my perspective, The yeezy is catching up as the "Jordan brand" of Adidas if you know what I mean. Kanye is establishing himself to become a really strong brand thus he came with more colorways that are more wearable so that many people would be wearing them in the streets as a way to advertise his brand. I love both shoes and I don't want to compare but as much as I love yeezy more than the jordan 1(since I'm short lol), foamie's right. Everything that he said is spot on.

I had thought about how the Jordan 1 releases will not stop because that's the pair going head to head with Yeezy 350 (both are overly released right now). Looking at it from a business standpoint though, it makes a lot of sense; the companies found something that hits and sticks every time, why reinvent the wheel?

I have a couple of colorways of the Jordan 1 and want to cop the Racer Blue's. To me, it's a classic. I've never been interested in copping a pair of 350 v2's, because I'm just not a fan of the silhouette. Until the Earth's came out. I really dig them and will probably cop a pair. I really love the colorway. All that being said, I'm a Lebron girl. I have so many different colorways of the 16's and 2 of the 17's, with plans for more. I'm like Young Buckets esq. Cause I wear what I like and I'm not a hypebeast.

Jordan’s are definitely a shoe that has more universal appeal , but the 350’s are unmatched in Cozzie swag. If you compare the 2. But those color ways are just 2 bland. You can buy 3 pair of 350’s and be good. Jordan 1’s are top 5 sneaker of all time and even though the color-ways are all over the place. That’s what’s dope about em. Among many other things you mentioned. Like the collabs.. these sneakers are like comparing “gold” to “bit coin”. One has been established as a dependable source of currency the other still has to past the test of time. .. just my humble thoughts though.
I always found it interesting that adidas tried to position the 350 as a Jordan 1 competitor. From making the release dates coincide with other Jordan 1s to giving them nicknames like Bred and Oreo. I think adidas loves the fact that we are even comparing the two. I just wish they would put the 750 on the same spectrum as the Jordan 11 with a holiday release once a year and the “luxury” take on the design

Coming from a person who never bought a pair of Jordans (just always bought something else i liked more instead) and who owns a pair of 350s, they really cant be compared, just because of the history of the Jordans and what they represent: The best player to ever play the game and them being his first. I would actually consider buying a pair of 1s if I ever buy a shoe, not because i like it, but just based off how iconic it is.
Love them both and rock them both. Time will tell if the 350 will compare to the legend that is the Jordan 1. If Kanye opens up the color wheel and eventually sprinkles in some collaborations, it has the potential to be a similarly iconic shoe... but only time will tell. To be honest, comparing Jordan 1s to Yeezy 350 is like comparing apples to oranges. They’re made of different materials, they offer different level of comfort.
But if it’s about iconography, the Jordan 1, at the moment, has had more exposure to that, which took time to get to. The Yeezy will too become an iconic sneaker, in time.

its only natural to prefer one over the other because they are a totally different shoe. different brand, high and low, one can be literally found in almost any color while the other likes to keep it to more earhtly tones, although it varies more in these tones then the other. my personal preference goes to the AJ1s though because i see myself being able to style them better because of their simple design whereas the 350 v2s seem more like a shoe of comfort. not too stylish imo.
When I became a sneaker head around december of 2019, it all started with with my obsession for Adidas, I then found out about yeezys and I wanted a pair desperately. While I do agree that Jordan's are more historical and might have better colorways something about the yeezy makes me feel better than the jordan 1

I don't really mind the similar colors on the 350 only because they always sell out and I've refused to pay resale. If you want a Jordan one you can buy one for retail right now. The cinder 350 was the first one I actually didn't take an L on and got for retail.

Love your videos man and I’m on the same boat with you! 70% of my collection are 1s, however, wearing Jordan 1s all the time can hurt my feet, so the Yeezy 350 alleviates that discomfort. Though, ultimately at the end of the day, if space and money was not an issue, I would expand my variety on my rotations, I.E. new balances, ASICS, reebok, under armour, etc.

I have some Converse, PF Flyers, John Varvatos converse collaborations, CDGs. Vans some $10 kicks I got in Peru that are unique. Wear what you want and what makes you happy. Honestly love both styles but with both parties who say one is better than the other, they have strong opinions. For me when I see a hypebeast or yeezy fan boy go crazy for a new yeezy, I think they need to broaden their selection because yeezys are not the end all be all. Same with Jordan 1's, sneakerheads have an attachment with the shoe because they grew on it and are die hard fans. But for me who is more in the middle, having grown up with a sneakhead father and in a generation of hypebeasts and yeezy fans, I have a fondness to both shoes. But it's the same as you said formie, "Which ever one fits your style." And for me that's the Jordan 1.
Love your spin on the vs. I love all kinds of shoes. Yezzy is the best new kid on the block. However, Jordan is the Empire of shoes. There are 34 versions of the OG Jordan model and still going. As well as countless other models. Yezzy is comfort at it's finest, but, the body of work isn't there yet. As a certified classic, people will always buy and not get tired of the Jordan 1 OG colorways, and the more hyped up collaborations. You can always skip a release, and just wait for the classics. They can't really over do the model, because the OG pairs usually are somewhat limited. All the other non-OG colorways and GR releases are shoes people don't really care about. The Yeezy 350 V2 did not allow any colorways to get into the realm of being a classic, because they just pump out so many pairs and colorways that the whole consept of the shoe becomes watered out. I don't believe a possible "retro" or re-release of for example the Beluga 1.0 will be hyped up the way a Chicago Jordan 1 will.

I think you nailed the colorway argument. If they put out yeezy like zebra and baluga would be different. But 85% are beige or gray with no lettering or different color. Feels like you have 13 pairs of the same shoe. When jordan re-uses same colors again....they change the blocking. Feels new. Although I still may pass. For ex.im passing on court purple 2.0 cause already have court purple 1.0. Maybe 😂
Love them both. Rock them both. Haven’t pulled the trigger on a pair of V2s in quite a while but my Zebras and my Belugas are in the rotation at least once every week or two. Same with my Jordan 1s and either model feels like a special treat for my feet, whereas my Airmax 1s, 90s and Ultraboosts are more my dailies.
